He looked up at her with a expression that was a cross between hurt, upset, and angry. "Penny, you hurt me. You know you did it, so don't act like you didn't."

"Marcus I-I never...I know I hurt you I-I thought...i don't know. I guess I was just stupid" she looked at him, the pain and hurt clear on her face

"My question is... Why did you say yes? Why did you ever say yes to go to the ball with me? Why did you kiss me? Why Penny? That's all I'm asking is why." He keeps his gaze on his guitar not wanting to look at her.

Penny gaped at Marcus, tears springing to her eyes "You know why. I was horrible. I-I was a tramp Marcus. You're right. i should just leave..." she looked down, not wanting him to see the tears in her eyes. she'd thought that MAYBE she could have salvaged this. but apparently this kid was gonna grow up fatherless

Marcus didn't say anything, he didn't look at her and he didn't say anything to her. He just sat there and looked down at his guitar.

she struggled to stand and finally got to her feet. "I guess I'll just go then? I-I really am sorry Marcus."

"I'm sure you are Penny.... I'm sure you are." He says in a somewhat sarcastic tone. He stands up next to her and looks her right in the eye and say's "I gave up so much to try and be with you Penny, and you turned me down. I wrote songs for you, and I bet you wouldn't even care. I haven't snogged another girl in over a week, and you still don't care." He still had that look on his face, the upset/angry/hurt one... "What more do I need to do for you?"

she looked straight into his eyes and couldn't find any words to say "Marcus...I-" she broke off, covering her face with her hands. why couldn't she be with Marcus? why did she have to hang onto someone who so obviously didn't care about her? why did she do this to him?

He looks down to the ground because looking her in the eyes made him even more upset and made him want to pull her into a HUG and never let go. "Whatever Penny."
