Some homeless hobo steals them. Then, when they get there, it turns out they are backstage pass tickets, so they get to meet the band/singer, and the singer absolutely adores them, so they give the hobo some money. LOTS of money, so the hobo goes and buys a house and some food and stuff. So some good came from that.

You get a sexy redhead. (And by redhead, I mean their hair is cherry red.)
