Hospital Wing

[Just for a notice, Lily's been in and out of the room to try and give them as much privacy as possible but really wants to me her bff's baby girl, but only once their cute family moment is over....er...maybe.]

[LILS when were both on next, pop back in! XX00 Remikins I love you and Imma come rescue you, k? I'm pissed at Andrew today, so we can totally go on a Thelme & Louise style road trip right? Except without the flying ending....]

*Since neither are online, Lily has popped out for now and Remus is having a shower or something.... Hermione's holding the baby and all that mothery shit*

Ange ran into the HW because she had heard the news about Mya having the baby. "Mya?" she called and whirled around looking for her

*Hermione looks up and smiles at her first online-at-the-same-time visitor. She calls out softly so as not to disturb the sleeping baby.*

Hey, Ange...

she smiled, seeing Mya, and rushed over. "Mya!" she tried to be quiet when she noticed the sleeping baby. "oh my gosh she's gorgeous!"

*Hermione grins.*

Isn't she? This is Kiora....

she smiled widely at her friend "Kiora...that's a beautiful name. Mya, she's absolutely beautiful. Congratulations honey"

*Hermione would look up a little more, but she's kind of captivated. It's a few moments before she remembers to be polite.*

Take a seat, Ange - tell me what I've been missing out there.... Is everybody getting excited over prom?

she laughed and sat down in a chair by Mya's bed "I think a lot of people are excited yeah...I'm real excited to go with George" she smiled and absently played with the ring on her finger "I've been talking to Viktor a lot, uhhh Dean and Dom had a fight...that's about all I know."

*She glances up*

You and George make an amazing couple, you know. And I'm glad you're there for Viktor - I think he got a little sick of my force-feeding habits!

*Her face falls when she hears about Dean and Dom.*

Oh, I hope they work it out. I thought they were so great together!

she laughed at Mya's comment about Viktor "yea he just needs friends right now...I dunno, he's kinda become a little bit like a brother for me i think. it's weird. as for Dean and Dom, I hope so too." she looked down and realized she hadn't told Mya about the ring yet. "Mya...look" she smiled shyly and brought up her hand to show her the ring

*In a move she suspects she's going to get very practiced at, very quickly, Hermione shifts the weight of the baby to one arm so she can reach a hand out, holding Ange's fingers in place while she inspects the ring.*

Is that what I think it is!? Ange, it's stunning!

she smiled and let Mya look at the ring "well, it's not an ENGAGEMENT ring...it's just a...a promise ring" she smiled even bigger

*Hermione grins again, her hand releasing Ange's to cradle the baby again.*

It's beautiful. I'm happy for you. So, you have a dress for prom, right? I don't even know if we'll make it now!

[WOAH. VIKTOR WILL NEED TO MEET THE CUB SOON. JUST SAYING.]

"thanks" she smiled and gazed at the adorable little Kiora in Mya's arms. "I have a dress. it's not very "Prom-like" but i like it a lot."

[come now if you like, I have at least 1/2 an hour left on break! ]

Well, if I don't get to see it in person, I do expect pictures you know! I bet you'll look smashing in anything!

she smiled "thanks Mya, I hope you can go! Although I completely understand you guys have a LOT on your plate right now" she laughed

*Hermione chuckles.*

Yeah, might be just a bit busy. But I think if we can go, we will. Just for a little while. End of seventh year and all, this'll be our last chance to go to a school dance together. We haven't even been to one together yet!

[Hmmm...I was going to go to bed OK!]

Viktor walks in because he heard it through the grapevine that the cub was born. He sees Mya and smiles widely as he walks over. "Vot kind of friend vould I be if I didn't come to see my best friend and her baby - girl," he adds quickly as he sees the kid is not a boy like Mya thought. He turns to smile at Ang to say a quick hello before turning back to Mya, still grinning. "She's beautiful Herm-own-ninny. Vot's her name?"

Ange gasped "no way! that's so weird. you guys have like, the longest relationship of anyone here!" she laughed

*Hermione grins, vaguely wonders how Viktor can even tell the difference because all newborns look kinda... squishy.... and half hopes he'll have fun trying to pronouce this name.*

*She shrugs lightly at Ange.*

It's just never worked out for us and dances... maybe it's a sign. We are both terrible dancers, you know.

she laughed and smiled at Viktor as he entered "hey Vik" she sighed. "Mya I really should get going. i have some last minute homework to finish, but i'll come back alright?" she stood up
