The Fireplace

Regulus smiled. "Yeah, she is, actually. But I really should be getting to bed. It was nice speaking to you, Lucius," he said politely, then gathered his things and went to his dormitory.

"Nice speaking to you too, Regulus," he said with a small smile before picking up his pimp cane and twirling out of the room.

Ellian wandered over to the couch, sat down, and stared at the fire.

Penny wandered down to the common room and sat down on a couch, staring at the fire, wondering where oh where her boyfriend had gone. little did she know he fucked her cousin last night.

Paul wandered in somewhat nervously, having only been told how to get here once. Luckily it had gone off without a hitch. He made his way into the common room and glanced around, holding a toothbrush somewhat awkwardly in his hand. He spotted a girl sitting on the couch. "Hey, sorry. Have you seen Tam around here lately?"

Penny looked up to see a boy, a very attractive boy, whom she hadn't ever seen before. She gave him a confused look, "Tam? Like, Tam Riddle? I thought she left for good..." her stomach flipped a little at the thought of Tam being back at Hogwarts

Paul was confused a moment as she said Tam had left for good. "Well, I thought she was here. See, she left her cottage and all and said she was coming back to school again. She left with some guy, I don't know..." He shrugged, glancing around. "I don't go here, I just had to bring her toothbrush back to her. She'd left it behind at my house."

Penny's stomach dropped when Paul said she had come back with a guy. she bit her lip and wondered vaguely if it was Marcus and sighed. "Well I haven't seen her around yet. Are you like, her boyfriend?"

"Eh, used to be. We split when she decided to come back here, actually." He sat down on the couch and stuck the toothbrush in his pocket, realizing it was a pretty stupid last attempt to see Tam again and just make sure it was really over. He supposed it was, seeing how she'd looked at the guy she left with. He shrugged. "I guess it would have been hard anyway, her being here and me being homeschooled."

"oh..." Penny looked awkwardly at the ground before standing up and holding her hand out to the boy, giving him a coy smile, "I'm Penny Rosier. So you're homeschooled huh? what's that like?"

[...what guy did she leave with? because she didn't leave with marcus. marcus has never even seen paul.]

Paul took her hand and smiled. "Paul. Paul Whodoesn'thavealastnameatthemoment. It's alright. Dad teaches us at home, me and my younger brother and sister. My brother Maxwell's a little slow at learning. Alexandria teases him a lot, telling him he's a squib, but he'll catch up. She just doesn't play well with others." Paul laughed, feeling strangely comfortable talking to this pretty stranger who he now knew was named Penny.

she smiled as he introduced himself and the firmness of his grasp. "sounds interesting. How old are your siblings?" she sat down, and motioned for him to follow suit. talking to him was easy, and she was pretty sure she already knew more about Paul's family than she ever did about Marcus'...odd

Paul sat beside Penny and leaned back into the old couch, worn in comfy from so many people using it before. "Max is twelve, Alex is fifteen. We used to have to learn secretly from mom, but eventually she caught onto something going on and we told her. Bit of a shock, I guess, to find out your family is magical like that. You have any siblings?"

Penny stared "woah. that had to be kinda crazy for your mom to find out like that! you're dad never told her? I can't even imagine" she laughed a little. "I have an older brother, Evan. He's alright, really aggressive though. He needs to be tough I guess, since we lost both our parents and he got saddled with taking care of his bitch of a little sister" she grinned

"Bitch? Really? You don't seem so bad." Paul laughed. "I guess I can't say I understand the overprotective brother thing. Alex takes care of herself, and her boyfriends, well. I can't intimidate them, at least." Just like Dean, who ripped the sleeves of his winter coat. But that's okay, because Alex would slap him silly with those winter coat sleeves if he got out of line. "But yeah, dad never told her. Not sure why, but it all turned out alright in the end."

she laughed "well thanks. I can be a bitch sometimes to Ev, just cuz he's my brother and I like giving him hell. you don't think you could intimidate Alex's boyfriends? I dunno...you look kinda tough" She smirked playfully "and I don't really need protection, I don't think I do at least, but Evan's got his own agenda"

Paul straightened up a bit when she mentioned that he looked tough. It was hard to tell sometimes, but he looked like this ^^ when he didn't have on a shirt. But Justin Paul didn't go without a shirt too often. "I guess I could if I needed to. I've just never needed to. She's a bit like you. Can take care of herself and knows who's good for her and who isn't." Paul smiled at her, finding it hard to imagine such a pretty sweet girl being a bitch.

Penny smiled at Paul. he was sweet, and really good looking. she shook her head slightly, remembering Marcus, like the good girlfriend she is. "Yea? She sounds like a cool girl, but she'd have to be to have an awesome brother like you"
