The Owlery

"Well.....should I tell her that? Or should I let her find out the hard way from him?" He asked because now he was confuzzled.

Dean thought for a moment. "No, I don't think you should tell her. Rolf could always change his mind." Leaving Luna available. No no no, Neville. Focus on Neville."I think you should spend some more time with her, as friends, and maybe she will see that you are better being ...more than friends." Dean nods.

Neville nods. "Sounds like a good plan. Thanks Dean" He says with a grin. "So, how about you? Got your eye on anybody?"

Dean flushes for a moment. "Nope. No one has struck my fancy." He wasn't really lying, he was still confused as to why he had these strange feelings towards Ginny and Luna. He scratches the back of his neck awkwardly.

"Liar." Was all he said.

"No. I swear. I'm not lying. I just..don't know how I feel about a couple people. There are these new emotions that may be because I haven't seen either of them all summer." Dean tried to explain.

"Mmhmmm." He said nodding. "And who are these people you have these feelings for?" he asked with his eyebrows raised.

"Okay. I'll tell. But, this is top secret. If you tell anyone I will take the mickey out of you." I don't really understand that saying, but I've heard it used before. "Ginny Weasley and....Luna. " Dean would blush, but he's black, so it doesn't really show.

"Oh my gosh. Ginny! She is so nice! Remember when I went to the Yule Ball with her? So much fun. You should go for her! I bet she would like you lots! And Luna too! Luna is nice!" he says grinning at his BFF.

Dean couldn't help but smile at Neville's enthusiasm "Yeah. They are both really nice. Like I said though, I'm not sure if I was just overly excited to see them after the holiday. I have to hang with them again to be able to see if there is anything there." He nodded

"Maybe you should just snog them. That would probably be the easiest way to determine your feelings." he said with a shrug.

"I can't do that! What if they don't like me like that! Then they would never talk to me again!" Dean shook his head like Neville was crazy.

"Of course they do Dean!" He said and bonked him on the head. "You're crazy if you don't think they do..."

"But I can't know if they do. I have to wait and see." He nodded very seriously.

"Okay." He said and nodded. "You will wait and see....and I will also wait and see."

"Yes. We will both wait and see." He nodded again, and didn't speak for a while. "Oh! I have to show you and Seamus this book I got over the summer!"

"Yeah? What book is it?" He asked. "A Herbology book? I got a new Herbology book over the summer." he said with a grin.

"No. It's not Herbology. It's a.." He looks around the Owlery "A book of pranks." Yes. The same one from 1.0.

"Yeah?!" Neville says as his eyes go wide and he grins a huge grin. "Have you planned who you want to use any of them on yet?" He asked excitedly.

He shook his head. "Nope. That's where you two come in. We need to have a planning session. Go through the book and figure out which spells are worthy enough. Then decide who we want to use them on."

"Yeah, of course." he says nodding. "Have you talked to Seamus since we've been back? I talked to him a little on the train but not much." He says with a shrug.

"Yeah, a little. I sat by him on the train. But I didn't mention the book. It was too public in there. No one must know of it's existence."

Neville grins at him. "So where exactly did you get this infamous book of yours? Zonkos?" He asked.

"I actually did. I worked a deal with the owner. There are only two in the world. The author has one, and now so do I. Granted I spent pretty much all of my money in Gringotts on it, but it was well worth it. It was intense, I had to sign all these contracts and stuff."

Neville's jaw dropped in shock. "FOR REALS?!?!" He said staring at his friend with his mouth open. "Dean! That is so cool!"
