The Hallway

[I hope you're happy.]

Oliver walked down the hallway, just finishing up a long practice from quidditch, he was out a little late past curfew.

Percy looked up when he heard footsteps. "What are you doing out so late, Wood?" He stood up straight and fixed his badge, looking straight at Oliver. Being Quidditch captain seemed to make him think that the rules didn't apply to him anymore.

"I was practicing. Quidditch." Oliver was talking to Percy like he was four years old. "You know, that sport that everyone else in your family seems to be able to play. Everyone. But. You." Oliver pushed Percy towards the wall.

Percy gulped. There was just something about Oliver pushing him up against the wall. He took a deep breath. Keep calm Percy. "Oliver. You may be Quidditch captain, but there are rules..."

"You're such a prick Percy." Oliver punched the wall right beside Percy's head. "Don't you ever have fun?"

Percy gently put his hands on Oliver's chest and pushed him away lightly. "I have fun. I just know my priorities, and I want to have a career after Hogwarts, therefore I follow the rules and focus on my schoolwork."

Oliver looked down at Percy who was shorter than him. "No wonder you have no friends. Here you are." Oliver started to walk around the hall. "At night, by yourself, while most guys are hanging out talkin' bout girls, quidditch, and if you're Dean the FIFA world cup.." Oliver snickered a little bit. "And here you are.. all alone.. in the hallway.. shining your badge." Oliver turned back to Percy. "Percy the Prick doesn't have a dick." Oliver laughed a booming laugh.

Percy scowled, although he did feel a bit hurt by Oliver's words. He had no idea why he wanted Oliver's approval but he hated that Oliver just didn't like him. Maybe it had something to do with the way his hair, or the way his muscles showed through his tight shirt, or the way his arse looked when he turned around. "Oliver-- I really don't want to take points from my own house, but if you don't cut this out-- this sneaking around past curfew, I'll have no other choice."

"No wonder no one in Griffyndor house like you. You little shit." Oliver leant against the wall. "Betray Griffyndor like that trying to win the house cup. If I knew any better I'd think you're trying to make us lose." Oliver stood back up and walked over to Percy.

"It's not that I want us to lose. I just can't give special privileges to my own house." He tensed as Oliver walked over to him. "Just-- try not to be so late next time, okay?" he said, his voice softer now. He really didn't want to fight with Oliver.

"I won't promise." Oliver was enjoying pissing Percy off. "Infact," Oliver puts his hand on Percy's chest and pins him on the wall. "I'm not ready to go back to the dorms yet Percy." Oliver leaned over with Percy still pinned and whispered. "Whatcha gonna do Weasley?"

Percy felt his face heat up and turn pink as Oliver's hands pressed against his chest. "Oliver, I'm a Prefect and you will do well to respect that," he said, his voice shaky.

"Why should I listen to you Weasley." Oliver was still whispering in Percy's ear. Oliver twisted his hand to grab the fabric of Percys shirt.

Percy bit his lip. He couldn't take much more of this. "That," he said as he pushed Oliver off of him, his face red as a quaffle now, "is quite enough Wood. Back to your dorm. Now."

Oliver winked playfully at Percy. "Not yet Percy. I don't want to." Oliver poked Percy's chest. "Poor poor Percy. Can't do shit."

"So what? You're just going to stand here all night?" he asked, folding his arms across his chest.

"Hmm.. I could shower, I could practice more. I could do anything."

Percy tried not to think about the images of Oliver in the showers after a long practice. "Oliver Wood. 10 points from Gryffindor. I've given you enough warnings."

"Fine. I'm off to bed." Oliver took off his shirt and tucked it in his back pocket. "Good night Weasley. " Oliver stood in front of Percy.

Percy's eyes absentmindedly wandered down Oliver's chest, admiring the defined muscles that were right in front of him. "Right-- Goodnight Oliver," he said as his eyes suddenly looked back up at Oliver's.

"Good night Weasley." Oliver walked past him and took his shirt back out. "Loosen up a little bit." Oliver towel-whipped him with with his shirt and walked down the hall, shirt in hand, grinning ear to ear.

Percy's face turned red as a quaffle again and he was glad that Oliver now had his back turned. He straightened his badge and went in the other direction, small smile on his face for some reason he can't explain.

[I wake up, log on, find this, and promptly squeal happily and fall off my chair. OLIVERCY FOR THE WIN <3 ]
