The Kitchens

"I'm sure you taughter your brother well," Arthur says with a smile. For some reason - maybe it's the wine or the salmon, he's feeling pretty bold; actually, it's just the feeling of knowing Molly likes him that makes Arthur feel like he rules the world. "And I'm not so sure about your brothers. I don't think they'd like me that much if they saw me do this." Arthur smiles right before gently leaning over to kiss Molly.

Molly giggles, even as she leans into the kiss and kisses Arthur back. She giggles again when she pulls away. "Maybe not. But then again, that's their problem, isn't it?" she says, moving back in to resume kissing Arthur. Gideon and Fabian would just have to learn to live with the fact that Molly is seventeen now, an adult by wizarding standards. Besides, it's not as if Gideon at least wasn't up to much more than she and Arthur are doing right now when he was Molly's age.

Arthur laughes at Molly's comment. At the moment, he feels invicible, like he could take both brothers, an army of Death Eaters, and a few snakes for good measure. He gently combs his hand through Molly's hair; it feels perfect between his fingers. He wraps his free arm around Molly's back, letting it rest above her hip.

Molly leans into the touch; it has become an automatic reflex already. She looks at Arthur, eyes brimming with affection, as they finish their stroll back to Gryffindor tower and part ways with another lingering goodnight kiss.
[I figured it was time to end it, because my brains fail everything ever and I couldn't come up with a decent post. >.>]

Arthur smiles as Molly walks away. That night, he happily dreams of baked apples and Molly, wandering around the Hogwarts grounds singing love songs. His roommates think he's strange, for he is singing aloud in his sleep.

Fred lead Gwen gallantly into the kitchens, and offered her a stool, before sitting down himself. "Erm... A pot of tea and some creampuffs please! And a few brownies too," He asked a nearby elf, who bowed obligingly and shuffled off. "So, you are going start berating me now?" He asked her.

She couldn't help herself, Gwen actually smiled at Fred. "Yes, I will. But, before I do, I would like to know why you were setting this trap for this unnamed Skytherin you seem to be so mad at." Gwen wanted to hear, she had a feeling that it would be quite entertaining to hear.

"Well, firstly, he is a Slytherin, and mostly all Slytherins deserve to be pranked." There were a few who were alright. "Secondly, he thought it would be funny to hex my while my back is turned." He still hadn't gotten over his cold fully.

Too bad the prom is over... Or is it? Was there a prom?

Gwen winced, she was quite good at hexes, and knew their effect because she had ended up on the wrong end of many. "I don't think you should generalize, it isn't logical and the generalization is almost never true." Fred's eyes were really, really blue.

Fred wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of Gwen's hexes. "Hey! I said a few were alright!" He defended himself. "I have met quite a few Slytherins, and most were quite nasty!" He rubbed his nose ruefully. "But you're right, generalizations are not logical." Gwen had a lovely face in general. [Fail, I just don't know what she looks like]

[then look at her profile picture silly! Gwen's faceclaim is Alexandra Daddario]

Gwen smiled, maybe Fred wasn't so bad after all. "I personally haven't had to deal with all that many Slytherin annoyances because as a general rule they don't hate Ravenclaw. I guess I'm lucky in that respect." She was starting to actually like him, and she noticed a cute little sprinkle of freckles across his nose and cheeks.

Fred grinned when she smiled. It was catching. "I suppose that's the downside of being a Gryffindor, although let me tell you, there aren't many." He laughed. "I suppose they admire you guys because you're smart. They value brains." If anything, besides cunning and being sly. Gwen had such nice skin.... [Has decided to steal compliments from Ron and Harry]

[OOHHH! THAT'S WHO SHE IS! I knew she looked familiar.]

Gwen laughed, Fred had an infectious smile. "I don't have many friends in Gryffindor, so I'm not sure what exactly goes on in there. You lot seem to have all of the school's pranksters well, except for Jenna Wood in Hufflepuff. Is there something going on up in Gryffindor Tower that the rest of the school needs to look out for?

Fred laughed too. "Nope, not at all. I would just suggest you don't get in the way of Lee Jordan, or my brother George if you don't appreciate being caught in the middle of any pranks!" Who else is there? Peeves? "Ah yes, Jenna. She has helped us upon occasion! She's quite nice, not at all one of those wishy washy Hufflepuffs you always hear of." He praised. Perhaps he was trying to make Gwen the least bit jealous...

[Nice try with the jealousy...Oh wait, Gwen is starting to have steam blow out of her ears and her face is turning red. Maybe it did work after all. BTW: Gwen's to shy to make the first move, it'll have to be Fred.]

Gwen nodded, trying not to let Fred know about the little green monster that was currently waging war inside her chest. "I know Jenna, we have Transfiguration and Charms together, she's my Charms partner. She's very nice, and none to shabby at the subject either." Gwen knows how to play along.

Fred is impressed by Gwen's mad skillzzz of playing along. Whatever we are pretending that the prom hasn't happened yet. "So, what are you doing tonight?" He asked her. Awkward!Post is Awkward because I've never asked anyone out or been a boy or that stuff...

Gwen smiles, but in a very different way than she smiled before, this was more gentle and timid, and oh-my-merlin-he-likes-me-too-and-I-don't-know-how-to-react kind of way. "Nothing, why?" She tucked a loose strand of wavy black hair behind her ear and looked up at Fred (he was quite tall, even sitting down) with her large, ice blue eyes.

Dammit this is killing me I'm actually texting Leo for help.

"Oh, just wondering. I don't suppose you'd be up for a midnight excursion on the grounds, would you?" Perhaps Fred will ask her then, if she agrees. I'm laughing so hard.

[Because Leo is obviously the person you go to when you want to know how to ask a girl out. I LOVE YOU LEO IN CASE YOU ARE LISTENING]

Gwen decided she was feeling a bit rebellious tonight so she decides to agree besides, it would just be her and Fred. Alone. In the castle. At night. What wasn't to like? "Sure, sounds fun." Gwen is gettin' her flirt on!

"Lovely, shall we meet at the grand staircase around 11:30?" He asked her. He hopes so...
[I gotta go, be back by noon. Shall we have the midnight scene then?]

Gwen nodded, excitement for the coming night already building. [Whoah there, I didn't mean for that to sound so dirty.]
"Sure thing. I'll see you then."

[I have a class thingy at school from 1:15-3:15 so I have to go at about 12:30 ish but we can still start the scene and then continue later on.]

[Is back sooner than expected. We could either continue this scene, or meet at the grand staircase. You choose!]
