Jenna felt something cold slide down her back and knew instantly what Vee had done. She squealed and jumped, doing the 'Ack! There is frozen matter sliding down my back' dance and vowed to herself to get Vee back later when she wasn't expecting it. Jenna opened the door and walked into Gladrags. She let the warmth wash over her and it felt nice, especially after her snow shower.

Vee will always be expecting it now. Thanks for ruining my xmas shopping! *glare*
Gladrags was a warm relief from the snow outside. Vee skipped over to the dress robes. "What color should I get?" She questioned Enna, looking at the robes in hues ranging from periwinkle blue to blood red to shimmery gold.

Jenna looked them over, "I think you should get the lavender ones, and I'll get the teal ones. They seem to suit the two of us well. Besides, teal is my favorite color." Jenna picked hers up and held it against herself, they were exactly what she looked for in a pair of dress robes, they weren't too frilly and they were in her favorite color and style.

The bluish lavender robes suited Victoria well. They were elegant, with a bit of shimmer, but not too frilly. The tulle that made the skirt floaty wasn't itchy, and the bodice fit like a glove. When she twirled, the skirt went out like huge purple flower. "Definitely these ones. Now I need to find accessories for it." Vee picked out a black, lace-trimmed set of robes for her mum and a pair of sunny yellow ones for Jenna's newest relative. She chose a pair of chandelier earrings that sparkled like diamonds, and a matching necklace. "Will you let me do your makeup for Christmas?" she asked Jenna.

[I just realised Enna will have to take a portkey because Floo is too mesy.]

Jenna's robes were teal, and they were a crushed velvet in a bit of a medieval style in the way they fell. There was a silk cord belt that hung over her hips and it looked like this...[img][/img] except it's not green and has a v-neck.

She bought her things, which added up to an ungodly amount. "Where to now, my dearest Jenna?" She said, bowing low.

A grin spread across Jenna's face, "To Honeydukes! I want me some chocolate!" She said, imitating an American southern accent (rather badly too). Jenna paid her money, it wasn't too bad. She'd seen worse although it wasn't cheap. And she linked arms with Vee as they walked out the door, bags in hand.

Vee's package-laden arms drooped as they headed in the direction of Hogwarts to reach Honeydukes. Even from here she could smell the delicious sugary scent on the snow-ridden air. As they entered, the sweet smell was stronger. "Jenna, I don't think I can stand the temptation." Vee said, staring at the wall of chocolate.

Jenna looked at Vee and saw the same yearning for chocolate etched on both of their faces. "Let's get some CHOCOLATE!" Jenna yelled, as if a war cry, and ran through the aisles, looking for anything and everything peanut butter or chocolate. She loved it here, she decided that when she got her own place that she would get one above a candy shop. So she could go and refill her chocolate stash whenever she wanted to.

Vee was a bit more refined in her search, which resulted in her discovery of nutella-filled cupcakes. And if Jenna was planning on actually living above a cand shop, Vee might have to lock her in her room so she didn't eat the store out. "Mmm" Vee closed her eyes as she ate a sample of coconut ice. "Jenna, you HAVE to try this!" She called to a head of red hair she saw darting about near the chocolate.

Jenna looked over, she had heard Vee shout her name. It had better be important because she was about to enter the fudge section. And Honeyduke's fudge was her favorite. "What is it Vee?" She didn't want to try anything gross and she wouldn't put it past Vee to give her a cockroach cluster and tell her that it was a clump of candied nuts.

Ohhhh Vee wants Jenna to know that she isn't THAT mean! She would never give Jenna a cockroach cluster and say it was candied nuts. She would say it was peanut brittle . "Jenna I found nutella cupcakes!" Vee was doing an odd sort of happy jig. "We are getting a dozen or so of these for midnight snacks." Aaahhh so delicious.

[there is something very wrong with me. I was on here at 12am]

[The only reason I'm not on here at 12 am is because my mom kicks me off of the computer at around 10.]
That got Jenna's attention. Her head perked up, could Vee be serious? Jenna decided that she wouldn't lie to her about something as important as nutella was. "Nutella cupcakes? Did they know we were coming or something?" Jenna almost ran over to where Vee was standing and looked at the sign, they were in fact. Nutella cupcakes. No lie. Jenna took a sample from the sample tray. It was one of the most delicious things she had ever tasted. And she wanted to live off of these cupcakes and Kras' cookies.

