The Black Estate (Victoria's Home)

Victoria's house is a large, secluded mansion near London. Most of it is dark and a bit gothic, but Vee's room is light, with lots of windows.

Vee flew out of the fireplace, and scrambled out of the way to make room for Jenna, who came flying out behind her seconds later. "Mummy! I'm home and I brought Jenna with me!" She yelled to the seemingly empty house. "Of course. She went out when she KNEW we were coming." Vee sighed in frustration, but wasn't surprised, it was exactly what her mum would do. "Here, let's drop our stuff in my room and hen get something to eat." She led Jenna up the stairs.

Jenna tumbled out of the fireplace, coughing. She was never that big of a fan of traveling by floo powder, but it was efficient time wise so she had learned to live with it. She heard Vee yell out to her mum and mention to her that her mum had gone out. "I really don't mind that Vee, I'd rather settle in without being judged." She shrugged, she knew that Vee's mum wasn't particularly fond of her and she had learned to live with that fact years ago. She looked around at the old, gothic manor. It was beautiful, but it felt cold, like real people didn't live there and it was all for show.

Vee's room was the only one in the house that looked lived in. She had a half sister, but she didn't live with her, and her mum's room looked as if no one ever used it. "I know what you mean" Vee sighed, and lead the way up to her room (which I wish I could find a suitable picture of). "I changed it a bit from last you came." Last time her room had been a deep blue with starry ceiling and a sparkly blue bedspread.
Vee grabbed Enna's bags and dumped everything in a corner and threw some pillows on the trunks, creating a window seat of sorts. "That way I dont have to worry about putting stuff away." Vee grinned.

Enna looked around the room, it had changed quite a bit since the last time she had visited. It was much lighter and more airy than before and Enna liked it. "I like it better this way, and that thing with the trunks is actually a really good idea. I might have to steal it from you." Enna plopped down onto Vee's bed, it was soft and fluffy and she lay down and let out a sigh of contentment.

BECAUSE I CANT FIND A PICTURE I AM GOING TO HAVE TO DESCRIBE THE ROOM MYSELF. *sigh* Victoria had a large, four poster bed with a soft canopy of translucent curtains. Her bedspread was white, as were her pillows, which were fat and squishy, but a soft, candlelight-like glow bathed everything in a golden light. The room was big, and the windows were many, letting in the winter afternoon sun and a pleasant view of the snow-covered lawn. In a corner were the trunks, covered by pale yellow pillows and placed in what looked to be a cozy reading nook, surrounded by bookshelves and more pillows all around.. The floorboards were stained a dark brown and covered with a thick cream-colored rug. A large desk painted white stood in a corner opposite the trunks and a dresser painted the same shade was against a wall. A coffee table in the center had a tray of steaming cocoa and cookies on it, as well as a single calla lily and a fat book.
[NOW IMAGINE IT YOURSELF. HUMPH.]

Vee sat down on the rug and drank some hot cocoa, which must have been brought up upon their arrival by her house elf, Remy. "Have some, Enna!" She invited, waving a cookie that looked to be peanut butter in her direction.

[I can imagine it, because UNLIKE SOME, I have an imagination, which with to picture things.]
When Vee held up the peanut butter cookie in front of Enna's face, her eyes locked on it and followed the cookie as Vee waved it around, like a cat watching a fly perched on a wall, Enna was completely transfixed by the cookie. It was almost as if she was in a trance. The cookies at Vee's house were always delicious (but not as good as Kras'). "Cookkieee...." Enna's mouth began to water and she lunged for the cookie, like the glutton we all know she was.

[Are you implying a certain person?!]
Just for fun, because the expression on Enna's face said "GIMME COOKIE!" Vee jumped up and leaped into a corner, cookie in hand. "Does Enna want the cookie?" She taunted jokingly. There was no way the cookie was leaving her grasp without a struggle, mostly because she liked to taunt Enna

[Sorry, Abby, you gave me no choice. It was too perfect.]

Enna followed when Vee jumped into the corner, even though she knew that there were probably more cookies on the platter. The chase was fun, and it was nice to let loose and goof off for a little while. Jenna lunged at Vee, snatching the cookie from her taunting hands and yelping in satisfaction before taking a large (not very attractive) bite out of it.

[Um, I just like, described Vee's whole room without ever being there. You are a poo head. *not acting like a 3yr old, no sir!]
"Woah! Wait! No! I am supposed to keep that cookie and eat it and rub it in your face!" Vee complained as Enna took a large bite from the cookie. Vee walked over to the plate, grabbed three cookies, and stuffed them in her mouth. "Goo- fin mum ifnt 'ere 'ow or I'd be n 'uge tuble!" She said through a mouthful of cookie, crumbs spraying all over. Poor Remy, she would have a plethora of crumbs to clean up tonight. She swallowed, and took a gulp of hot chocolate, burning her mouth and choking. "Ouch! Jenna! Why'd you do that!" Vee said, her bright red tongue hanging from her mouth.

