The Greenhouses

Fabian smiles when he sees Caradoc. "Well, howdy," he greets. He can get away with it, too, being Fabian and all. "I'm not doing much--kind of just looking at plants." He pokes the leaf of a nearby fern. "But you can probably see that. I don't come in here often, you see. And you? What has your inevitably more exciting life involved?"

"Howdy? Well, hey there, partner," he laughed, replying in a sexy cowboy accent. "Oh, you know, the usual. Guitar, chillaxing with friends, eating bananas-- actually, my life has been rather boring due to distinct lack of Prewett in it, though I did chill with tour brother earlier today, and Molly yesterday," he replied, leaving out the two activities he'd been going the most-- fucking, and daydreaming about a certain beautiful man.

Fabian idly picked at growing grass as he leaned against a counter. "Well I'm sure your days have been much worse without the best Prewett around," he said, gesturing to himself. "And I do need to hear you play guitar again. Bananas? Are they your favorite food?"

"Oh, yeah, of course, I miss the best Prewett so much, it's been ages since I've hung out with her, Alice is amazing!" he teased, grinning at Fabian. "But I'd love to play for you again, if you'd like. I really enjoyed that. And yeah, I love bananas. They're delicious, and great for demonstrating with, and being the expert, I find myself giving a lot of sex ed lessons."

Fabian blinked. He was so not seeing that coming. "Sex ed lessons?" He repeats, still not quite believing it. "Please tell me it's a visual demonstration only." He pouts. "Alice? Your favorite? After everything we've been through!" He pretends to sob dramatically.

"... So far, yes, visual only... for the most part. I'm not the best artist, so sex positions was a little difficult to cover without some form of demonstration. Oh, don't look at me like that, it's not like I took my clothes off! Really now, Fabian," he laughed, shaking his head. "And why should you be my favorite? You're hardly around, mister. Even if, just between you and I, you are the sexiest Prewett. Of course, Molly and Alice can't really get mad, given that my homosexuality obviously influences my choice there."

"I'm sorry, but when you parade around half-clothed every day, I begin to become a bit skeptic." He chuckled, not really too uncomfrotable by what Caradoc had said. After all, a compliment was a compliment. "Well, I must say I totally agree. I mean, look at this hair." He flipped it beautifully. "How is that not the most perfect thing you've ever seen in the world?"

"Oh, your hair is gorgeous, Fabian, but that wasn't what I was thinking about," he said with a huge grin and a wink, leaving it up to Fabian to interpret the meaning of his words. Though, the more I get to know you, the more perfect you seem to be, in my eyes, with your innocence and naivety. Is it so wrong that your purity is what makes you so damn desirable? Caradoc pushed the thoughts away as he kept the smile on his face, shrugging again. "hey, I like to get an even tan, I hate tan lines, it's no good, when you're a model, either!"

Fabian blinked, his smile still in tact. He didn't bother to really analyze what Caradoc had said. "Pfft. You and your 'modeling'." He said, putting air-quotes around 'modeling'. "How do you manage to model when at school? Hm?"

"I don't, but I have a reputation and body to maintain, and old habits die hard. Besides, I still send out portfolios and stuff for jobs over break, and all," he explained, rolling his eyes. "Either way, you'd be considerably less happy to see me if I didn't look this good, and I like to see the way you smile when you look at me, after all," he admitted as he smiled, reaching over to brush a strand of hair out of Fabian's eyes. "It's cute, the way you light up."

Fabian shifted his weight to his other foot, wondering if he was reading into what Caradoc was doing too much. After all, Caradoc was a flirt by nature--and maybe this wasn't even considered flirting. Fabian wasn't very good at that--he was more of the 'Oh, I like you and want to date you so I'll just be nice rather than flirt, kay?' type of person. "Well assuming you're complimenting my smile," he said, finding that he couldn't stop smiling. "I have to say you have a nice one, too. And, even in case you aren't complimenting my smile, you still have a nice smile."

Caradoc chuckled and sighed, loving Fabian's slight awkwardness, and his obvious innocence-- it's what made him so endearing. "Yes, Fabian, I was complimenting your smile, because it's rather beautiful, like the rest of you. Also, thank you," he replied, still smiling, of course. WELL AREN'T THEY JUST VERY SMILEY PEOPLE? It's a good thing they both love to smile so much, I suppose. Caradoc leaned against the greenhouse wall and rested his eyes on Fabian's flawless face, and for once, he realized, he didn't want to just keep playing his favorite game, with the flirting and the tension-- he just wanted to be here, with him, and that was alright.

Fabian felt his face--and ears--heat up once more. DAMN CARADOC AND HIS CHARMING WAYS. 'Well, if we're complimenting one another, then I'll have you know that your smile makes my stomach flip, your eyes are the prettiest blue I've ever seen, and your laugh makes me feel like there's no better place to be in the whole world.' Then Fabian stopped thinking these thoughts while still trying to grasp on to his straightness. "Finally, my extensive beauty treatments are beginning to work!" He said, managing a light chuckle in hopes of easing the tension.

Caradoc watched with bright eyes as Fabian flushed, thrilled to be the one doing this to him, to make the blood rush all the way up to his ears as he let out another laugh, simply because it was too adorable for words. "Yes, your extensive beauty treatments most certainly work, though I somehow don't think they have anything to do with quite how sweet you look when you blush, Fabian," he answered, twirling a short lock of his own blonde hair around his finger as he gazed intently at his friend, awaiting what was sure to be another undeniably cute reaction.

"I like your nose," Fabian blurted. He nearly facepalmed after saying it, once he realized what he had exactly said. "I mean--that's not to say that's my favorite quality about you, but I just... Well, I mean... I don't mean to say that your nose pales in comparison to other qualities--It's a nice nose, it really is. It's like, a role model to other noses. Like, it's a Caradoc nose, and it's very..." He was positive his face was beet red right now, and he probably looked like a total dork, fumbling over words and being so flustered. Not to say that he cared what Caradoc thought... Pfft, of course not. "Nose-y."

Caradoc blinked, stared, and promptly burst out laughing, and unable to help himself, threw his arms around Fabian in a huge hug. "I can't even... Thanks, Fabian. My world is a much better place now that I know of your adoration of my nose. I have to say, it has never received such compliments before," he laughed, leaving his arms around Fabian's neck as he pulled back slightly to grin at him. "And just so you know, my nose likes you too, Fabian," he chortled, leaning in and giving him an adorable eskimo kiss, then letting go of him finally, still laughing at how sweet Fabian was.

Fabian laughed before tensing at Caradoc's hug. He felt his heartbeat speed up and his breath catch in his throat as Caradoc got closer to him. He couldn't hear anything as Caradoc was so close to him, and he was entirely focused on how the distance between the two was becoming smaller and smaller. "I-I'm very glad that you... your nose is happy. It deserves happiness--really." He stammered.

Caradoc chuckled as he took a step back again, before Fabian began hyperventilating, or something of the sort. "I'm glad you care so deeply for my nose's happiness. You know, after all that you and my nose have been through together, I feel like you should have the honor of giving my nose a name, or something. Just calling it a nose when it clearly means so much to you just can't be right! Noses need love too, after all, it's only fair," he teased, bopping Fabian on his nose with his finger.

Fabian felt a could of weight fly off his shoulders as Caradoc backed up a bit. "You're right. Completely--how could I have been so uncaring? How about Cara? Like Caradoc, but more feminine." He smirked, wondering if there was anything about Caradoc that was slightly unmanly.
