she smiled slightly as Albus agreed to her deal and then replied quickly "only if you want to. I don't mind staying out here, unless you want to sit down" she bit her lip and looked down a little, keeping her arm where it was, wrapped around his neck

Albus smiled sweetly and placed both hands on her sides. "I don't mind if we keep dancing. I'd love to, actually," he said with a grin as he continued dancing with her nice and slowly, matching their pace to the beat of the song.

She smiled, glad he wanted to continue dancing with her. She brought her other arm up around his neck and pulled herself a little bit closer to him, resting her head on his shoulder, moving with him to the slow beat. "This is nice" she said softly

Al smiled and brought one hand up to rest itself in her hair as she set her head on his shoulder. "Yeah. Yeah, it is nice," he said with a small smile as they continued moving together with the music.

Penny smiled when he agreed and allowed herself to close her eyes, just losing herself in the moment. she hummed lightly to the music.

Albus smiled as he heard Penny's humming, letting his hands pull her closer and move around her body to rest on the small of her back as they swayed with the music.

Penny smiled to herself, feeling completely comfortable and at ease. She smiled a little more, feeling Al pull her closer. She looked up at him "Is it weird that I feel completely comfortable right here with you?"

Al looked at Penny for a moment, somewhat stunned by the comment but he smiled anyway. "No, that's not weird," he said softly. He had that effect on a lot of people. "I feel comfortable around you, too."

She looked down and blushed at not only the shock of her own confession, but his as well "good. I don't...I hope you don't think I'm weird or something." that was the last thing she wanted. She was kind of starting to really like Al, but she didn't want to scare him off

Al smiles and shakes his head. "No, I don't think I could ever think you're weird," he said, spinning her around one time as the song ended because the mixer should probably get wrapped up soon.

Penny simply smiled at Al's words and spun gracefully under his hands, coming back to rest a hand on his shoulder, looking directly into his eyes. She couldn't find words to say as she just stared into his eyes.

Al stared back, smiling at Penny before he snapped out of it. "Er- I should probably get going," he said quickly, not knowing what to do. Sure, he'd hooked up with girls before, but Penny was different for some reason. He cared about her, and didn't want her to get hurt.

Penny snapped out of her day dream "Oh. er...right. Sure. I guess I-I'll see you around" she flashed him a quick smile and removed her hands from his shoulders, taking a step back. She tried to hide her disappointment. Maybe there wasn't anything there after all. She was being foolish.

Al nodded quickly, giving Penny a small smile. "See you around, okay?" And then he left to go think about these...feelings of his.

Penny gave him a small smile and nodded. "yea...see you around" she said softly to his retreating figure. She bit her lip and tried not to let her feelings get the better of her before she rushed out soon after.