[Mads, I love you and all but sometimes you make me wanna scream and flap my arms around like some weird combination of Alexis, Jayne and Arielle.]
Jenna put her hands on her hips and looked condescendingly over at Vee who was currently shoving three cookies into her mouth at one. "If your mum could see you now... You'd be dead and I'd have to flee the country to escape her wrath." Jenna giggled and finished eating her cookie.

[Pretending that is a good thing. ]
"Isn't that what I just said?" Vee asked, not realising that it had been impossible to hear her through the large amount of cookie she had been eating. She sighed contentedly and flopped onto her bed. "We should go down to Hogsmeade before my mum gets back so we can get presents." She thought out loud.

[You just wish you had Arielle's swag.]
Jenna tilted her head thoughtfully. Vee had a point, the needed to get their presents for people ASAP. Jenna tended to procrastinate and so she figured that it would be now or never. "Okay, or do you want to go to Diagon Alley instead?" Diagon Alley was bigger and had more options.

"We are magical witches, silly. We can go to both!" Vee was being overindulgent. It seemed as if the christmas spirit had infiltrated her brain and made her... happy? The word escapes my brain.
"Where to first?" Vee asked Enna, pulling off her robes and pulling on a wintery white sweater.

Jenna thought for a moment, "Let's start with Hogsmeade, and then we'll floo to the Leaky Cauldron and eat lunch there. We can stop at Zonko's and at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes and be set on prank supplies for the rest of the year." Jenna pulled on her jacket as the two of them grabbed their money and headed down the stairs to the fireplace.

"Oh goodie!" Said Vee, pulling on snow boots, and tucking her skinny jeans. She put on her headband, scarf, and a touch of shimmery powder. "Okay all ready!" She said, and followed Jenna to the fireplace. She stepped into the green flames, shouted "Hogsmeade!" And was whirled away into an ashy world, glimpses of festively decorated houses punctuating the green flames.

Jenna rushed through the fireplace and came tumbling out on the other side at the Hog's Head. The two of them preferred this entrance because the one at the Three Broomsticks was always crowded. Jenna stood up and dusted herself off and then helped Vee to her feet like the good friend she was. "Hello Aberforth!" She said happily to the barman and waved.

"2 butterbeers please, Aberforth!" Vee said cheerfully, handing over the required four sickles and tossing a dusty bottle to Jenna. "Cheers!" She said, clinking bottles. They wandered out into Main Street, money bags full. "Where should we go first?" Vee asked Enna.

Jenna thought for a moment (she's been thinking quite a bit, hasn't she?), and said, "Let's start with Zonko's we can finish at Honeyduke's and drop out loot off at your place before we head off to Diagon Alley. And we can do whatever catches our eye in between. I only have a specific order for those two."

"Yes ma'am" Replied Vee, face serious. They wandered through the lightly falling snow towards Zonko's. When inside, the smell of burnt hair, dung bombs, and acid pops overwhelmed her. "Ok, I think I want one of those fake Firebolt 3s for my Uncle, an Acid Lipgloss for cousin Caroline, and some pepper tea for mum's stocking." Ahh the thought of Caroline with acid lipgloss on.

Jenna's head began to bubble over with ideas. "Hmmm, maybe I'll get a fake Firebolt for Henry, he'll think it's hilarious. And maybe I'll get some trick paintbrushes for Reed, oh nevermind. I can't bring myself to give Reed anything pranky." She began to wander around the store, just being there made her feel so happy.

Vee began looking at shelves of books for magical practical jokes. She had to make sure to get Jenna something good. And Rose, she supposed, now that they were friends. And her mum and half sister and uncles, aunts, cousins, ugh. Too many! She picked up a thick book and put it in her basket. She wandered on, every now and then finding a gem and putting it in her basket for a present.

Jenna was wandering the hallowed aisles of the joke shop when she came across the perfect gift for Vee. (What it is shall not be named so it remains a secret.) She smiled at her triumph and continued to look for more prank gifts for her brother. They always got each other prank stuff as gifts, it was a tradition, and one she loved.

(Vee isn't about to let Jenna know either.) She found a bottle of color-changing nail polish for Rose, and a shall not be named for Enna. She walked through the store a bit more, and then caught up with Jenna. "Ready to move on? I need to go to Gladrag's." She said.

Jenna nodded, "I have to go there too, I need some fresh practice clothes and I want to get something for Anne there. I know she loves that store. Who cares if she's not technically my sister? She's been like a sister ever since she and Henry first started dating." Jenna did a little twirl outside and stuck out her tongue to catch some snowflakes.

Vee bent down on pretense of tying her shoe. She scooped of some of the fresh snow. "Okay, lets get a move on! I need a cute pair of dress robes for Christmas and I'm getting mum a lace trimmed... a lace trimmed I don't know what" She said as they moved towards the shop. Right before entering, she slipped behind Jenna and dropped the snow down the back of her coat.
