The Room of Requirement

Draco listened to her speak, unable to do anything but smile. He let her take his hand then put them around her, his fingers locking together behind her back. He stood there as she said his name over and over again, his hand rising up to rest on her cheek. As she finished he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers slowly and sweetly before pulling back. "I love you so much Pansy, I always will." He leaned in and kissed her again, one hand on the small of her back, the other brushing up her jaw to slip around the back of her head, the kiss conveying all the emotions they had just expressed to each other.

Pansy couldn't stop smiling at him after she finished talking, after he kissed her, after he said he would always love her, and even into the second kiss. She could not have stopped smiling for anything in the world. A few moments later she pulled back again, the lights in the room dropping a little darker with the mood as she stood there just looking up at him with nothing but love and adoration in her eyes. "I cannot even describe how happy I am with you." She kissed him again quickly before slipping from his arms, taking his hand and pulling him over toward their little table. "Hungry? Well, of course you are. You always are." Laughing, picked up the box he had brought with him and sat it off to the side, since that was for after dinner.

Draco smiled as she pulled back and held onto her hand as she led him over to the small table. He pulled out her chair for her to sit and leaned down, pressing a kiss to the side of her neck before moving around to sit opposite her. "This is wonderful," he couldn't stop smiling and reached across the table to hold her hand for a moment. "So what's in that little box? I've had to resist opening it all day."

Pansy was still smiling as she took a seat, touching his cheek lightly when he kissed her neck, and letting him take her hand after he sat down. "Just dessert. Nothing too crazy, but it needed to stay cool a little longer and this room was too warm for it, so I figured you should be good for something." She shrugged and sighed, as if he were some kind of useless lump of a boyfriend, far from the truth. "So you like the shirt? Either that or you're just appeasing me by wearing it. I thought you would look nice in it. And you do."

Draco chuckled, "Glad I could help then. And now I'm really curious." His mind was running through potential things that could have had to be kept cool all day and would have fit in the box. "And I do like the shirt, good colour choice." He took his hand back and smiled down at their food, his foot reaching out to brush over hers, the same way it had all that time ago in the small bistro.

"It's nothing too exciting, so don't get all jumpy over it." She smiled at him, putting her hand in her lap after he let go of it. "Well, dinner..." she said shyly, pushing a large plate toward him, "isn't really special. But you said you wanted me to make you shepherd's pie sometime. So don't expect it to be anything amazing, but I made it." Smiling a little, she nudged her foot back against his playfully, remembering their silent little game in the bistro.

Draco smiled and took her hand from across the table, "Thank you. I'm sure it'll be amazing." He picked up his fork and took a bite, smiling at her and scooping up another. "It's delicious Pans." He nudged her fork towards her with the side of her hand, "and you can't leave me eating it all alone." He feet wrapped around one of her ankles as he took another bite.

Pansy watched nervously as he ate a few bites, smiling again when he said it was delicious. "Thanks." She picked up her fork with her free hand and ate a couple small bites, wiggling her foot that was trapped between his. "Oh, there's bread too. But I didn't make that." She laughed, unwrapping a white cloth sitting in a basket, showing him the big piece of warm bread inside.

Draco laughed and took a piece, mopping up some of the sauce with it. "I would be shocked if you had. I'm impressed you managed to pull all this together today." He ate some more of the pie, glad they were having this private evening together, his mind still reeling over what she had said, and even more glad that they were seeing sides of each other that they had kept hidden from everyone up until this point.

Pansy looked at him, making a rather shocked expression. "Hey, are you doubting my awesome skills?" She let go of his hand, crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes at him. "I think you are. Well, see if I ever make you dinner again." She smiled at him, clearly not meaning it. She wriggled her foot free from between his, putting her small feet lightly on top of his with a smile, though she was looking at her plate as if she hadn't done anything. One hand resting on her own knee, she ate some more of her dinner quietly, as he was eating his. Her hand that was on her own knee snuck over to his, using two fingers to walk from his knee up his thigh a little ways.

Draco laughed as she pulled her hand away and shook his head, taking another bite of the great pie. He was enjoying having the time to relax with her, act however they wanted with no one watching. As her fingers trailed up his leg he reached down to meet them with his own, hooking a finger behind them and tugging gently before putting them back on his leg, slightly higher than before, and letting go, stretching out so his feet were resting under her chair.

Pansy couldn't help smiling as his hand snuck down to catch hers as it snuck along his leg. She had sat her fork down by now, done with her dinner and just waiting on him to get his fill. Her fingers, higher than where they had stopped, continued walking up his leg, though as they got further up to where she nearly couldn't reach she paused, her hand flattening out a bit on his leg. Her fingers squeezed a little, wrapping around his thigh as she smirked up at him. Her thin fingers slipped down a little toward his inner thigh, and she looked off into the rest of the room as if nothing at all was happening.

