"Of course I want you to go! But you don't have to, if you really don't want to dance with me that much." Grinning, yet nearly smirking playfully, she raised an eyebrow. "You're a Slytherin, I thought? Green and silver ARE your house colors. I'm the one who shouldn't look good in green! Gryffindor and all!" Lily grinned. "You'll look FINE. Quite dashing I bet! " Suddenly, she checked the time.
"Ah, it's late.. I should go, so sorry Sev. I sort of wanted to sleep in my own dorm, instead of the Hospital Wing...since nobody is about to die anymore, thankfully.." She met his eyes. "I hope that's alright, I mean, I could stay if you wanted company of course..."

[Oh good. So you don't hate me. Well, except for the fact that I'm James and you're Snape. Of course you hate me. But, you know, other than that.]

Severus turned a bright red at her comment, and burst out laughing. "Dashing? Sure you haven't gotten me mixed up with Potter?" he snorted, chuckling at her sweetness. As much as he wanted her to stay, he knew she wanted to leave. Oh, he wanted her to stay, to never leave his side, to stay with him forever... "No, no, it's fine. Go sleep. I should rest too." Rest? As if I could rest, with thoughts of your beauty etched in my mind. I'll never sleep again, if it means having to forget the way you look for even just a moment. "Goodnight, Lily Evans," he whispered; oh, how he loved the way her name rolled off his tongue.

[SEV YOU JUST GAVE ME AN INDIRECT COMPLEMENT! YOU CALLED ME DASHING! THE WORLD IS EEEENNNNDDDDIIIINNNGGGG!!!!]

[I forgot I was still in here. We'll pretend I was in a corner fixing bandages and not listening to you two.]

Lily smiled slightly. "Not at all, Sev, not that looks really matter to me...and alright. I'll see you, try to keep me updated on how you feel, alright?" She stood up, and brushed his hair away to give him a slight kiss on his forehead. "Feel better, Sev." Then, she gathered up her things and walked out, heading toward the common room.

[SEV! James is chewing Sirius out for being a dick to Tam. Use almighty admin powers to watch? It's pretty entertaining]

[WAIT WOAH WHAT?!?!?!?!???!!???!?!? *wishes she could see too*]

Severus let out the tiniest gasp as he felt her lips graze his forehead just the slightest bit. Merlin, the things you do to me, the way you make me feel... He watched as perfection gathered her things and left for her dormitory, forgetting that there were other people in the room. In fact, he had all but forgotten Pansy the moment Lily had spoken to him. Lily, can't you see me struggling like this? He took her sweet, if empty, words to heart, and curled up under the covers. He sighed softly, a smile lingering on his face as he drifted into the realm of dreams. Perhaps, in some twisted and demented alternate reality, he actually had something resembling a chance to be with the woman of his desires, the goddess of his heart. He could only hope.

[Goodnight, I gotta go for the night guys. See y'all tomorrow.]

Pansy laughed as Sev slipped into happy oblivion, and she took that as her cue to get up and find somewhere else to waste time. "Night Sev," she mumbled as she snuck out the door.

Remus pops his head in but see's James is gone, he sneaks in quietly and grabs Jame's books laughing quietly to himself cause he should have known James wouldn't have done any of the work. He tries to sneak back out but accidentally kicks a chair in the process. Gah, stupid chair. He makes his way to the door to leave.

Severus snapped awake at the sound of the chair hitting the ground, and looked up to see who it was. "Remus?"

Ack. Remus turned around, "Oh hi. I see you're doing better than when I was last in here. That's good." he refused to look directly at Severus so he looked at the floor. "I should probably be going now."

A wave of guilt washed over Severus as he recalled their last interaction. "Remus... wait. Please, don't go."

Remus sighed, "Why shouldn't I? All I've ever done is cause you problems Severus. If you hate me you have every right to. In fact...I'd say it was about damn time you told me you hated me after all the trouble I've caused."

[-gives bff a big huge mega awesome hug because that last post of hers was so sad- poor, silly Remus!! ]

Severus gazed at him mournfully, the sting of his words reminding Snape of all the pain he'd caused everyone lately. "Remus... I'm sorry. I didn't mean it when I said it, I swear. I was just so... I don't even know. I didn't mean it when I said it. If I could take it back, take it all back, I would."
