Marcus looked over at Penny and smiled at her. "Are you alright Penny?" He asked her quietly.

she shook her head and said softly "don't worry about it. do you want me to err...leave?" she prayed silently he would say no. she did NOT want to leave the two of them together alone.

"Ummm, no. You're fine. If you want to stay you can." He said and smiled slightly at her.

she smiled "great" she squeezed his hand and intertwined her fingers into his. she continued to look away from Tam

He squeezed her hand back and looked back at Tam. "Soo...Erm..how's the garden doing?" he asked awkwardly, not knowing what to talk about with Penny there.

"Great, most of my vegetables are coming through now so I'm eating loads of fresh stuff all the time." Tam wasn't sure if Penny knew about Marcus visiting and felt SUPER AWKWARD with her there...

"That's great" He said with a smile and looked around awkwardly because having them both on either side of him was really awkward. "So..Anything new since I last visited?" he asked somewhat quietly and looking away from Penny, not wanting to upset her about the whole kiss thing that happened at his last visit to her cottage.

Joel, not intierrupting, stood up off the floor, looked around blearily, and then flip flopped into his office.

They carried on some more awkward conversations that was very stilted that Tam and Marcus REALLY REALLY don't want to type out. After a while Marcus seemed to be shifting uncomfortably on his pillows. Tam reached behind him and helped him sit up better before pulling back at the look from Penny. "Do you need more potions now?"

Penny glared at Tam. SHE was supposed to be helping Marcus. not HER. "look, I'll just...go" she said quietly to Marcus. she stood up and kissed him hard before giving his hand one last squeeze. she glared at Tam "stay the hell away from him."

"Ermm, Yeah I think so." he said leaning back into his pillow and let out a groan of pain and he grabbed his throbbing head. He looked over at Penny. "Wha--What?" he asked and all of a sudden she was gone.

Tam fell back on the bed and couldn't stop the laughter from spilling forth. Even as Penny had released her parting shot Tam hadn't felt concerned. She wasn't there to steal Penny's boyfriend, as much as the other girl seemed to believe it to be true, she was just there for her FRIEND. "Merlin," she said sitting up again, "She's a possessive one."

He smiled a bit and decided it would be best not to say anything about Penny being possessive or not because he did not want to die. "Ummm, I just don't think she likes you very much. or at all."

"Marcus, to be honsest, I don't think anyone here except for you, Scorp and Pansy like me very much. It's a Hogwarts thing I think" She grinned, it felt weird being back... in one way right but in another very very wrong.

He grinned at her. "I'm sure there are other people here that like you Tam. How can anyone NOT like you?" He said still smiling at her and shifted a bit, trying to get comfortable so he wasn't in pain.

"Just ask your girlfriend, she's probably got a list of reasons by now" She saw him shifting and moved over to his bed, "Can I help you?"

He smiled at her and laughed slightly, trying not to laugh to hard because it hurt. "Umm, no I think I got it. Thanks though." He said smiling at her.

"No problem," She eyed the bruises on his face and the ones she could see starting on his neck that vanished into the standard HW pajamas he was wearing. "Was it really only one bludger? You look far too beaten up for that."

"Well the bludger hit me in the side of my head and after that I can't remember much. It happened so fast. I remember falling and hitting Blaise on my way down and then I hit the ground and blacked out and woke up here. I guess Draco got me here after I fell."

"Wow! How did Dee hit you! What happened to Cissa? She's the other beater right?" Tam loved flying dearly but she'd never really understood the charm of a game that could leave you this injured.

"Cissa was sick and couldn't come to practice and Dee was frustrated with me so she thought it would be okay to hit a bludger and aim it at my head." He said surprisingly calmly.

"What the fuck? Why the hell would she EVER think that's okay." Tam's watch caught her eye and she gasped, "Shit. Marcus, I gotta run. I have work this afternoon!" She decided against hugging him as it would aggravate his injuries and gave him a quick peck on the lips then darted out of the HW and out of the castle without seeing anyone else.

"Oh alright. See you later Tam." He said and all of a sudden his eyes widened in shock as she pecked him on the lips. He sat there in shock for a moment before relaxing back onto the bed. bored.
