A Bathroom

"Really? People keep saying that to me about Slytherins. My friend, Scorpius, is in Slytherin and he's pretty cool. But I did meet two douchebags this morning. They vere in Slytherin and I'd rather not have another run in vith them," he says, referring to Severus and Lucius.

"Oh yeah, I know Scorpius," he said nodding, seeing as Rolf and Scorpy Scorp are in the same year. "He seems alright. Tends to keep to himself...or well...he actually tends to just keep to chasing after all the females in the school. Most Slytherins though you want to avoid. What they believe in is usually...not very good," he said breaking off.

Viktor smirks because that sounds like Scorpius. Chasing girls around the castle and all. "Yeah, everyvon says that but no von explains vy they're supposed to be such trouble. Vy is it that everyvon seems to have negative views of that house?" he asks curiously.

"Well, as I mentioned...it's their beliefs, their views. Though not all individuals in the house hold the same views, many are pureblood supremacists. They insult others just because they are muggleborn or half-blood. It isn't right. We're all here for the same reason and it shouldn't matter who your parents are."

Viktor sighs and leans against the sink. "Oh. Right. Should have figured that out on my own. Sounds just like Durmstrang. Except ve didn't have houses there. Most of the students vere like that though. They didn't insult Muggleborns to their faces of course...because they're not allowed in the school at Durmstrang. They only accept Pure and Halfbloods," he explains as he rolls his eyes.

"Damn," he muttered. "I mean...I knew that Durmstrang was all pro-Dark Arts, but I didn't realize that they didn't even accept muggleborns. My parents had debated on settling in Bulgaria, seeing as it was closer to Africa and that's where my grandfather was at the time. But, they figured that Hogwarts was a better match for me than Durmstrang."

Viktor nodded. "I like Hogvarts much better. The classes are more diverse, and the students here are much friendlier compared to some of the people I knew back home. Vonce I came here for the Tri-Wizard tournament, I realized that there are different vays of teaching. I had no idea that other schools vere so different, especially vith the Pureblood/Halfblood issue."

"I know what you mean," Rolf said, nodding his head slightly. "Not only schools, but communities can be so different. I've traveled to a bunch of places with my family and towns are completely different. The way that the countries are run are just completely different. In some aspects it is good, in others it's bad."

"Exactly. I've seen it all too from traveling for Quidditch. It's crazy how people can judge others on something like blood status. My best friend is a muggleborn, and she's the greatest witch I've ever met," he says, thinking of Hermione.

"Yeah, magic has nothing whatsoever to do with blood. It's ridiculous how people can believe such things. Who is your friend?" he asked. "OH HEY, ISN'T IT FUNNY THAT OUR FUTURE GIRLFRIENDS ARE DATING EACH OTHER?!"

OH MY GOD THAT'S CRAZY! MAYBE WE SHOULD INVENT A PERFUME TOGETHER. Viktor grins. "Herm-own-ninny. She's a Gryffindor as vell. Do you know her?"

"OH HEY, THAT'S ACTUALLY LIKE...A REALLY GOOD IDEA. I BET WE COULD BECOME LIKE, BILLIONAIRES. I WANNA BE A BILLIONAIRE, SO FUCKING BAD. BUY ALL OF THE THINGS I'VE NEVER HAD" Rolf thought for a moment, the name sounded sort of familiar but he couldn't quite picture the face. Then again, the way Viktor said the name was a little...confusing. [*blinks*] "I'm not sure," he admitted. "She sounds familiar, and I'm sure she is a lovely person though she's dating my future wife and needs to GTFO now."

"She's amazing. I've never met somevon like her," he said with a grin. "She's that friend that I could talk to about anything, you know? And er- About the name. It's...I'm not saying it right," he admits sheepishly because he hates that he can't even pronounce his best friend's name right. Of all the words to not be able to say, he just happened to have a problem with her name and it drove him crazy. "It's not a name I'm used to hearing in Bulgaria, so it's rather difficult...vith the accent and all."

HERMIONE LOVES THE WAY VIKTOR SAYS HER NAME, AND IF ANYBODY EVER TEACHES HIM HOW TO SAY IT CORRECTLY, SHE WILL KILL THEM. KILL. THEM.

"Oh, well...that makes sense then," he said, his own smile a bit sheepish at having made Viktor seem sheepish. What a sheepish bunch....without Dean because inner!Rolf does not like Dean right now. "I'm sure that I know her in passing at least. I mean, especially by the way you describe her." He began to wonder if there was something more between Viktor and this Herm-own-ninny.

Oh, forgot that he doesn't know Viktor is gay yet. Oops. Hehe. "Yeah. She's pretty amazing. Really smart, and clever, and she's really honest and loyal as vell." Yep, Viktor could go on and on about Hermione. "You'd like her, I'm sure. I don't see how anybody could dislike somevon like her."

Rolf couldn't help but smile when Viktor described Herm-own-ninny. She seemed like an amazing girl. "Now...is she your girlfriend...or just a friend?" he asked, leaning against the sink.

Viktor looks beyond shocked. Not gonna lie. "My vot? Oh, no. No, she's just a friend. My best friend, but that's all. I'm gay," he explains right away, making sure to set things straight. "Yeah...I don't like girls. Just guys."

Rolf isn't quite sure what to say, so he just stand there with a slightly dazed expression. "Well...that's cool," he said with a small shrug 'cause it's no big deal. "I never would have really come to that conclusion without you telling me...but I suppose I can see that."

Viktor smiles because he's glad Rolf didn't act all weird like Sirius did at first. "Yeah, most people don't figure it out on their own because of the whole 'manly' thing. Not that I mind. I don't expect people to figure it out on their own. It's hard to tell these days, I suppose."
