Outside the Great Hall

Sirius shrugged. "I know...so does this mean I won't have to send an owl to your house saying I'm moving out"

The corner of James' mouth twitched. "I think there's plenty time left in the school year to figure that one out." He picked up his wand, nodded to Remus, then walked away.

Remus nodded back to James as he left. He really hoped that this could get fixed. He turned to Sirius. "Hey...let's go for a walk...may help you cool down a little."

[Wait. I'm so confused. I guess this is Reg going up to the locker rooms after leaving Cormac at the pitch, not last night. Alright.]

[oh...i have no idea hahaha i just know it's happening]

Sirius rolled his eyes but was glad he was at least talking to James again. "Yeah, thanks Moony."

[where exactly is this happening again? sorry, forgot]

"No problem. Let's go." He turned and headed out the castle to the grounds.

George stalked out of the great hall and slumped down next to a wall. How could Angela have mistaken Fred for him? He supposed it would be an easy mistake to make, but he thought after everything, she'd be able to tell his twin and him apart. Were they even wearing the same suit? "Why Angela?! Oh God why?" he said putting his head in his hands.

Angela ran out of the great hall intent on searching for George. she stopped right outside however, not having to look any further, seeing George on the ground, his head in his hands. she could feel the tears coming to her eyes as she walked tentatively over to him.

George looked up as he heard somebody approaching. When he saw it was Angela he put his head back down and mumbled "go away."

her heart broke at his words. "George I...I'm so sorry..." she whispered. it was all she could do not to completely lose it. "I wasn't paying attention. please" she begged him to let her stay

George looked up. "I don't know what to say Ange. That hurt."

she sank down to her knees. "Merlin. I-I don't, I don't know what else to say! I wasn't paying enough attention! I hadn't even known Fred was AT the ball until now. can't you see it was an honest mistake?" she pleaded with him

George looked at her. "Ange, I know it was, it just..hurt me to see you with him."

"I know, and i wish i could take it back. i should have been paying more attention, Merlin i'm such an idiot" she trailed off

George's head snapped up and his eyes met hers. "You're anything but an idiot. You're the most beautiful girl I know, and definitely the sweetest, and thats why I'm so afraid to lose you. I still can't believe that I even have you."

she felt the tears stream down her face. she shook her head. "No i should have realized it was Fred and not you. like you said, I thought i could tell the difference. I guess not...and you could never lose me. i love you too much, even though what just happened happened. I'm so sorry"

"Ange, I over reacted. I'm sorry. We're twins for Merlin's sake. I just...love you too much."

Angela looked up at him through her tears. "I know I just, I feel awful! what about Fred? how is this gonna affect him?" [*is saying that they know about Frikki*] she tried to wipe away some of the tears from her face, knowing she must look a fright.

George reached up and wiped a tear from her cheek. He kissed her gently. "We should go talk to Nikki. They were together right?"

she was so glad he didn't completely hate her for what she did. "I think so, but I have no idea where she went...I can't believe you aren't yelling at me. I feel so awful, I could have ruined Fred's relationship, and ours..."

"Ange, you know I can't stay mad at you for long. Look, Fred's probably a wreck. We have to go at least talk to him if we can't find Nikki. He hasn't come out of the great hall."

Ange nodded and sniffed. she wiped away the remainder of the tears. "we should. I need to apologize"
