Somewhere Private

Rolf walks with Luna away from that scary hallway and Fenrir to Someplace Private...whatever Someplace Private looks like. "Lu, are you okay?" he asks hesitantly, knowing that this will undoubtedly shake her more than Evan.

Luna clings to Rolf and shakes her head. "I'm fine. Now. I don't know what would have happened if you..if you didn't come," she says quietly, holding back tears as she slides down the wall, bringing Rolf down to sit next to her.

"I'm just sorry I didn't come sooner," he murmurs to her, while sitting down against the wall next to her. He pulls her body to his in a comforting embrace. "It scares me that I can't protect you from things like this, because that's all I want to do," he says quietly while thinking of Evan and Fenrir.

"You can't always be there for me though. I shouldn't have been out in the halls on my own at night anyway," she says in a shaky, resting her head on his shoulder. "I didn't go looking for trouble. He just-- came up and wouldn't leave."

"I know Luna. I know you would never purposely seek trouble and I don't blame you in the slightest for what happened. If anything, I regret not being by your side, especially so soon after the Evan situation," he sighs.

"Evan was different," she mumbled, looking down at her hands. "At least he sort of had a reason to push me. This guy just...He just did it because he was bored, I guess. I think he was a werewolf too," she added quietly.

"A werewolf? Here at Hogwarts?" he questions in slight shock. "Why would the school allow someone so obviously vicious to be roaming the halls? Someone could get seriously hurt," he says shaking his head.

She nods and leans into him, not getting defensive about werewolves because she doesn't know about Remus' furry little problem. "Yeah. He said I was lucky it wasn't a full moon tonight," she mumbled.

[My inner Hermione is growling.]

"Oh gods," he mumbles. "Thank goodness he's right, though I'd stand by your side through everything if something did happen. I just hope he doesn't go and attack other people as well. He seemed to have a bit of a temper."

[My inner Fenrir wants Mya to know that that is extremely kinky and he'd love to have her howling his name along with those growls]

Luna sighed and wrapped her arms around Rolf, closing her eyes as she rested her head on his chest. "I love you," she murmured quietly. "I don't know what I'd do without you, Rolf. How can all these Slytherins be so...so...ugh?" she asks as Alex remembers that Luna is friends with Gellert. -facepalm-

"I love you too," he replies with ease. "Slytherins... are Slytherins. Sneaky, evil, manipulative bastards," he says, though Scorpius is flipping a bitch because he so does not fall into those categories. Nope nope. "That's why you're better off staying away from them, because you really can't trust them. Though, I suppose this Regulus guy is alright."

"He is. He's definitely different from the others. Regulus wouldn't hurt me or try to--," she pauses and takes a deep breath. "He's just different. He actually has a heart."

"That's... surprising, and rare for a Slytherin," he replies. "I suppose Viktor has had an excellent impact on his life. Good for them," he says with a small smile. "That makes me happy that the two of them were able to find happiness with each other and are comfortable being with each other."

Luna smiles, glad to have something else to talk about. "Yeah. I haven't actually seen them together, but Viktor talks about how great Reg is all the time, and Regulus was telling me how great Viktor is."

"That's rather... sweet, a Slytherin and a Gryffindor. That's pretty rare too," he says, trying to think of any other Slyth/Gryff pairings and failing. Well, unless you count random hookups. But yeah... none. "Well, I really wish them the best and I hope that they make it."

"So do I...Just like us," she said as she looked up at him and smiled. Alex thinks of other Slytherin/Gryffindor pairings...Dramione was a hot, random hookup back in the day...I think that's it. Mhmm.

"Yeah," he grins while dropping a kiss on her head. "I think we'll definitely make it. I mean, something just feels inexplicably natural and different from other relationships," he says with a small shrug. "It's like...destiny." Dom would like to point out... that Drammy and Harry also happened, and now she is gagging.

Luna grins and and adjusts herself onto Rolf's lap, happily smiling at him. "Yeah. It is different. I've never felt this way with anyone else before. I feel...safe with you."

"Well, I'm glad. I'm going to make sure that I'm always there to protect you from now on. No one will mess with my Luna," he smiles. He drops his mouth to hers to kiss her softly for a moment. "Never again."

"I trust you," she says softly. "I know you won't let anyone hurt me anymore. And I suppose I could try to stop being friends with the wrong sort," she adds with a sheepish smile.

Rolf lets out a light chuckle. "Well, it was hardly your fault love. You didn't know that Ev-err, that guy was a complete wanker. Now...you know for next time to watch who you keep as company."

Luna sighs. "Yeah. I just...I don't normally judge people based off of their mistakes. I didn't think he was that bad until Gideon told me about him, then he freaked out when I brought it up."

[I didn't think this little storyline through.... the Evan in my head wants to punch Gid's head in, and the Molly in there is chuckling an EPIC bitch fit at him over it. *buys coffee* It's gonna be a looooooooong day.]