Draco resisted the urge to slide down further in his chair to give her further to reach but instead he finished up what he wanted of the pie and then put down his fork and reached down beneath the table to take her hand in his. He stood up and pulled her up to stand with him, requiring the room to move the table to the side and start to play quiet music behind them. He tugged gently on her arm, and pulled her in, wrapping his arms around her waist and slowly dancing with her to the music.

Pansy looked back at him as he took her hand, surprised that he didn't encourage her to keep reaching. Narrowing her eyes curiously, she stood up with him and followed him to stand in the newly cleared space of the room. A smile grew on her face as music started playing, and she stepped close to him, pressing her body into his as she put her hands around the back of his neck and swayed along with him. She closed her eyes for a second, resting her forehead against his chest for just a moment until she straightened again, her feet moving along with his wherever he guided her.

Draco smiled and wrapped his arms more around her as they danced to the music, twirling slowly around the room. As the music ended he brought them to a halt and as she stood up straight he leaned down, pressing his lips to hers in a tender kiss. His hand moved up her back, brushing the bare skin as his fingers reached the bottom of her hair and the other stayed wrapped around her waist, holding her close to him.

Pansy couldn't look away from him as they danced, following him wherever he lead her around the room, only really concentrating on his eyes. She felt slightly dizzy when they stopped, though she wasn't sure if it was because of the dancing or something else. Kissing him, she arched her back a little in response to his touch, her hips held close against his while her back and shoulders curved away from him slightly, chills rushing over her back as his fingers grazed her bare skin. She took an unsteady step backward and her shoulder blades met the wall, and though they were covered in light draped curtains, the cold of the stone still gave her a cold chill, her body trembling for a moment against his.

Draco stepped with her when she moved backwards, his hands still holding her as he felt her body shiver. He pulled back from the kiss to look at her for a moment, her lips slightly parted and her eyes looking up at his. He leaned down for another soft kiss before stepping back, pulling her from the wall, and moving back to the couch, requiring it longer and wider as sat back and pulled her down with him.

Pansy opened here eyes to look up at him when he pulled away, the corners of her mouth turning up slightly. She followed him to the couch, sitting down beside him. "Oh." She shifted a little to pick up what she'd sat on, laughing as she remembered throwing the tiny box onto the couch for later perhaps. It was a box of cards that they used to play with when they were little, a bit like go fish, but a wizard version of the game. "Remember this?" She laughed, holding it up for him to see.

Draco laughed and took the box from her, pulling the cards out and shuffling them, flicking through the pictures. "Yes, of course I do." He grinned as he looked through the pictures, "We played with these so many times, I wonder if we still have the original pack somewhere." He laughed then remembered something. He smirked and reached out, grabbing the little box he had carried in with him. "So can I open this now?"

Pansy grinned back, taking the little box from him when he reached for the one he had brought with him. "Oh yeah!" She excitedly got up and went to the table, grabbing forks for them and then jumping over the back of the couch to sit beside him again, forgetting that she was in a short little tight dress. Whoops. "Alright, go ahead." She passed him a fork, excited for their dessert. Inside he would find a big piece of tiramisu, and two chocolate covered strawberries.

Draco was too busy untying the bow around the box to notice her skirt riding up which was quite a pity but he did notice how when she sat down her hemline was much higher than it had been before. He took the fork from her with an appreciative look before popping off the lid and smiling. "Tiramisu! And chocolate strawberries." He leaned over and pressed a kiss to her cheek, "This is great." He stuck his fork in and took a bite, letting out a happy groan as the coffee, chocolate and cream flavours spread over his tongue.

If it's higher than before then damn, because that was pretty short to begin with. So be it. Pansy smiled at him, taking a bite of the tiramisu as well, looking at him out of the side of her eyes as he ate, glad that he liked it too. As he had one bite halfway to his mouth, she leaned over and ate it off his fork before he could, wrinkling her nose and shaking her head at him tauntingly, victoriously.

Draco pulled a face from her and moved the box to one side, holding it out of her reach. "Pans, that's not very nice of you. You're not allowed to do that to me, I wanted that particular bite." He pouted at her and nudged her knee with his own. "I expect you to make it up to me you know. Somehow you will have to compensate for that lost piece of tiramisu."

"Oh really?" She asked him with an incredulous look. "And how exactly do you propose that I make it up to you for stealing that," she leaned over to look at him, her mouth close to his ear and jaw as she crooned, "really, really delicious, wonderful piece of tiramisu." Her lips slowly curled into a smile, tilting her head to look up at him, trying to tug the box back toward her so she could steal another bite.

Draco held his arm tight out there, making sure she couldn't get to the tiramisu. He turned his face and kissed her neck, his teeth grazing over the skin there as she pulled on his arm. "I'm not sure how but I'm sure you'll think of some way." He waited until she moved back a little and the moved up to give her a kiss.
