"You should be!" She shook her head angrily. "And if you're just saying that, believe me, I. will. make. you. sorry." She poked him in the chest as she said the last part, glaring into his eyes with their noses inches away from each other, forcing him to walk backward. "We're over now, thanks to you." She leaned back from him again.

Blaise felt angry suddenly at getting all the blame, "Thanks to me? Thanks. To. Me? WHAT ABOUT YOU?" He roared advancing on her, finally coming out of his skin. "IT WAS NOT JUST ME! IT TAKE TWO TO TANGO LITTLE MISS PERFECT." He step forward inches away from her, "So don't you dare... don't you dare even think that it was just me."

"Yeah, I know it wasn't just you! I took the blame when I told him about it!" She stood her ground, though he was a bit taller than her, and scowled up into his face. "But you just KEPT PUSHING, BLAISE. YOU JUST KEPT FLIRTING AND TALKING EVEN THOUGH YOU KNEW, YOU KNEW, ABOUT DRACO. And yeah, I know I shouldn't have let it happen. I KNOW I'M TO BLAME AS WELL." She stopped shouting, realizing that whoever was in the common room could probably hear. "But why couldn't you just leave me alone?"

"Believe me, I wish I could leave you alone! BUT I CANT! I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT YOU? Somewhere along the line this whole flriting stopped being a game for me Pansy. I'm not doing this for fun anymore. Not with you! And I know it was wrong, and it is killing me inside knowing that I hurt my best friend! I just keep messing up, I just cant help it! I dont know what to do anymore! BUT I CANT TELL ANYONE THIS. I would be ruined!" Blaise yelled, tears in his eyes. His true colours shinging through.

"You WHAT?!" She yelled back at him, completely and utterly confused. This didn't make any sense. Blaise was too picky, too-good-for-everyone, he didn't just start liking girls unless he really really liked them for some reason or another. Pansy's hands reached up to her face, gripping her temples. So I've lost the heart of my true love, only to find Blaise handing me his... shit, what now? She couldn't find a way to make herself believe that everything Blaise had been doing was because he liked her like that. She looked back up at his face, startled to see tears in his eyes. "You can't be serious..."

Pansy supposed it made sense, after all. Her whole time at Hogwarts, Blaise had paid her the sort of attention she'd wished she'd gotten from Draco. She'd always blown it off, ignored him, too busy staring at the boy she could never have. Perhaps that was still true... though Draco had admitted his love to her, she could still never have him, some cruel force of the world continually ripping them apart. But if Blaise loved her... no. This was all too ridiculous. "So what happened between us, then? Was it some way to steal me away from Draco? To piss him off and make him not want me anymore so you could have me for yourself?" She shook her head, knew it was stupid. "I just... I can't wrap my head around this... can't believe you really just..."

"No, no. It wasn't a plan to get you away from him... It just, when I'm with you I forget about everything else in the world. I just wanted you so bad. If i could turn back time and change it I would. Bu- But you never gave me the time of the day..." Blaise's mind flicker back through all the time he had tried to get Pansys attention. All she had wanted was Draco. Always. Never him. And that hurt, watching his best friend ruin what he had with Pansy.

Draco didnt deserve her. he cheated on her so many time and didnt give a fuck. He was Blaise best friend, but Blaise knew when something was wrong.

Pansy sat down on her bed, staring blankly at the floor. So Blaise felt about me, the same that I felt about Draco. Merlin, what have I put him through? "I... I'm..." she paused a moment, trying to find her voice. "I'm sorry." Pansy glanced up at him. "For, ignoring you. I know how it felt."

"What the fuck is wrong with us?" Blaise sat down next to her resting his head in his hands, "When did it become this hard? When did falling in love start to hurt so much?" He saw Pansy with Draco in his mind. He never cared. Not once.

"I wish I knew, Blaise." Pansy leaned back and laid down, frustrated, covering her face with her hands. She let out a long sigh. "Love has never been kind to me. We exactly can't pick who we fall for." She wondered briefly if she could love Blaise, wondered if it would even be worth trying. She was afraid of getting hurt all over again, afraid of loving someone like Draco again, the only one she'd ever truly loved.
