Malfoy Manor

Draco gave her a pouty look but unwrapped his arm from around her shoulders and tugged on her waist, “Alright then, why are we still standing here?” He gave her cheek another kiss and then moved her away from the edge a bit before they kept going, walking along the edge of the forest and the cliff. From below he thought he could hear water but he wasn't about to go explore it and he was definitely not going to let Pansy explore it.

The trail turned downhill from here, winding back and forth with blind turn after blind turn. The sound of water got louder, and though Pansy tried to stray toward the edge of the path that dropped off, Draco's hand stayed firmly around her and she couldn't get any closer to get another look down. But as they stepped around another turn, she finally saw the source of the noise. The creek that started up at the top of the trail had turned into small cascades of sorts by now, rocks projecting all the way across, and the first thing that Pansy wanted to do? Jump from rock to rock all the way across it. She glanced at Draco out of the corner of her eye, waiting to see what he would have to say about the cascades first.

As soon as they rounded the last corner and was the rapids he sighed. Draco knew exactly what Pansy was thinking the second she saw the cascades and his hand secured itself even more firmly on her hip. There was no way he was going to let her jump on those mossy stones and probably slip and slam her head on the rocks and then die of blood loss. And he was not over-dramatizing things either. Nope. “You know I’m not letting go of you don’t you?”

Pansy sighed in return. "I figured as much. Looks like you'll just have to come with me." She slipped away from him and grabbed his hand, pulling him behind her as she headed down toward the edge of the creek. She moved along the edge of it, toward a rather large sturdy looking rock, one that was still relatively dry and moss free. How safe! She stepped out onto it, turning around to see if Draco would be coming with her or just slinging her over his shoulder and walking off without another argument about it. She hoped it wasn't the second one. That happening once a week was plenty, and this week's quota had already been satisfied a few days ago when she refused to jump into the pool because it was cold.

Draco stepped to the edge and watched her. “Pansy why do you always do things like this?” When he was sure that she was stable on the rock and that there was enough space he stepped over to join her. Looking around he saw that none of the rocks near them looked particularly safe. “Okay now that you’ve come this far can we just go back? Or do I have to drag you back?” He could quite easily just pick her up and carry her away but if he did that she would probably just come out here on her own and that would be even worse.

"Draco, we've only gone on one rock. Have you no sense of adventure and risk?" She asked him amusedly, her eyes full of excitement at the prospect of finding her way across the little rapids. "And you know I have no reason for doing things like this other than just because I want to. I've died once, you might recall, and I intend to do as much as I possibly can before it happens again." She turned around to kiss him very quickly before she let go of him, leaping a little distance to land on a slightly smaller rock more toward the middle of the flowing water.

"My senses of adventure does not involve potential injury to your person. And you have enough of a sense of risk for both of us." Draco sighed as she reminded him of her death, "Yes love, I remember all too well when you died and I would rather not repeat the experience any time even remotely close to soon." As she jumped away again he sighed. "Why do you alway torment me like this?"

Pansy smirked at him over her shoulder and shrugged. "Tormenting you is fun, though. Guess I'm just taking advantage of it, waiting for the day when the punishments all add up. It's bound to bite me back eventually." She blinked at him before turning around, picking out another rock to jump to. She paused, measuring the distance or being technical or something about how to jump and how far and with how much effort, but eventually she just decided to wing it, springing off the rock she was currently on and landing on the new rock, crouching down to rest her hands on the rock just to make sure she had her balance before she stood up again.

Draco smirked at the thought of her punishments then cringed as she jumped to another rock, crouching to keep her balance. There was no possible way this could ever end well. "Okay Pans, you've proven your point. Time to come back now." He turned away from her for a second to jump back to the land, immediately spinning back to her to make sure she was still okay out there on the rock. He really didn't fancy jumping all the way out there.

