Somewhere Private

Penny wanders around in search of something to do and ends up letting her feelings get the best of her as she leans against the wall and sinks down.

Cormac walks around looking for a nice place to think. Life was way too complicated. Reg, and Penny, what was he going to do? He walked around and then found Penny against a wall. "P-P-P-Penny..?" he said to her in a kind of whisper.

Penny looked up, hearing her name. her eyes widened when she saw who it was "Cormac? umm hi?" SHIT. what do i do? should i tell him about marcus? oh god i can't do this!

"How are you?" Cormac was nervous and sad he had to leave her last time. She looked terrible.

"uhh, I'm great!" she smiled falsely, not wanting to show him how upset and confused she was about everything that had happened

Cormac laughed a little. "Now tell me how you actually are."

damnit, how can he see right through me?? "uhh I'm not so great. you?" she laughed a little nervously

"Pretty bad myself." Cormac laughed uneasily trying to keep high spirits. He didn't want to damper Penny's spirit with his mood.

she smiled uneasily "tell me about it. wanna talk?" she motioned for him to sit down next to her

"Why don't you tell me what's wrong with you?" Cormac smirks and sits down next to Penny.

she looks at him and shakes her head, a scared look in her eyes.

"Penny.." Cormac gets up sits in front of Penny and takes her hands, "You can confide in me."

she sighs sadly and looks up at him, ashamed. "Promise you won't hate me?"

"No I won't." Cormac smiles comfortably towards Penny and starts to stroke her hands with his thumbs while still holding them.

she looked down at the floor, smiling slightly as he stroked her hands. "well, I uh....I slept with Marcus..." she shook her head, ashamed and stared intently at the ground

Cormac was dieing inside. But he continued to smile, "Ok."

her insides were churning and a few tears pricked her eyes. "i hate myself for it. I-I didn't even...ugh" she sighs, exasperated.

"Was it after our arguement?" Cormac went and sent beside her again and put his arm around her.

[ohhh boys. DRAMAAA]

she leaned into him, inhaling his scent and put her face on his shoulder, slightly embarrassed. "erm yes. it was." she shakily whispered, "I said your name. and not his..."

"Oh." Cormac loved the feel of Penny's head on his shoulder. "Penny.. I.. wow.."

she shook her head, her face burning, and she was glad her face was buried in his shoulder "I know..."

"Well than I should tell you this." He moved Penny's head from his shoulder and took her hands. "I kissed Regulus Black." [And I liked it the taste of his cherry chapstick.]
