The Hospital Wing: Main Ward

"The truth?" He asked and took a deep breath. "The truth is that I am scared." he said and shrugged. "I'm scared to have any feelings for you."

Her head snapped up, a pain shot down her spine but she ignored it. She stared at him, hardly daring to believe the words. "You're scared? Scared of what?" He heart was racing. Could he really have feelings for her? There was no way. Good things never happened to her.

"I'm scared...that I'll fall for you." he said honestly and then looked away, over at the wall on the opposite side of the Hospital Wing.

She stared at him with her mouth open. She really had no idea at all what to say to that. "Oh..." That was not the answer she expected. Not at all. "Well..."

He glanced back over at her and then looked away and mumbled a small. "Yeah."

"So...um..What happens now?" She wondered if he actually would leave Andi for her. She doubted it, but she was already shocked by one of his answers, maybe it would happen again.

"What do you mean what happens now?" He asked, turning back and looking at her confused.

"Are....are you staying with her?" She couldn't look at him now, truly terrified by what he might say.

"Well...I can't just leave her." He mumbled quietly.

She felt angry. "That's bullshit! Why the hell not!" She didn't realize she had shouted at him.

He looked at her in shock and still spoke calmly. "I'm not just going to say to her, I think I found someone better." he said, staring at her. "I'm not a complete jerk."

"Really? You had me fooled!" She was beyond angry. "It had to have been her that did this to me! You know that right?" She was glaring at him, and suddenly felt exhausted.

"Millicent, You don't know that." he said, staring at her. "It could have been someone else, there are tons of other people in this school."

"Who would want to hurt me though. She's the only one. I don't have any other enemies besides her. It's not that hard to figure out. I know what this is about. It's because she's a Black, and I'm a nobody!" Her voice was still raised.

"Millicent, would you calm down?" He asked, leaning closer and staring right at her. "You have no proof it was her."

"I just happen to go looking for her then I turn up in the hospital wing without any memory of what happened. That doesn't seem odd to you? I'm not an idiot." Her breathing became fast and heavy.

"Millicent. Please calm down. Okay. Just relax, because if you're going to freak out at me when I am here, I'm just going to leave." He said sternly.

"Is that what you want?" She desperately wanted him to stay. "I just wish you would see how shitty this is!" She wasn't shouting anymore, but she was still breathing heavily.

"Millicent, Just. Relax. Okay? Listen to you...You sound like you can barely breathe!" He said a bit dramatically. "You need rest before you hurt yourself. Okay?"

"I don't care if I hurt myself." She glared. "Don't tell me to relax. I can't take this anymore."

"Millicent. If you don't calm down I WILL get up and leave." He said, looking at her with a stern look that said I am not joking little missy.

Part of her wanted to beg him to stay, another part wanted to shout at him to leave and never come back. "Turning into me now?" Of course she was talking about how she always ran when things became a little too much for her to handle.

"No...because I'll actually give a warning before I leave, I won't just kiss you and run off." he said with a slight smile.

She glared at him. "You know how this works. We fight, it's what we do. You have to realize what you're doing to me! It's crap!"

He stared at her and then looked away. "I'm not doing anything to you on purpose, Millicent."
