The Showers

Scorpius entered the showers after having gone for a bit of a jog around the lake. Now that he was out of his awkward phase, he wanted to work on getting even more in shape. He placed a towel and change of clothes down on the bench, then took off his shirt and began to take off his pants.

After Quidditch practice, Al made his way up to the showers to clean off. His black shirt was clinging to him with sweat and his curls were sticking to his forehead, and he just...was not going to be able to relax at all until he showered off. Luckily, no one normally used the showers on the third floor around this time, so Al doubted he'd have to deal with either a.) annoying people or b.) people who already knew he was gay and were convinced he was going to watch them. Please, like he wanted anything to do with the guys here. As soon as he stepped into the showers, he noticed one other person there and he rolled his eyes in frustration as he recognized who it was.

"Oh fucking hell," he huffed as he paused in the doorway, clearly annoyed as he turned away from Scorp and went to the other side of the showers. "Just...stay on your side, and I'll stay on mine, got it?" he commanded as he brought a hand to his back, grabbing a fistful of fabric between his shoulders as he pulled upward, taking his shirt off and tossing it to the side. "And keep your eyes to yourself," he added, though that part was just plain teasing.

Scorpius glanced up when he heard someone enter the room. He really hadn't been expecting anyone at this hour and especially not in this shower. It was quite a distance from the dorms which meant that it wasn't as frequently used, something that Scorpius really liked. He tried to avoid showering when the showers were crowded, for it was bad enough that they didn't like him and then to also expose his body, it wasn't good. When Scorpius spotted Al, he cursed his luck. Of all the people it had to be fucking Potter. "Whatever," he muttered in reply. For some reason it made him glad that Al wasn't going to be an outright dick and just leave the showers all together, and Scorpius was more than willing to comply with staying on his side and far away from Al. "Please," he snorted, keeping his eyes firmly on the ground as he began unbuttoning his pants quickly. "Don't flatter yourself too much," he said, though his cheeks flushed slightly. Why the hell would he even want to look at Al? Toeing off his trainers and then taking off his socks, he shoved his pants down quickly as his fingers moved to grip the waistband of his boxers. He froze though, not comfortable with taking them off when he wasn't sure what Al was doing. He didn't want to be judged or made fun of and definitely didn't want to just go and expose himself.

Al smirked as he caught Scorpius' freezing out of the corner of his eye. Figures. Without much thought or hesitancy, Al kicked off his shoes and socks then pulled his jeans down, tossing them over to the bench his shirt had landed on. Scorpius was so...innocent that it was impossible to not mess with him. He easily slipped out of his boxers, letting the fall around his feet before tossing them over to the rest of his clothing. "Does it always take you this long to get undressed?" he asked mockingly as he stepped into the shower, turning on the hot water as he ran his fingers back through his curls, pointedly ignoring Scorpius.

Scorpius couldn't help himself. It was a natural habit that whenever someone spoke to him, he looked at them. So, when Al asked him a mocking question, Scorpius looked up and just in time to see Al's backside before the Slytherin stepped into the shower. He swallowed, finding that he really hadn't been expecting to see that much of Al. He was torn, knowing he ought to be extremely disgusted...but he wasn't. "I'm not even going to dignify that question with a proper question...seeing as it won't matter because you'll never be in the same room while I undress again," he said, taking his boxers and then quickly moving into a shower and turning the water on.

Al rolled his eyes at Scorpius' proper response. "Not unless you're dreaming." He turned his head to see Scorpius' climbing into the shower. He...really shouldn't, but...the guy was so completely innocent that Al really couldn't resist. He stepped out of his shower and made his way over to Scorpius' casually grabbing the shampoo from the side shelf as he kept his eyes off of the other boy. "Sorry 'bout that. Didn't seem to find any in my own stall," he apologized, smirking to himself as he licked his lips, refusing to let his eyes linger on Scorpius as he took the soup from his shower. "Enjoy your shower, blondie," he laughed, turning away as he walked back to his own shower.

Scorpius let out a noise of surprise when Al suddenly appeared and his hands quickly dropped to cover himself. His jaw dropped when Al suddenly took the shampoo from his shower stall and walked away. How dare he! He fucking needed that. He waited under the water for a minute, figuring he would give Al time to use the shampoo and a moment to calm his anger. He then left his shower and walked over to Al's, looking more than irritated. "Are you done with that?" he asked, holding out his hand for the shampoo. "I kind of needed that," he said, seeing as he had yet to wash his hair. He worked to keep his eyes on Al's face, his eyes communicating his frustration about the situation. He really hadn't ever been in the presence of another person like this before, both naked and quite wet, but his anger towards Potter was the only thing on his mind at the moment.

