The Entrance Hall

Marcus is here, he is in the entrance hall sitting on a bench for obvious reasons I have no need to explain. >.>

Illie is coming in from a nice little run outside. She had been trying out the new spell Draco had showed her. She sees Marcus and goes over to him. "Hey Marcus." She hoped he still wasn't angry at her.

Marcus looked up at her and smiled. I have no idea what that spell is by the way. Um. Oops? "Hey." He said with a large smile. "Have you packed for the Holiday yet?"

She smiled when he didn't seem to be mad at all. "Uhhh. I have set my trunk out. I'm a really fast packer though, I'll probably do it the night before we leave." She nodded.

Marcus nodded. "I'll probably do it the morning of. That's what I usually do." he said with a small shrug. "So, how have you been?"

She shrugged. "Good. Been studying a lot. Talked with Draco again the other day. How about you?" She sat on the bench next to him since she was still standing there awkwardly.

He nodded. "Hm, Sounds like a lot of fun." he said with a large smile. "I've been doing great actually." he said nodding. "Lot's of quidditch, and sleeping, breathing." He said nodding.

She laughed. "Well, I'm glad you're breathing." She laughed again. "So, I think I know what I want to get you for Christmas, but it may be a little late." She bit her lip nervously, as if he would yell at her or something.

"Yeah, well, maybe we should just exchange gifts after we get back to Hogwarts then." he said with a small shrug. PHEW was he glad she said her gift was late. That gave him a excuse to not exchange gifts at home. He had his reasons for not wanting to exchange gifts at home. Yupper.

"Yeah, that'd be perfect! I'd feel a little weird doing it around your parents." Cue Marcus' dirty thoughts that she wouldn't understand. "Also, am I like, suppose to get something for your parents?" She wasn't sure how this whole meeting the parents thing worked.

"Well, Their room is in a different wing then mine so they probably wouldn't hear us." He said in an extremely serious tone. He was being serious. "No....Don't get them anything. They don't need anything." he said with a shrug. "They have everything."

"Well, I don't think a gift exchange would be too noisy.." She shrugged. "So, is there a guest bedroom by your room then?" Yes, she thought she was staying in a separate room.

Marcus blinked a few times. "Oh you meant....Doing it...A gift exchange. OH." He said and stared for a few times. "Um. Well. Yeah. There is one." He said staring at her like she was a freak.

She sighed in relief. "Okay good. I couldn't imaging being alone in a huge house. At least you'll be close." She nodded and was completely serious.

Marcus just stared.

She looked at him, then over her shoulder, then back at him again. "What?"

Marcus. Just. Stared.

She tilted her head to the side. "Why are you staring at me like that!"

"You want to sleep in a guest bedroom?" He asked, still staring at her like she was some freak.

"Well..isn't that where I'm suppose to stay?" She shrunk down a little, feeling really self conscious all of the sudden.

"Umm, I guess you can sleep there." he said, staring at her still. "If you want."

"Well..where else would I sleep?" She stared.

"Well I have a room at my house." he said staring at her.

"I think you have lots of rooms at your house." Illie is now very confused.

Marcus blinked a few times. "I have my own bedroom at my house. You can sleep in my bedroom with me. You can sleep in the same bed as me. We can get it on in my own bed at my house. I have a room and a bed you can sleep in at my house with me." He said staring at her.
