An Abandoned Classroom

Molly laughs. "Atta girl, Ali. Just remember - you have to be able to outrun them..."


[SORRY!!! I got handed a task.... so I had to go delegate it to someone else... ]

"They'll never catch me," Alice mumbles, "I'm uncatchable. Yup. Uncatchable. So... Do you have any more secret cookies?" Alice bounces up and down.

"Special Cookies, Ali, Special. But yes, I suppose they should be somewhat secret too. Secret Special Cookies? Hmm, seems a bit of a mouthful. Hang on a tick - Giddy and I got into them the other night and fairly well decimated the Special Cookie population, but I'll have a look..."
She starts to rummage around in her bag, not really pausing to wonder if it's a good idea to give Alice a Special Cookie. Alice is pretty Special all on her own, after all.

Why did I type secret...?

"That's what I meant to say, Mollywog," Alice says, giggling at the thought of Gideon and Molly eating special cookies. OMG I know, I am so special, yeah? Teehee. Anyhoo... "What happened with that? Did you magically grow fins and gills?"

[by the way - your awesometastic sig makes it virtually impossible to give the appearance that I'm actually doing work here... I thought for sure once I'd seen it 50 times the giggles would wear off. But, no. Still funny.]

Molly looks up from her Special Cookie quest in her bag. "Mollywog, Allywally? Really? Anyway... no fins and gills, but there was an Attack of the Awkward Sea Creatures in the Common Room. And then the suit of armour started plotting against us... Aha!"
In triumph, she pulls out another, much tinier package of cookies. Man, her subconscience is so clever - keeping a couple aside for her until she can make more. She hadn't even realised. "Last few, right here. You, er, sure you want to do this, little sis?"

"Yes, really, Molster." Alice nods excitedly. If her older siblings can do it, she can do it. "Yeah. Just don't tell the boys. I don't think they'd like hearing that. Especially Fay, since he didn't get any!"

[OMR I WANNA SEE!!!! Oh wait.... I might actually die laughing at my desk.... ]

Molly shrugs. "Fay can have as many as he likes. Or, I should say, as many as he pays for. I won't tell the boys, but don't get used to this - you won't always get free cookies from me. The Special Ingredient doesn't come cheap, you know."
She flicks her wand at the door to close and lock it, just in case a non-existent Professor happens by, then unwraps the Special Cookies. She gives Alice a stern look as she holds one out to her.
"Remember - just this once, and just between us girls, ok? Here you go, little sis, welcome to the Special Cookie Club!"
She almost tears up a little. My, but don't the just grow up so quickly these days!

Alice grins. "Relax, Mol, I got this." She shoves the whole Special Cookie in her mouth, because living with Gid and Fay doesn't really give her the best table manners, no matter how hard Molly tries to teach them proper table etiquette. "Wee~, I'm so excited," Alice says, flailing about. "NOW YOU EAT ONE, MOLLY!"

Molly spares a quick glare for Alice's positively Giddyesque manners, and takes a Special Cookie for herself, eating it in a much more sedate manner. She chuckles to herself, wondering how quickly Alice's will kick in.
"Ok, Ali - no need to shout! You're not on the quidditch pitch now."

Alice pats Molly clumsily on the head. "Molly, Molly, Molly~, silly goose. Of course we're on the Quidditch Pitch. See? Imma bludger!" Alice starts sprinting around the room, knocking into tables and such.

Not very long then... XD

Molly waves her hand serenely after Alice. "Oh, noes, Ali's turned into a bludger. How will she live?" She rolls onto the teacher's desk up the front of the room and watches Alice bounce about the room.

Ali giggles, and rams into a desk, doing a flip over it. She lands smack on her face, and whimpers. "KISS THE BOO BOO, MOLLY! KISS IT!" She points to her elbow, which was perfectly normal, thank you very much.

Molly finds herself far, far too chilled out to do her usual flippy out thing over Alice hurting herself. She holds out a lazy hand, tugs Alice's elbow close, kisses it and then drops it again, rolling over and singing "Kiss the boo boo, kiss the boo boo," under her breath.
"Hey, hey Ali? Ali? Allywally Ali? Hey? Can you, like, hear me? Whoa... if you were deaf, would I even, like, still be talking? Or would I just be imagining that a tree fell in the woods?"

Alice had been singing when Molly asked her avalanche of questions. "Give up the fun- Hmm? Yurpppp. I can hear you. WHY? ARE YOU OVER SOME KIND OF LOUDSPEAKER? DO I HAVE HEARING AIDS?" Alice starts smacking her ears. "I DON'T FEEL THEM!" She glances at Molly oddly. "Why would a tree fall? We're on a Quidditch Pitch, no trees here," she rambles.

"Turn your voice box down, Ali," Molly whispers. "You're, like, scaring the walls."

She rolls around on the desk like a kitty cat in the sun.

"Hey, hey Alice? Do you think bludgers, like, feel pain?"

"Like, for serious? Do walls hold grudges? Do walls hold grudges in their hands?" Alice flops down on the floor, and starts rolling around like Draco Malfoy. "Yes. Yes, they do. Do you not see it when they cry? When a beater hits them with that bat, they cry. And the bat cries to because it's echolocation is ruined." Alice runs into the wall and continues rolling, completely oblivious to the fact that there is a grudge holding wall in her way. "Silly Molly," she blurts out, "Trix are for kids!"

Molly sort of sags at the news that bludgers do indeed feel pain.
"Whoa. Oh no... hea-vy. And now I don't even get Trix? Bloody rabbit...."

[ omg i love this Sorry for the interrupt, just had to say it.]

"That rabbit," she agrees, "always spoils everything." Alice stares at the wall for a moment. "Molly," she begins, "Do you know..." She turns around and looks at her sister with a crazed look in her eyes. Just imagine my sig. "The Muffin Man?"

Molly, still somewhat pleasant and mellow, is having pleasant and mellow daydreams about all the things she'd like to do to show that Trix rabbit who's boss. But when Alice turns to her with her very, immensely, gigantically important question about the Muffin Man, she sits up. Her eyes go wide, and because her pupils are super dilated, they look almost black and possessed.
"The Muffin Man? Who lives on Drury Lane?"
She thinks it over for a moment.
"Nope," she says lightly. "Never met him."