Al turned back towards Scorpius, laughing at his question. "No, I'm not done," he stated indignantly. "Patience, Malfoy." He turned away as he lathered the shampoo through his hair, lowering his hands to his chest and body as he cleaned himself off. Scorpius would just have to wait until he was good and finished. With a twisted smirk, he reached over to the bench and pulled his wand from his pocket, using it to cast a quick spell over at Scorpius' shower and causing the water to turn ice cold.

Scorpius wondered what he did to deserve this. Really. He really didn't want to stand and wait, for it was quite chilly and he felt awkward just waiting for Al to finish. Plus, he didn't want it to come off like he was watching Al, oh no no no. Definitely not. He turned to go to his own shower for a bit, therefore missing the fact that Al had thrown a jinx at his shower, and quickly got it. He gasped and then let out a slight yell when he felt the freezing water, quickly trying to turn the knob to hot but finding it to be useless. Turning off the water, his body shaking from the cold, he huffed and then went to Al's shower. He shoved Al so that he was no longer under the warm water, then moved under the source of heat to help his shivering body. After all, it would take way too long to prepare another shower and wait for the water to get real hot. "F-Fuck you," he said, glaring at Al and knowing he was the cause of the freezing water.

Al laughed as he heard Scorpius' yelp of surprise. He hadn't been expecting what happened next, though. His jaw dropped as Scorpius pushed him out from under the hot water, and he stared at Scorpius in disbelief as he pressed his back against the shower wall. Scorpius...had never stood up to him like this before, and Al wasn't so sure he liked it. His glowered at Scorpius' comment, though his lips were parted in complete shock as he realized...Scorpius never swore. It was almost like he was a different person for a brief second, and Al shook himself out of it as he quickly searched for a snarky remark. "This is really gay, you know," he explained, wondering if Scorpius was aware that they were both completely naked and in the same shower together.

Out of all his anger over the entire shampoo and then cold water debacles, Scorpius had let it slip from his mind that both of them were quite naked. This was definitely the closest he had ever been to another naked person and he wondered why the hell that other person had to be Al Potter. "Whatever," he muttered in reply, reaching for the shampoo, the reason he had really come to the shower in the first place, and squeezed some into his palm. "I'm sure you'll love to run along to your friends and tell them I accosted you in the showers. It's not like I don't know what people say about me behind my back," he said, having heard many taunts and whispers of people saying that not only was he a friendless loser, but also gay. He didn't look at Al, instead closing his eyes as he shampooed his hair.

Al knew he must have come off as some heartless jerk whenever he was around Scorpius, but if one thing was certain it was that he would never make fun of anyone for their sexual orientation, not even Malloy. Still thrown off by the way Scorpius just stood there in the shower, not even the slightest blush on his face as he continued cleaning himself off, Al huffed as he shoved past the blonde and out of the shower. He grabbed a towel and wrapped it low around his hips as he used another to dry off his curls, ignoring the Gryffindor as he slipped on his clean robes and attire. Scorpius was smarter and good with spells. Al was more popular in his own house, but other than that all he really had on Scorpius was confidence. If Scorpius was going to do a 360 and find an ounce of confidence like what he had just shown moments before then Al didn't have much on the guy, and...it would only lead to trouble for the Slytherin. "I won't be telling them about this because nothing happened, got it? I don't need the entire school thinking we hooked up in a shower. Bloody hell, just the thought is..." He shuddered as he adjusted his robes and ran his fingers through his damp hair. "Next time you jump into a shower with me, I'll hex you." With that, Al turned on his heel and quickly made his way out of the showers, not wanting to think about the fact that Scorpius was definitely a lot less scrawny than he had been last year.

Scorpius kept his eyes to himself as he continued to shower, rinsing the shampoo out of his hair and then using the soap to wash his body. He thought of what Al had said, that this was quite 'gay', but he tried not to let it get to him. He just needed a warm shower and seeing as he was in the bathroom first, he was going to get his damn shower. When Al moved out of the shower, Scorpius let out a small sigh of relief now that he was alone and in peace. In fact, he felt much better knowing that he could shower without another naked person at his side. Another naked person who was very wet and who Scorpius very much so hated. He felt his stomach clench and told himself he was just nauseated by Al's presence. He made a face of disgust, one he was sure that Al couldn't see, when the Slytherin mentioned the idea of them hooking up. Never. Never ever ever.The thought was repulsive and awful. "It'll never happen again, promise," he snorted in reply to Al's final statement. He was relieved when Al left the room and quickly finished his shower. As he towel dried and then threw on his clothes, he thought briefly of his luck, for Al really hadn't insulted him that much. Once dressed, he then left the showers and headed up to Gryffindor Tower.
