The Come And Go Room

Draco walked into the room of requirement with his bag, setting it down gently on the table he had made appear. The room looked a lot like the room in the manor that he and Pansy had found except with a lot more floor space in the back of it. He pulled out the two vials and a pice of parcement. He quickly wrote her a note,

Pansy,
Got the potion. In the RoR now.
Draco

Pansy walked up to the hallway where the Room of Requirement was, walking past the wall three times before the door appeared and she slipped quickly inside. "Hi, got your letter. So it's all ready to go?" She was obviously excited, but trying to contain herself as she looked at the vials in his hands.

Draco smiled at her and put the vials on the table, "Hello, yes it is." He walked over to her and pulled her into a hug and a kiss. "I'm glad you're so excited about this. Now I talked this over with Slughorn and he's checked the potion so it is right and won't poison us. All you have to do is go to the empty space and drink it then within about 30 seconds you'll transform into the animal you would be as an animagus then you have about 10 minutes like that before you change back. Got it?"

Pansy shrugged and picked up one of the vials, looking at it. "Alright. Ready then?" She popped the lid off and walked over to the empty area, standing in the middle of it. "Here goes nothing..." She lifted the little bottle, glanced at Draco to be sure it was okay, and drank it. She waited, not really feeling any different. It made her shake all over for a fraction of a second, like a cold chill, but then she was just standing there, still Pansy. She blinked a time or two, and it was like the room was growing taller and a second later she was on the ground, on all fours, as a lanky black kitten with tawny yellow eyes. She looked up at him, realizing that her legs felt quite springy, as if she could jump incredible heights as compared to her body size. After taking a few steps and figuring out this whole four legs thing, she bounded across the room and leapt onto the back of the couch, amused by her claws as she flexed them in and out.

Draco nodded at her as she drank the potion and watched her carefully. All of a sudden she was shrinking and transforming. He had to laugh when it was complete, seemed he was right after all. Her first couple of steps were shaky but he was very impressed when she managed to land on the sofa back properly the first time. He reached out and held out his hand to her. "Hello beautiful," he moved so that he could sit on the sofa and gently ran a hand over her head and back, watching as she flexed her claws, kneading the back of the couch.

Pansy closed her eyes and arched her back against his hand. If cats could roll their eyes, she would have at him calling her beautiful, but cats can't move their eyes, so she didn't. Of course he'd call her that as a cat. When he sat on the sofa, she climbed up onto his shoulder, crawling across to the other side and tickling his neck with her tail as she did. She leapt down off his shoulder onto the couch, taking a look around the room, amazed by how different it looked from her cat eyes. She turned to Draco again, stepping up onto his lap and putting her front paws on his chest to press her little nose against his, her tail flicking back and forth a little. A moment later, she was leaping over his shoulder onto the back of the couch again, bounding along it and jumping up onto the mantle of the fireplace. She stepped carefully over and around the things that were displayed up there.

Draco smirked in amusement as Pansy walked around the back of his neck, chuckling as she pressed her wet nose to his. He scratched gently between her ears before she was off again, weaving her way over the mantlepiece. He stood up and went over to her. When she reached the end he reached out and carefully picked her up, cradling her in his arms so that she could still see everything in front of them and over his shoulder if she wanted to. He sat back on the sofa and ran his fingers over the soft fur on her belly. She was so adorable and cuddly as a kitten.

Pansy meowed softly when he picked her up, an acceptable kitten substitute for wanting to smirk. She purred happily as he petted her, well that sounds quite sexual, good thing she actually is a cat right now being actually petted, and not any of that silly metaphor nonsense that could be happening. She curled up a little, rearranging herself in his lap so she was snuggled in closer to his warmth, taking full advantage of actually being able to snuggle like a kitten as a kitten. She continued her happy soft purrs as she looked up at him, blinking sleepily.

Draco chuckled as she curled up properly in his lap, purring with her eyes closing slightly. He kept stroking her, enjoying the silkiness of her fur and the gentle purring beneath his fingertips. Now he really wanted to know what he was going to turn into. After what seemed like only seconds his wand beeped letting him know they only had about 30 seconds left before she could transform back. He gently picked her up off his lap and put her down in the middle of the open space before backing away slightly, watching carefully to see if she needed any help.

