Ginny entered the Burrow through the door in the kitchen, surprised to see that her mum wasn't in the kitchen. "Mum? Dad?" she called out, sure that someone had to be home. Walking further into the house, she saw her dad sitting in the family room. "Hi dad," she smiled, moving into the room and dropping a kiss to his cheek before sitting down on the couch.

"Hello Ginny," Arthur said, looking at his daughter curiously. "I didn't know you were stopping by today; your mum didn't mention anything. Or at least I don't think she did." Arthur was fairly certain that he had paid close attention to everything his wife had said that morning; he wouldn't have forgotten something like his daughter coming to visit.

"I hadn't planned on stopping by," she replied with a small smile. "Harry's working late at the ministry tonight and with the kids at school, I thought it'd be nice to have some time with my parents. Though, mum doesn't seem to be around," she frowned, wondering if her mum was out or perhaps napping. "Is that alright?" she asked, hoping she hadn't interrupted any plans her parents may have had.

"It's perfectly fine with me. We don't have any special plans, just a quiet night at home," Arthur said, smiling. It was nice to see his daughter, but he couldn't help but wonder what the real reason for her visit was. "Your mum's running a few quick errands, but she'll back soon. How are James, Al, and Lily?"

"Oh, good," she smiled, glad to not have interrupted any sort of special evening they might have had. "The kids are all good from what they tell me. Though, they don't send many letters home," she said with a small sigh, sort of wishing that her kids would keep her and Harry in the loop more. "I'm excited to see them for the easter holidays. I managed to convince Harry into letting the kids each invite a friend to stay for the week." Ginny was quiet for a moment before adding, "I think Al is the only one bringing a significant other home."
