The Hallway

[omg sorry. fucking internet. BLAH]

Ange was walking down the hall from her shower as George ran smack into her "hey!" she fell backwards, almost to the ground

He blushed. "Sorry I ran out on you so suddenly..I forgot my wand." he said holding it up feebly.

she shook her head and smiled "only my boyfriend..." she wrapped her arms around his waist

George smiled. "Only my gorgeous girlfriend could love me."

she laughed "too true. don't forget that." she was almost too serious about her last comment, and she proceeded to look at the ground

He hugged her. "I don't think I ever could." he frowned as he thought of the engagement ring he'd bought her. "It's impossible."

she looked back up at him and smiled "good. because i do love you. should we head back to the common room? after magically having clean clothes?"

He nodded and grabbed her hand before walking off.

Padma wandered down the hallway, flicking the hair out of her face. She was limply holding a book in her hand as she paused for a moment, looking out the window.

Marcus was walking down the hallway and noticed a girl he had once met....she was Penny's friend. He walked up next to her. "Hey...Uhh, Parvati, right?"

Padma turned around. "No, actually," she said, smiling at the boy. "I'm Padma, Parvati's twin. Who are you?"

He smiled at her slightly. "Oh...My bad. I'm Marcus..."

"No, it's fine! It's why we're identical." Padma grinned. "Well then, nice to meet you Marcus! So you know Parvati, then?"

He smiled at her and laughed slightly "It's nice to meet you too, and yes...I do know Parvati."

"I don't suppose she's hit on you, by chance?" Padma asked wryly. "She does that a lot... It's really weird, it's almost like we're polar opposites sometimes." She laughed humorlessly.

"Oh, Ummm. No." He laughed slightly. "Actually, she is friends with my girlfriend, and that's how we met."

"Ohh, OK, good," Padma said, laughing a little. "So which House are you in?" And she is ignoring the colors on Marcus's outfit because she is not very observant right now.

He laughed and smiled at her. "I'm a Slytherin... you?"

"Ravenclaw," she responded. "Neutral!" she exclaimed, thinking of the Gryffindor-Slytherin rivalry.

He laughed slightly. "Yeah, I suppose it is. So what year are you? Sixth?" He guessed

"Yeah, how'd you guess?" Padma asked, grinning. "What about you?"

"Well, my girlfriend is a sixth year and so I just assumed Parvati was a sixth year too which would make you a sixth year." He smiled "I am also a sixth year."

"Oh," Padma said, laughing. "Well good deduction skills!" After looking around, she said, "Oh, I'm really sorry Marcus, I've gotta run, but hopefully I'll see you soon!" Waving goodbye, she skipped away.

"Okay, I'll see you around." He said as he waved slightly to her and walked back to the common room.

Percy walked down the hallway and leaned against the wall. He took off his Prefect badge to admire it and polish it. He had to look professional after all.
