Remus sighed and sat down at the end of James bed staring at his hurt friend. "Look, I honestly don't think dueling is the proper way to handle the situation...I know Snape hurt Sirius earlier but attacking him back isn't going to solve anything. I'm just glad no one's dead from this. You look awful." He spotted Lily nearby and realized he hadn't asked James yet how his relationship with her was going...if it was still going. He'd ask him about it later though. Now wasn't the time.

Lily heard James's words this time, and found the bathroom, swiftly changing into something more comfortable to sleep in, and crawled into her chosen bed, making a screen appear around it as well. She curled up, letting her thoughts wander. Why would Sev hex Sirius? He must've had a good reason...why would they start a fight in the first place? They shouldn't hex anyone who annoys them...even Sev wasn't the best, but..all of this...James...Potter stood up for his friends, but he hexed mine nonetheless...Why do I have to be in the middle of it all, i'm so glad they at least won't hex each other over me, and definitely not for the ball...as long as Ron doesn't get caught in cross-fire...

where could we go? *bites her lips thinking* umm we could go to the astronomy tower maybe? or i don't know...

James glared up indignantly at Remus. "Snape made a poisonous snake bite Sirius on the leg! What was I supposed to do, sit down and talk about my feelings?"

[Ugh. This guy I don't really talk to anymore and haven't talked in months keeps trying to get my attention on FB (now that I'm using it again) and every time he pops up on the chat thing I panic and leave because I REALLY don't want to talk to him... this is so awkward.]

George smiled. "The Astronomy tower would be nice. We could star gaze like we did last night." George looked into her eyes again. He could see the worry in them that wasn't there last night and he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and gives her a hug.

Remus glared slightly down at James but then sighed again, "Well obviously I wouldn't expect you to do that, you're James. But I've had similar experiences with him and I've never attacked him for it." Yeah and look where your passivity got you Remus. You ended up hurting him over and over again and now he hates you. Well you promised yourself that you were done with being friends for his own good so stop fussing.
Remus decided he didn't really want to get into an argument with his friend right now so he just focused on how to help him.
"Is there anything you want me to get for you?"

Slowly, Lily lay down, secure that no one could see her because of the screen, and that all was alright because Remus and James were talking a bit. She began to drift off, eventually falling asleep.

James narrowed his eyes and was about to answer when Remus changed the subject. He looked over at Lily. "Well... Not you, no." And suddenly James wanted Lily to leave, while part of him still wanted Lily by his side...

[haha...understatement...Lily's been all irritated fury since James came back. Doesn't hurt that i've been super busy so just dropped in to add a notch of canon drama. Also, I'll make Lily wake up if someone needs something, otherwise i'll watch for a bit then just go to sleep myself XD