Pansy stopped purring when he finally picked her up and put her back in the open space. She had sort of enjoyed being a kitten. Sure, she did her normal things for the most part, she supposed, only as a kitten it was expected from her and that was rather nice. She waited, and she grew taller again, finding that her nose itched a bit but other than that she felt completely fine. She blinked a few times and looked at her hands and such, finding that all was quite normal. "That was fun. Now your turn?" She walked over toward him, kissing him on the end of the nose softly before handing him the other vial and waiting by the couch to see what he would become.

[Alright, it's an hour later than I intended to go to bed and I need to be up and functional tomorrow earlyyy. So I'm off to sleep now. Reply tomorrow morning after I get back from my final.]

Draco sighed with relief when she turned back into a normal sized human and smiled when she gave him a kiss on the nose as she passed. "It looked fun," he took the vial from her and moved to the middle of the space. After looking at it for a moment he took the cork out and raised the vial to her, "Here goes." He quickly swallowed the liquid and waited, less than five seconds later he could feel himself changing, shifting down until all of a sudden he was standing all all four legs, obviously not as small as Pansy had been as he could still see over the arm of the sofa. He walked over to one of the walls and looked into the mirror there. Looking back at him were his own grey eyes only this time in the face of a rather large white wolf. He turned to face her and looked at her, opening his mouth and letting out what sounded like a series of barking yips. He wasn't quite sure how it must sound to her but he knew in his mind that he meant to say "Well this is interesting."

Pansy watched him shrink down and morph until he stood there as a wolf, purest white with silver eyes, the same that he'd had as a human. She laughed as he went to a mirror to look at himself, and she walked up behind him and ran her hand over his head. Laughing as he made barking noises, she shrugged at him. "Draco, I've no idea what you just said, so I'll just nod and smile instead." She sat down on the ground next to him, smiling as she looked at him as a wolf, and realizing just how much she wanted a dog. She petted his head and ran her hand along his shoulders and back, scratching him behind the ears. "You make a handsome wolf, you know."

Draco wished at that moment that wolves could smirk but they can't so instead he settled for nudging her shoulder with his nose and licking her cheek. He stepped around her and walked around for a bit, getting used to being such a large animal and, after knocking over some books, adjusting to a tail. He turned to look at it, wondering why it was moving so much when he was trying to get it to stay still. He moved his gaze from his tail to Pansy and went back over to her, putting his paws up on her shoulders and knocking her over. He stood over her and barked again, still wishing wolves could smirk.

Pansy picked up the books he knocked over, not able to stand the idea of one of them possibly getting messed up. She laughed as he stared incredulously at his tail hoping he would at least not start chasing it. She tried to stay upright when he put his paws on her shoulders, but he was a big animal, mostly muscle, and she was just Pansy. She fell over backward and he ended up standing over her, and she laughed as he barked again, knowing it was driving him crazy to not have his usual facial expressions. She reached up and scratched behind his ears, pushing him to the side a little so she could sit up again. She wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face in his fur, sighing happily as she hugged the warm canine version of her boyfriend.

Draco obligingly moved over when she shoved at him, letting her sit up and cuddle into him. Well he guessed he made an even better heater like this than he did as a human. He had to admit that this time being an animal felt almost right as compared to when Moody had transfigured him. Maybe it was all to do with his mind being more in tune with this form. He turned his head to nuzzle her and sniff her hair before wriggling free and wandering around the room again, sniffing everything. It was incredible having wolf senses, he stuck his nose under the couch then used his paw to pull out some old parchment and a quill. He pawed at it for a moment before he was off walking around again, examining everything through this new perspective.

Pansy smiled and watched him wander around the room, sniffing and pawing at things and really being just generally doglike. There wasn't a lot of time left for him to be a wolf, which was sort of unfortunate because it looked like he was enjoying it, and she was rather amused with him in that form. She walked over to him and kissed his wolfy head before giving him a last good pet. "Your time's almost up, just so you know and don't end up with your head somewhere you found interesting as Draco the wolf but you'll regret as Draco the human." She laughed and sat down beside the big empty space, watching him and waiting while he enjoyed his last few minutes of wolfiness.

