The Library

[*cuddles a lot and flails* LOVE YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! XX00]

Dee skips in and starts to read.

CUE NIKKI.

Nikki floats into the library, trying to find the counter for the charm she just invented. "Note to self, don't try out charms on self." She tried to propel herself to the Charm section, waving her body around, but ends up just flailing into Dee.

"Ow... hi Nikki." She rubs her head, where Nikki flailed at it, and closes her book. "Erm... watcha doing?"

"Doing a study in the effects of gravitational negation." She tried to keep a straight face, but couldn't. A small smile broke out. "Actually, I was messing around with my Arithmancy homework and invented this charm. I thought it would make a cloud for me to sit on, but it just made me hover. I really shouldn't try experimental charms on myself." She shrugged, "What's up with you? I haven't seen you in absolute ages!"

"Oh, I see." She looks interested in the charm, but doesn't dwell on the fact because she has a pounding headache and barely registered half of what her friend said. "My head hurts," she mumbles, and slams her head on the table. "And now it's worse."

Nikki blinked. She quickly fumbled through her robes, trying to find an anti-headache potion, but to no avail. "Sorry, I got nothing to help."

"That's alright. It's just a hangover," she mutters, head still on the table. "It'll be gone in awhile.

Nikki cocked her head. "Was the party worth the hangover?"

"Don't even remember the party, really. I think I yelled at someone. I may have called my cousin a whore too." She rubs her temples. "But she is a whore..."

Nikki raised her eyebrows. "Sounds... interesting..." She giggled at Dee's thing about her cousin.

"I didn't stay the whole time either, which is probably... a good thing." She sighs and lifts her aching head. "Because six firebeers is never enough for me... I hadn't had a drink in so long..."

"Well, are you happy or sad you did drink?

"I don't know. Tam told me forever ago to stop, so I did." She clenches her fists at the memory of her sister. "And now I don't want to do anything Tam says, 'cause I hate her. This is more complicated than it need be."

"What if I tell you to not drink? I am not Tam, I would hope you don't hate me, so it could work..." Nikki trailed off and gave Dee a hug.

[REG WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO TOLGA. AND DEE, ACTUALLY, IF SHE FEELS LIKE IT]

"Nah, I don't hate you!" She returns the hug and shakes her head. "But... I don't want to stop. It helps me forget the crap. I don't want to remember anymore."

[Really? Alright then.]

[I HATE THAT BROWSER, BUT I WILL USE IT FOR YOU!]

Nikki's face fell. "Dee..." She sighed. "I am always here. Really." She pulled her into a superhug.

"Thanks, Dr. Orwell." She laughs quietly. "Dean told me about your services, and stuff."

Nikki laughed. "I wouldn't be as scary to you... You have less to be scared out of..."

"Was he really that addicted?" She frowns. "Poor Dean. I don't know why, but I feel slightly responsible for that... but it was forever ago."

Theo walked slowly up to the Library, and pulled out his sketch book as soon as he stepped past the door. He felt somewhat a traitor, for his love of books. It pushed on Ravenclaw status. Walking over to a window, he pulled out some tinted charcoals and started sketching the scene before with quick, deft strokes.

Pansy walked into the library for goodness knows what reason, seeing as she probably had better things to do, like Draco Malfoy and she made her way along an outer aisle, not sure exactly what she was looking for when she caught sight of the back of a familiar head. Theo? Was it really? She snuck up behind him and peeked over his shoulder. Drawing, like he always had been. "What'cha drawing?" Pansy smiled, wondering if she'd been able to sneak up on him. He seemed to be in his own little world when he was drawing sometimes.

Theo almost jumped, but training had taught him to not. He just nodded towards the window, the moonlight flashign off his blue eyes. "The nightscape. It's pretty gorgeous, no?" he gestrued vaguely. "The way the moonlight hits the trees and all." he put the charcoals down. "So how have you been, Pansy?" he turned to look at her and motioned for her to sit.

Pansy took a seat beside him, glancing at his sketch. "Quite gorgeous. I envy your skill, you know." She probably would have tacklehugged him had he been standing and not holding fragile charcoals and his precious sketchbook. But she knew better, and besides, it was difficult to tacklehug someone who was sitting. "I've been good. Missed seeing you for all this time. Where you been? You've sure missed out on a hell of a lot around here."
