Outside the Great Hall

Lee stood at the bottom of the stairs, waiting for Luna.

Luna walks down the stairs wondering if Lee is there yet and sees him waiting. "Hi Lee!" She walks up to him smiling widely.

"Luna!" Lee's face lit up, she looked beautiful. He took her hand and placed a gentle kiss on the back of it, "You look amazing"

Luna blushed as she kissed his hand. "Thank you. So do you!"

"Thank you" He offered her his arm, "Shall we head in?"

Bella waltzed out of the Great Hall, wondering if there was anyone interesting around to talk to, or someone annoying enough to practice hexes on. She leaned against a wall, humming to herself and twirling her wand as she debating on what to do...wander around aimlessly, or purposefully.

Narcissa wandered by the Great Hall, peering in at the dance that was still going on to see who, if anybody, was there. Her eyes caught a familiar figure leaning against a nearby wall and she grinned. "Bella!" she exclaimed, walking over to her sister. "It's great to see you, I feel like it's been ages." she tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. "How have you been?"

Bella glanced up to see her sister, and gleefully hugged her. "Cissa! It certainly has been too long! I've just been remarkably BORED. Only a few occasions of even bothering our darling traitorous cousin...nothing else!" Her voice was mournful of missed opportunities. "What about you, I noticed you had a date to this dance!"

She smiled. "I've had only one run-in with Sirius, fortunately," she said. "Seeing as he's rather... troublesome these days, I prefer less encounters." Cissy joined Bellatrix in leaning against the wall. "And I came to the dance with Severus Snape... He's in your year, right? Tall, a bit pale, with black hair?" she said, gesturing in case Bella didn't know him.

"Ah, troublesome he's always been. Little fool. " She paused, trying to think if she'd spoken to him. "Snape...Snape...Severus Snape...Hmm...Well, I think so. Haven't talked to him. Seems a bit moody, though has shown...devotion to the dark arts that could be promising, even if it's gone neglected recently."

She laughed. "Well, that's certainly Severus all right! And, what about you, Bella? Did you dance at all? And, building upon that, have you gotten a boyfriend or anything?"

Bella waved her hand, as if dismissing the thought. "Not a one. I think I might've drifted off to sleep from boredom, and having all the good-looking decent guys get nabbed. Not enough motivation to steal one last night, either. No boyfriend either. I've gotten quite the lovely dress out of it...I'm really quite fond of this one. Befits one of our stature wonderfully. It would be a nice change to have a boy willingly turn his eyes to some of the...better witches around, though."

Cissy sighed. "I agree completely," she said with a flip of her hair. "You would think that Hogwarts would have a finer selection of boys, but they're all taken. I have half a mind to take someone else's boyfriend for the sheer lack of anything better to do!" she said, though she knew she was all talk. If it ever really came down to it, she didn't think that she could do that morally. "And have you been in touch with Regulus or Andromeda? I haven't seen much of them this year..."

[Aw. Lack of Andromeda = Cissa's the nice one. ]

Bella laughed, knowing her sister could be too sweet at times, but loving her the same. "Exactly, Cissa! But, no, I haven't been in touch with the precious new heir or our sister. Little Reggie's getting tutored by a professional Quidditch player, did you hear? If the athlete wasn't in Gryffindor, i'd have thought he was HIRED to leave Durmstrang and come here. "

[ I think Cissy would've been nice as a kid, whereas age seemed to twist her and turn her selfish and made her views more, erm... warped?]

Narcissa raised her eyebrows at the knowledge, keeping it in mind for further use. "I didn't," she said. On one hand, Severus seemed to hate Viktor, but on another, Narcissa thought he was extremely sexy a very skilled athlete and he was training Regulus... she didn't know what to think. "Let's hope that Regulus learns something from him; Slytherin could use the victory against Gryffindor, heaven knows. They seem to pride themselves in every little accomplishment. I'd love to see them lose a Quidditch match against us, what with Viktor Krum being on the team and all," she said, a bit snarky.

["Little Reggie" might punch you as well if you call him that to his face.]

[Bella would probably just be sort of amused. I can just picture her treating everyone younger or not good enough as if they were children. >_> Sorry for the very late reply to...out to dinner.]

"Yes, it'd be terrific. They'd have even less to pride themselves on than what they already have...to lose with an actual player, because he'd taught the opposing team.." Bellatrix chuckled. "It'd be wonderful. I should make it a point to encourage Regulus...defend his House and family name all in one, or at least make his name with Quidditch prowess. More respect to the family. "

Tam wandered in from the grounds, not sure where she was going.

Remus had left the RoR and was just sort of wandering now. He spotted Tam walking by and figured that since she was Mya's twin he'd better see if she was okay with the whole engagement thing. "Hey Tam!" He waved and walked over to her. "I have a question for you."

Tam supressed her grin and refrained from hugging him, "Yes Remus?"

"How would you feel if I asked Hermione to marry me?" He hoped she'd be okay with it, hoped she'd think that he was good enough for Hermione. "Would you be okay with it? I have to ask, you're part of her family after all."

Katie strolled up, but stopped seeing Remus and Tam talking, She flattened against a wall to hear.

Tam studied him carefully, "What makes you think that you would be good for her? Or that she would say yes?" It took all of her self control to not grin, scream of course and throw herself at him.

[also I would like it to be known how proud Tam is of Katie and that she's getting extra ice cream tonight for being such a good creeper]