"I think I might set up camp under this sign and have these cupcakes for breakfast every morning. And night. And we are soooooooo getting more than 12. Perhaps like, 40." Vee didn't just sneak another sample, nope. "And frosted with nutella. Pinch me." She told Enna.

[Haha when I'm away from my mum she can't kick me off My sister and grandmother and everyone else in the house was asleep I was lying in bed rping. And I fell asleep rping. Epicness.]

Jenna slapped her, and at the surprised look on Vee's face she simply replied "Well, I didn't think a pinch would be enough to get you out of your trance." Jenna shrugged, it was a true fact. "And Vee, I think we just need to get the whole supply, 40 will be gone in less than a week." And it was probably true.

[Oh, Maddie, you are a very entertaining person to be friends with.]

"The whole stock works for me. I am going to need to go to Gringotts after this." Vee groaned. And no a pinch wouldn't have worked, tis true. Nor would a slap in the face or a bucket of water on her head.

[Hah I better be an entertaining friend because you aren't getting rid of me.]

"So am I, my mum won't be too pleased with me but my dad will understand that it was all for the love of chocolate. For a professional athlete, he sure eats a lot of junk food and candy." Not that Jenna had an issue with this, she loved her dad with all her heart, but athletes normally tended to be health nuts which her father was definitely not.

[Darn! (just kidding, you know I love you Mads)]

"Hah my mum isn't going to be mad at me. But that's only because she is never ever ever going to know. Ever. Or I would be put on a diet of seltzer."bA diet of seltzer would certainly slim her down for a bathing suit she thought sarcastically. Can you think in sarcasm? Now you can. "We aren't eating any now because after this we are going to the Leaky for lunch." Vee reminded Enna.

[like I said, you better love me because you're stuck with me. Lol I always say that.]

Jenna made a face, she didn't even like seltzer, but she knew that if her mum didn't know how skilled she was with a beater's bat, she could very well try something similar on her. Despite the fact that her mum knew it was mostly muscle anyway. "Ugh, I am soo lucky my dad fully supports my gluttony, or I would be in the same predicament you are." She shuddered, their mums were too much alike for comfort but at least they got along.

When Vee had more candy than she could carry, she took it to the front counter where a grumpy looking witch was checking people out. "Enna! I need some help paying for, and carrying these cupcakes!" She was carrying several large white boxes stacked on on the other. Each box cost 3 galleons. The witch looked at her in amusement. "You're actually buying those?" She asked Vee. "Are there any left?"
"Nope!" Vee said happily. "But we are most definitely buying them." She paid for her candy and half of the cupcake price, leaving her moneybag considerably lighter than before.

Jenna fought back a laugh at Vee's exchange with the witch at the counter and her skeptical glare. She coughed over her half of the cupcake money. And she too, felt her purse was much lighter than before. "Here you go!" She said amicably to the lady at the counter and she gave her a halfhearted sneer in return for Jenna's friendly manner. She took one of the bags and strolled out of the door with Vee at her side, feeling very happy.

"I am starved!" Vee moaned. Obviously 10 samples are not enough for a growing girl. "Let's floo to the Leaky from Flourish and Blotts. I need to pick out a long book for the holidays." She said as she headed down the street, whose drifts of snow were becoming increasingly difficult to move through.

Jenna followed Vee out, "Umm, Vee? Flourish and Blotts is in Diagon Alley, we have to floo there from either the Three Broomsticks or The Hog's Head. It's impossible to floo from Diagon Alley if we're in Hogsmeade." Jenna looked over at her shivering friend, "I think we need to get you a butterbeer before we head out. You look freezing."

"I'm sorry! I can't think when I'm this cold! Let's get back to the Hog's Head before I freeze." Vee said through teeth that sounded as if she had eaten 15 ice mice. As they headed back to the Hog's Head through the ever-growing drifts, Vee realised she was having difficulty seeing through the air. "Enna, I think it's turning into a blizzard!" She called to her friend. The words were swept away by the wind, leaving only a faint imprint of a voice. "Hurry up!" She grabbed Jenna's hand and saw the door to the Hog's Head quickly enough to avoid walking into it. Vee had several fruitless attempts at opening the door before Jenna had to help her.

Jenna held tight to Vee's hand, maybe Diagon Alley would have to wait until another day. She saw Vee struggle with the door to the Hog's Head and Jenna managed to get it open. The two of them stumbled into the room, snow caked on their coats, boots and bags. Thankfully none of the snow had gotten inside of them. "Let's get some hot cocoa to warm up and then floo back to your place."
