The Library

It took Rose longer to find this clue, but she eventually located the right section, somewhereabouts the middle off the library. She was so excited about the clue that she didn't even notice for a moment that this section was full of Quibblers. When she did noticed, she beamed and tried her very best to resist the urge to leaf through ALL of them. Speaking of all of them... Yep! It was EVERY single edition! She made a mental note to never leave the library ever again, but only after she figured out where this clue led to. The shallows. Aha. Site of the first Rouis date. This had to be good.

Demelza walked into the library, picked up a book at random and sat down and started to read it.

*Hermione rushes into the Library, feeling strange to be without Kiora as she hasn't been separated from her for longer than it takes to have a shower since her birth. But she really needs that advanced Transfiguration book, and Remus is more than happy to spend some time bonding with his daughter, so here she is. She rushes over to the correct shelf and begins scanning titles. It's not there.*

Bugger.

*She turns and looks around at the nearby tables. She spots Demelza at one, some scattered books that she doesn't seem to be reading spread on the surface. Taking a few steps closer, she spots the title she's after. She smiles and points to it.*

Hey, Demelza, are you using that book?

"No, I'm not. It was just here when I got here and I wasn't quite sure where it went so I just left it."

*Hermione smiles with relief and snags the book. Then she realizes she's being rude.*

So, how are you?

"I'm pretty good, what about you?"

*Hermione chuckles.*

Busy. But good. I thought I was all prepared for my assignments for the rest of the term, but I wanted to cross check a few facts before I submitted my final Transfiguration paper, so, here I am! What's that book - study or pleasure?

"Just for pleasure seeming as I have already finished my assignments that are due."

*Hermione flops into a chair with a little moan*

I can't remember the last time I had a chance to read for pleasure! I've been working so hard to get all my assignments finished early. I'm so jealous of you right now...

"It's been a while since I've had the chance. It's good to be able to just relax and read."

It is. I prefer the Muggle classics myself, how about you?

"I like reading wizard and muggle books."

*Hermione shrugs*

I admit, I haven't really read any wizard fiction. While I'm here, the magical theory is just too fascinating for me... But there's something comforting and familiar about my old muggle books, you know?

"Yeah, I've read some wizard fiction but I like muggle books better."

Do you have a favourite author? Personally, I'm partial to a little Shakespeare, but I like to read whatever I can get my hands on!

*Hermione smiles.*

"No, I don't really have a favorite author, I like most authors."

Yeah... although I find some Jane Austen completely unreadable. I couldn't stand Emma, but some of her others are just brilliant!

"I havn't really read any Jane Austen, but she sounds like a good author."

*Hermione nods enthusiastically.*

I suggest you start with Pride and Prejudice - it's usually the one people most enjoy!

"Ok, I'll get onto that soon."

*Hermione looks at her watch. Has she really been away for that long? Damn. She promised she'd only be a little while.*

I've got to run. I'll see you around, Demelza.

"Ok, see you Mya."

*She leaves.*
