The Grand Staircase

Gabby falls down the entire grand staircase. Oh fuck! She crawls to the HW.

[I had to make it so I could see my love Sirius without seeming like a creepy stalker who knows his every move...]

[*hugs Gabby cause she's awesome*]

[*hugs Remus and cries because he's one of her only friends because everyone is so old*]

[*comforts Gabby because he's an awesome older brother who cares for his lil' sis*]

[*runs through Remus' room and plays with his action figures* Actually, now that I think about it, she has three friends. And they are all 17 year old boys...]

[*doesn't think Remus was the sort of boy who played with action figures...he probably just read a lot...* and...hahahahaha wow...that's a little weird.]

[You know what! *reads Remus' precious books* Yeah, a bit. She'll have to meet the Creeveys.]

[haha yeah...I haven't met the Creevey's yet I'll have to do that at some point... *thinks it's awesome that Gabby is reading his books*]

Fred walked to the grand staircase.

George walked in with Angela, only to see his twin standing there. "Oh, uh, hey Fred." he said still feeling guilty and angry about the other night.

Angela could feel George tense slightly and she leaned into him, hoping to calm him down. this wasn't his fault after all. "Erm, hello Fred" she looked away awkwardly

Fred turned to see Angela and his brother. His expression shifted from one of contemplation to a scowl. "Hello," he said, rather shortly.

Ange was a little shocked by his demeanor, although she knew he had plenty of reason to be upset with her. "Fred...I'm, REALLY sorry about the other night. I wasn't thinking. I'm SO sorry!"

George looked up. "Fred.."

"I'm sure," he said to Ange sullenly. He understood that she probably hadn't done that to him purposely, but still... When George spoke he responded with a sharp, "What?" He sighed, knowing that came out meanly, but not really bothering to correct himself.

He looked down at Ange. "You know, maybe this wasn't the best idea, some people can't take apologies."

Fred rolled his eyes at George's comment. "I'm sorry," he said a bit snappily. He gave an audible exhale. "I know you're sorry, Ange," he said reluctantly. "It just- I don't want to think that something like that is going to happen again," he said. "It frustrates me that having a twin could cause so much of a problem."

"you think I'm happy about it? you think i feel GOOD about mistaking you for George? I don't want that to happen again either! I just. i just don't know what to do!" she looked down at the ground. she felt so awkward and bad about her mix up and she just didn't know what she was going to do.

George shook his head. "I'm sorry having a twin is such an inconvenience for you. I've moved on, and I wasn't aware it was so difficult for others to deal with an honest mistake. Whatever." he said walking off.

George's reply hit him like a punch in the gut. He hadn't meant it that way. "George..." he said quietly as his brother walked off. He turned to Ange, the guilt from what he'd just said plain on his face. "I didn't mean it that way. I mean- ugh. I know it was an honest mistake Angela," he said, trying to convey his sincerity. "And Nikki and I are fine so I had no right to say what I did," he added, looking down at his shoes.

"i'm glad you and nikki are good. i'll find her and talk to her soon too." she looked at the ground awkwardly. she hadn't meant to come between the two of them. she felt awful. "I should...go..." she backed up in the direction George had left. "I'll try and talk to him...but...i can't guarantee anything. i'm sorry"

George turned around as he heard Fred's voice. He heard the guilt. He paid attention to the next words. He looked up and walked back over. "Fred I-- I'm sorry."