"My point? Didn't know I had a point." She sat down on the rock she had been crouching on, looking into the flowing water around her. It wasn't very deep really, probably only up to her knee or thigh at the deepest places. She glanced up at him as he told her to come back, watching him jump back onto the bank of the creek and spin to look at her again, his face clearly worried for her. She really loved it when he worried for her, that little concerned look in his eyes, sometimes just a little frustration, desperation, anger. She smiled at him, trailing her fingers in the water as she sat there, feeling the current hurry past, biding her time until he was seriously done playing around with her. She had a thing for pushing his buttons and testing his limits, kissing it better afterwards and making it okay again. Sure it was probably not normal or healthy or anything like that, but it amused her and he didn't seem to mind so terribly much, though she knew one day he'd probably say enough was enough and let her know it. But she wasn't too worried about that. Punishments weren't all bad.

He watched as her fingers trailed through the water and she looked up at him. He knew she was just trying to push him, as always. This time however he was going to win. When she glanced back at the water he smirked and slipped his wand out of his pocket. I don't really fancy clarifying that because all the phrases I could possibly use are dirty now thanks to my HP movie night but whatever. Before she could turn her attention back to him he whispered Winguardium leviosa and she shrieked as she was lifted off the stone. When she looked at him he winked at her and with a flick of his wand she was safely on the shore next to him. "Well I just made mine."

Pansy had been paying attention to the light on the water and so when her body was lifted up off the rock and she was floating through the air, it was only natural that she made a rather surprised shout. Ending up on the ground next to his feet, she looked up at him, her legs splayed out in front of her as her hands rested in the grass. She pouted at him a little, wishing he hadn't made her come in like that. It was almost cheating, but she knew he didn't care, he'd just wanted her off the rocks and back on sturdy ground and now that he'd so easily gotten what he wanted, he was probably feeling rather smug. So in protest, childish though it may be, she stayed on the ground where she was, playing with a blade of grass.

Draco smirked down at her as she pouted then started to play with the grass. She was so adorable sometimes and she never failed to remind him exactly why he loved her so much, even when she was risking her neck jumping on slippery stones. Sitting down beside her he put his hands over hers and picked up her left one, pressing a soft kiss right behind her big sparkly rings. "It's nice to have you back Darling." He couldn't have wiped the smug smirk off his face if he had tried to.

She didn't look at him when he sat beside her, still feeling rather defeated in her entire endeavors at crossing the creek. But when he picked up her hand, her eyes followed it up to his face, and she almost smiled. That is, until she saw just how smug he really did look. She put back on the poker face, glancing at him from behind slightly lowered eyelids as if she were completely unamused and uninterested. "Mmmhm." She glanced back at the grass, because it truly was very hard to look at those eyes and that smirk and not smile and not lean over and kiss him and not give herself away.

Draco saw her almost crack a smile and knew he had won this round. Still holding her hand he kissed the back of her hand then turned it over and pressed a kiss to the inside of her wrist. She was so thin and delicate but her physical smallness was so out of place to her personality that it somehow seemed to fit together even better. Looking up at her he met her eyes and he couldn't blink. Somehow every time she looked at him he got lost in her eyes. Moving forwards slightly he shifted until their foreheads were together.

Pansy blinked when he kissed her wrist, biting her lip so that she wouldn't smile. She froze as their eyes met and she happily let him come closer to her, resting their foreheads together. Her eyes flicked down away from his to keep from smiling, but it didn't work. She felt the corners of her lips curving up and she moved her eyes back up to look into his, the silvery blue of them never failing to surprise her at just how bright they were, just how easily they conveyed what he was feeling. It didn't matter if she was never allowed to leave the house again, she wouldn't miss looking at the trees or the forest or any of that, so long as she could just look at Draco's eyes instead.

He smiled back at her and moved his lips to meet hers in a soft kiss. His hand moved up and rested against her cheek, his thumb stroking softly and he slowly pulled back, his eyes still looking into hers. She was honestly the most beautiful woman in the world, when she smiled his whole world improved and when she smirked he wanted to do awful awful things to her. Leaning forwards he gave her another soft kiss. Honestly he wouldn't mind spending the rest of the day here just kissing her.

