Outside the Great Hall

"Yeah," he says, running his hand through his hair. "Listen, Dom, last time we saw each other... Well, erm... You remember that kiss, right?"

"Err, yeah," she says. How could she forget? Uh-duh. "I'm really sorry about that. That was...not something I would have done under normal circumstances."

He nodded. "I'm sorry, too. I mean, did it cause any trouble? With your boyfriend and all?"

She blushes lightly over the term 'boyfriend', because Dean and her were never really technically together. "It err, it had at the time, but it wasn't just that. More of a compilation of problems. Um, but I think 'going to be alright now," she says giving him a small smile.

He breathed a sigh of relief. "Well, I'm glad, then. I would've felt really bad if it had ended anything."

"No, no, no worries. Everything seems like it'll be just fine," she says giving him a reassuring smile. "How have you been? Well?" she asks.

"Yes, I've been fine. You know, delivering babies, discovering my sexuality, being fabulous. That sort of thing." he smiled.

She looks at him a bit confused. "I think you'll have to slow down for a moment. Delivery babies? You mean Mya and Remus' baby?" she asks. She thinks for a moment then asks, "DISCOVERING YOUR SEXUALITY?!"

"Yeah, she's lovely, isn't she?" he says, and blinks when she nearly yells. "Um... yes, I'm gay... Did you not know?"

"Huh, no. That wasn't really confessed before or after we kissed," she says slightly surprised to her technically great Uncle. "Well err, right," she adds awkwardly.

"Ah, well, I found out sometime after we kissed, so..." he scratched the back of his neck. "Can you say awkward?"

"Well, that's great. So in a sense, I turned you gay?" she asks after thinking for a moment. "I'm happy for you though, that you've found out what your true...preferences are," she adds a bit awkwardly.

"Um, well... Not... necessarily..." he says, playing with his tie. "And thank you. I'm honestly happier that I can parade around in pumps and not get as many weird looks."

Trent walks out of the great hall. As he passes he looks Dom over and winks before turning the corner.

"Yes, well...that's always a bonus," she says smiling. She notices some guy look her over and wink, and tightens her sweater around her. "Right, so yeah, umm, I think I'm going to head back to the common room. I guess I'll see you later," she says, deciding to get out of the awkward conversation and awkward hallway.

"Right then. Bye!" he said and walked away.

Colin walks out of the Great Hall and stands around for a little bit, watching some dust particles hit the sunlight. In its own way, it was really quite beautiful.

Milli skips out of the Great Hall, and sees Colin. She sneaks up behind him and covers his eyes. "Guess who?"

[I DEARLY HOPE THAT YOU DON'T MIND ME TURNING UP.]

Colin laughed, took Milli's hands off his eyes and said, "Hey Milli." He kissed her forehead. "How've you been?"

[NOT AT ALL! ]

"You're no fun," Milli pouts. "You didn't guess. I've been good. How're you?"

"I knew," he promised. "Who else would do that?" He smiled. "I'm good," Colin said, flipping his hair. "Oh! I never saw you after prom! How was it?"

"It could've been Rosmerta Prom, was...interesting."

"Interesting?" Colin asked worriedly, furrowing his brow. "Did someone hurt you?" he growled. "Did Harry become a total jerk or something?" He took her hand, a little protectively.

"No, Harry wasn't a jerk. To me..."

Colin raised an eyebrow. "And what is that supposed to mean?" he asked skeptically.
