The Astronomy Tower

[Basically, I made it sickeningly sweet... *cackles*]

-runs sobbing to the edge of the astronomy tower and, hyperventilating, prepares to jump-

CAN'T BE--DEAD--NO--CAN'T LIVE--WITHOUT--

-looks down at the grounds and takes a deep breath-

-grabs Peter-

I almost jumped too!
THINK OF TAM!
AND THE BABY!

Dead Dee says: I'm still dead down here.

[I hate leaving without saying goodbye for the night! I need to go! *hugs all*]

[NIGHT Dee do you want someone to help you?]

[No. I like being dead. I was just pointing it out...]

[Just checking I thought you may want help... My bad then]

-sobbing and hyperventilating and deciding whether to do it-

-still sobbing-

it's just--even if he is...he'll just go on and on about quirell and i'll never really be appreciated...

Remus dragged Sev into the tower then dropped his hand skipping over to the railing. "Look at me I'm a Hippogriff I'm gonna fly to the MOON!" [that was for you Joel haha] He leaned dangerously over the railing his arms flailing. He couldn't keep his mind focused on any one thing in particular but a passing thought managed to make some sense in his mind and settled on his lips. "'Ermione.." The weight of the emptiness overtook him again and he briefly wondered what would happen if he jumped ending it all. It wouldn't matter she wouldn't miss him. Not anymore. He laughed at a passing bird and drunkenly tipped over the edge. "OH DEAR!"

Severus runs over and grabs him, and throws him on the ground roughly. "WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING REMUS?! PULL YOURSELF TOGETHER, NOW!" he screamed, terrified at what had nearly just happened. He knew what he'd heard Remus say before he tried falling off the tower, but it didn't matter right now. What mattered was his love was drunk as shit and trying to kill himself, and that was not fucking okay.

Remus stared back in shock. The near death experience had sobered him up just a little but he was rather pissed off. "NO. HELL. This can't be happening." He stood up and staggered past Sev angrily. He couldn't even fucking die to be free of the void inside of him. "I'm sorry...just...shit. Let me think." He left Sev in the tower heading to the one place he knew he'd be in complete solitude, the place that, unfortunately, had been haunting his dreams for the past couple of nights.

[i'm heading to the Shrieking Shack to type up his thinking process then he'll head back to find Sev. you want to continue this tomorrow? cause it may take me a while to write all the Shack stuff out.]

Severus tried to run after him, but Remus had disappeared before he could see where he'd gone. "FFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!" he shrieked, panicking. Remus was a lightweight. A lightweight who had just downed a bottle of his favorite whiskey. Who was insanely depressed, apparently suicidal, AND NOW OFF ON HIS OWN SOMEWHERE. Severus didn't know what to do, there was nothing he could do- he broke down into tears, collapsing on the ground. What have I done? Was it something I did, something I said? Why the hell didn't he tell me about this sooner? Why in Merlin's name was he so fucking upset? He sobbed uncontrollably, until he finally passed out just as the sun was rising.

[Kay, going for the night. Actually, I'lll probably creep more, but I'm TRYING to go to bed]