Pansy hummed happily when he kissed her, forgetting her earlier frustrations with him ending their game so unfairly. This more than made up for it, if they got to sit in the grass in silence and just be for a while. Her fingertips rested lightly on his knee as she leaned forward again, closing the gap between them briefly for another kiss before leaning back once more, watching his eyes, amused by what she saw. Where he had been annoyed earlier, it was simple and pure happiness now, and she couldn't help smirking at him, that same little crooked one he always commented about. She didn't speak, she didn't need to. He always knew what she was thinking, and if he didn't he could always use that darn legilimency he'd learned back during sixth year. But he never resorted to that. He always knew what she was thinking and if he didn't, he asked. She knew sometimes he asked just to hear her say things, and the memories of all that made her smirk even more. Damn, they'd had some good times together that was for sure.

Draco couldn't be happier than he was at this moment. When she pulled back from kissing him his eyes trailed down to her lips. There was that little pouty smirk he loved, the smirk that he could never resist and would never be able to. He met her eyes again and arched an eyebrow at her, she knew exactly what he was thinking and she knew what she was doing to him. In a motion completely opposite to how he had been moving he swiftly moved his hand from her face to her shoulder and knocked her back, moving over her so that his arms were holding him up, his face inches from hers. "Hello."

Pansy laughed as he pushed her over, laying down in the grass. Unexpected? Not really, not if you knew Draco like she did. She'd seen that coming, and she was glad it had. She looked up at him as he moved to hover above her, his hands resting on the ground on either side of her. She reached up and held his face in her hands, still smirking at him just because she could. "Hi." She moved her hands around to the back of his head, her fingers moving through his hair slowly as she looked at his deadly sexy eyes. Yep. Deadly and sexy.

Draco smiled down at her when she laughed and leaned down to kiss her, not pulling away this time. As her fingers carded through his hair he groaned slightly, dammit she knew his hair was his weakness. Pansy honestly gave the best head massages in the world and that was not the reason he had married her. Nope. He moved so that he was lying on his elbows, their bodies lined up with his legs either side of hers. Slowly he deepened the kiss, nibbling her lower lip, his tongue moving out to sweep over it, tasting the vanilla of her chapstick.

As he groaned, Pansy couldn't help but smile into the kiss, continuing playing with his hair simply because she knew he liked it. Plus he has really nice soft hair and who wouldn't want to touch it? She pressed her face up toward his as their kiss intensified, biting lightly onto his lip and tugging back, parting her lips to allow his tongue inside. If she'd liked kissing him before, it was nothing compared to now, nothing compared to lying in the grass in the middle of their forest on the land that they owned kissing her husband, Draco Malfoy. She still smiled like a loon every time she saw her ring or had to write her name on something, every time she woke up in the morning with Draco's face next to her or caught him staring at her from across the room.

Draco kissed her leisurely for a while then slowly pulled back, resting just a little above her and enjoying the view. Her lips were slightly swollen and her hair was spread all around her contrasting with the green of the grass and the reds and oranges of the fallen leaves. Reaching forwards he traced a finger over her forhead and trailed it down her cheek to her lips. Smiling he brushed his finger lightly over her bottom lip, "You are the most incredible woman in the world Pansy Malfoy," relaxing he moved his hand away and lowered his lips down so they were almost touching hers again, "and I love you so much." He knew he would never get tired of telling her just how much he loved her and he would never let a day go by when he couldn't see her and be with her. She was perfect for him no matter where they were or what they were doing, they were soulmates.

Pansy smiled at him as he leaned back and looked at her, her hand moving down his neck to rest on his chest. As it always did, chills ran down her spine when he called her 'Pansy Malfoy'. She could never get tired of that, never get used to it no matter how many times she heard it. It was always exciting. She ached to move up and meet his lips again, he was so close, but she waited, because the anticipation always made it that much better when they finally did kiss. "I've got the best husband in the world," she whispered back to him, her eyes locked onto his grey ones that always showed her exactly how he felt. "I love you." She felt his heartbeat with her hand that was on his chest, wishing his face was just those few fractions of an inch closer to her, but she would wait for him to make that move.
