That last detail was too much for Sirius to handle and he quickly runs to the nearest bathroom wear sounds of him puking can be heard quite clearly. He emerges a moment later, looking disheveled and exhausted, and utterly revolted. He stares at Viktor blankly, at a complete loss for words, standing in the middle of the room looking for the first time in his life, rather defeated. "I- we- dead. Him. DEAD."

*Hermione closes her eyes, feeling as helpless now as she ever has. She wishes she could swallow this whole day, take it all back and scream 'do-over' and have none of it ever happen.*

"He won't have a face to smirk with when I'm done," he said in a low, menacing voice. He sighs and runs a hand through his hair, and looks up at Mya. "I'm gonna go talk to Fleur. Tell her things are fine- she's probably worried," he mumbled, and walked back to where Fleur is currently not resting.

Viktor takes this time to rest, not realizing how tired he was. He tried not to think about Gellert, but all he could focus on right now was where Regulus was and if he was okay.

*Hermione nods silently as Sirius leaves, eventually turning to Viktor.*

Can I get you anything? Water or something? A shirt that fits?

He looks at her and gives a small smile. "I'm fine. Thanks...Actually, maybe a different shirt vould help. I don't vant to rip Sirius'."

*Hermione nods, smiling ever so slightly because Sirius would likely belt someone for messing with his wardrobe. She focuses her mind and summons a shirt from Viktor's dorm. From the size of it, she's pretty sure it's his. She hands it over.*

D'you need a hand?

"No. I'm good." He hesitates before taking his shirt off but eventually does, revealing all the cuts and burns to Mya before pulling on his own shirt. He lays back down but quickly sits up as he hears Sirius yelling, letting out a painful groan at his sudden movement. "Vot happened?"

*Hermione bites back a gasp at the sight of Viktor's torn and burnt chest, before her attention is drawn to the sound of Sirius' voice, near-panicked, screaming from the next ward. With only a second's hesitation, she passes Kiora into Viktor's arms and draws her wand once more.*

Here - hold the baby...

*She rushes for the door to the private ward.*

Viktor holds Kiora in his arms and smiles down at her, trying to think happy thoughts instead of about Gellert and whatever it was he was doing to Reg. He tried to focus on what Regulus had told him about the baby until his mind quickly jolted to another detail. About something drastic tearing the two of them apart. He bit his lip in frustration, wishing he knew what was happening with Reg right now. He sat there stroking Kiora's cheek and waiting because that's all he could do for now.

Leopold, James' pet sheep, comes and hangs out with the dead body, because said body is lonely.

*Hermione slips quietly back into the main ward of the HW and gives what she hopes is a reassuring look, despite the fact that she looks and feels like hell. Her eyes flicker again to the curtain hiding the body in the corner and she blanches as she sits down next to Viktor once more.*

It's ok... They're both fine.

Viktor looks up, still cradling Kiora in his arms. "Are you sure?"
