Boy's Dormitory 5 (Tom, Evan)

Evan's first reaction is to slap Penny for being so foolishly irresponsible. His second reaction is to find Marcus, cut his balls off, and set him on fire. His hands ball into fists and he takes several deep, calming breaths. All of a sudden, he feels like a completely shit excuse for a brother, and wonders what else Penny's had to deal with alone.

"Penny. Explain. NOW."

she looks up at him like a frightened bunny rabbit. "well I uh. I don't even know where to start! I guess...Marcus and I were "close" a while ago...and then I started to like this Cormac guy. and then I was suddenly pregnant. out of nowhere." that's a lie, it could have been Marcus', but SHH! "Cormac basically shoved me into Marcus' arms because, well...we thought it was his baby. and then we sort of bonded. and then out of the blue the baby disappeared. turns out it was a fucking SPELL. and...well, here we are..." she looked down, expecting the very worst.

Evan runs his hands through his hair, turning away from Penny to kick the nearest bed (the Terminator's bed).

"FUCK!"

He turns back to Penny, storming over to his little sister. He yanks her roughly into a hug.

"What the hell were you thinkin'? You shoulda been tellin' me all this when it happened! Shit, Penny, if I'd known all this, I'da been back a helluva lot sooner."

Penny was shocked. he didn't yell or scream. "I'm sorry..." she said into his shirt and wrapped her arms around him. "I-I thought I could handle it and then things just got so outta control..."

Evan hugs her tighter, even though hugging really isn't his thing and he doesn't really know if he wants to get too used to doing this girly shit for Penny. She seems to need it though, so for now he puts up with it. He pats her awkwardly on the shoulder.

"You're meant to let me handle things, you know. I'm here to look out for you, you just gotta say the word and you know I'll be there to take care of it. I still don't like your fuckin' little bitch of a boyfriend, though. You're just gonna have to deal with that. Slightest hint of him messin' up again and he's dead."

[Faye, go practice being silent, like a good woman should.]

she pulled back, realizing this hugging thing was too much for her manly big brother to handle. "I know I just...I wanted to handle it. it's my body ya know? and it was kinda personal. Plus i was too afraid you'd kill me. or Marcus..."

Evan smirks. She knows him too well.

"Marcus, probably. You? I'd look after you, kid. We ain't got noone else, do we?"

He doesn't address her comments about the fact that it was her body, and what happened to it was kind of personal. Because that's just freakin' awkward. She's his sister, for Christ's sake! He really doesn't want to be thinking about her having sex. And oh shit, they're orphans... there's nobody else to palm the 'safety first' speech off on.... Oh, fuck. He moves a little further away, running a hand and pretending to be looking for his book bag. He clears his throat.

"You are bein'.... careful, aren't ya, Pen?"

Evan Rosier does not blush. But he's pretty fucking close right now.

Evan growls, even though he knows Penny's teasing.

"Shut UP, you cheeky little bitch! No sister of mine is going to be whoring around the castle. Leave that shit for the Gryffin-whores, ya hear me? Keep your business private, eh?"

He shudders for effect. Which is like the closest he's ever come to making a joke.
