The Fireplace

Cormac stared in to Penny's eyes. They were a beautiful hazel colour. [I added a U cause I'm Canadian.] Cormac didn't break his gaze at Penny.

"Whatcha thinkin?" she laughed a little

"I'm thinking about you." Cormac smiled.

a bit of a blush creeped into her cheeks "oh yea?" she laughed

"Yeah, I am." Cormac laughed as well. "What are you thinking?"

"oh nothing. just some guy"

"Oh Really?" Cormac looked at her seriously. "I hope you mean me."

she shrugged and smirked "maybe, maybe not" she struggled to keep a straight face

Cormac smiled and nudged her playfully. "Anyways, I've got some stuff to do. Bye Penny." Cormac leaned over and kissed her on the lips before he left.

"o...kay?" she smiled and stretched, before deciding to head up to bed.

Dee comes in, slumping in the nearest armchair, because I am seriously bored. AND I GOTS TO GET MAH POST COUNT UP.

Evelyn walks into the area and sits down.

Scorpius enters the common room holding Faye's hand. He pauses when he sees Dee and decides to sit on the couches for a bit. "Hey Dee," he greets, leading Faye to the couches and then sitting down.

Faye enters the common room with Scorpius and gives his hand a gentle squeeze. She smiles at Dee and sits beside Scorpius on the couch, "I haven't seen you in awhile, Dee."

"Hi Scorp." She nods at Faye. "Hey Faye." She smiles at the couple. She knew it would work out. BECAUSE A RIDDLE IS NEVER WRONG.

"How are you?" he asks his friend who he hasn't seen in ages. "We haven't talked in quite some time."

"I'm okay. Today wasn't the greatest day," she replies, shrugging off the events of the party.

"Is everything alright? What happened?" he asks concerned because Dee is a nice girl.

"I probably broke up with my boyfriend, but that doesn't matter." Her eyes were downcast because this was an awkward situation AND because breaking up is hard to do.

"Oh, right," he mumbles. "Well, I'm sorry to hear that," he tells his best friend then glances at Faye. He's curious to know what she is thinking in this situation, because it is clearly awkward and she hasn't spoken once.

She shrugs, getting up to leave because I think it's time for Facorpius to jump each other's bones.

Faye looked at Scorpius and wondered why he had glanced at her. She had never dealt with a break up before and didn't know what to do. The only break up that could potentially count as a break up was when she was with Scorpius for a day and he ended it. That hardly counted. She finally realized a very philosophical thing to say and opened her mouth...just as Dee left the room. She closed her mouth and looked back over at Scorpius, "Um...Poor Dee..."

"Night Dee," Scorpius calls as she leaves the room, then looks back at Faye. "Yeah, she seems really upset. Not that I really understand though," he mumbles. "Guys can be complete jerk offs when it comes to relationships. We tend to resist saying how we really feel."

"Guys can be complete jerk offs, regardless of relationships, but I see your point," she frowned, seeing that he was really affected by this, "Look. The best thing you can do for her is be there for her when she wants to talk to you," she leaned in and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek, "Right now, it may be too soon. Give it time!"