Draco barked an affermative as she kissed his head and mentioned not getting his head stuck. It really wouldn't be good at all to change back with his head under the couch so he took one last good sniff under each of the couches and found a chocolate under one before he moved back over to the big open space and sat down just as his wand beeped. It took a moment before he felt the change but all of a sudden he was back, sitting on the floor looking at Pansy. "Wow, that was amazing." He already missed the smells and sounds and having a tail.

Pansy smiled at him and went to offer him her hand to stand up. "It was, wasn't it? So weird, but really cool. I can see why people want to take the time to become an animagus. It would be cool." She walked over to the couch and sat down, picking up the chocolate, quill, and parchment he'd found under the couch and sitting it on the coffee table. "That was fun. I'm glad you made that and we got to try it."

He nodded, accepting her hand to get up and sat down next to her. "I loved it. It was so different from last time." It had set him thinking, now he knew his form it felt as though the logical next step was to do sole research and possibly look into actually becoming an animagus, legally or illegally. He smiled at her and put an arm around her, "So kitten it seems your nickname is even more apprpritate now," he kissed her cheek and laughed, still amused at her adorable little form.

Pansy mock glared at him when he told her that her nickname was even more appropriate now. "Yeah, yeah, I guess so." She flopped over into his lap, looking up at him with a small smirk. "Yours makes sense too. I wasn't sure before, but now that we've seen you're a wolf, it seems only logical that that's what you'd be." She reached up and fixed his hair a bit. "I like wolves."

Draco smiled as she flopped into his lap and his fingers moved to card through her hair. "I guess it does. I liked it, it felt right being like that, and i think I could adjust to a tail." He smiled as she fixed his hair, "I like cats so I think it worked out perfectly didn't it." He traced a finger over her cheek and touched the end of her nose, "Also you have a very wet and cold nose as a cat."

Pansy smiled at him and sat up. "Well good thing it's not cold and wet now, or else doing this would be much less enjoyable." She leaned forward and pressed her lips to his, her hand moving to rest on the back of his neck. She moved her mouth almost lustfully against his, as they hadn't been properly alone together for a few days now, and she'd missed the moments like this. It almost amazed her how patient he was with her. Sure, she knew how things had gone with Astoria, and she had wondered if he would be expecting the same from her. But he hadn't gone further than kissing her so far, and it was comforting. She wasn't sure how long that would last, if it was just the result of the shaky way in which they'd started out and how they keep having their little fights, but either way, it was nice to just be able to kiss him whenever she felt like it.

Draco wrapped his arms better around her, somewhat surprised by her enthusiasm but definitely not complaining. They had barely had any time together recently and what little they had had was marred by his killing of Toby. Kissing Pansy was always a delight and always something new. She was one of the few people who always surprised him and kept him guessing yet at the same time could always be relied on for comfort and familiarity. It was a mix that made her invaluable as both a friend and as a girlfriend. His fingers moved up to wrap in her hair, holding her closer.

Pansy kissed him a while longer, not deepening it, just enjoying it as it was. As she required it, the temperature of the room warmed slightly, and she pressed closer to Draco, pulling away from his mouth. She smirked slightly, seeing his lips a little pink and swollen, glad it seemed that they could get at least a little back to normal, moving past the Toby incident. She sighed softly and leaned back into the couch next to him, turning to rest her head on his chest and wrap an arm around his middle as she relaxed there perfectly comfortable. She grabbed a blanket that appeared as she wanted it beside her, tugging it up over her shoulder. Before Draco could say anything, she grinned up at him and laughed. "Shhh, just keep me warm."

Draco felt the temperature of the room rise as they were kissing and smirked back at her when she pulled away. He opened his mouth to comment when she pulled a blanket over herself but instead chuckled when she spoke and pressed a kiss to the side of her head. "Always Pans," he wrapped his arm better around her and put his other down to rest on hers that was wrapped around his middle. "I don't know how you're cold though, I think it's just an excuse to cuddle."
