Lupin House

So today was an awesome day at the Lupin house. It's been Kiora and Remus at home all day. First they started off their day with a lovely game of 'OMG WHAT ARE WE GOING TO WEAR TODAY?' in which Kiora couldn't choose between the pink or the purple outfit so Remus had her close her eyes and point. She ended up in the purple outfit, which of course she looked adorable in. Then they had a nummy breakfast - yummy juice and some nummy..stuff. Something good anyway. Luckily Kiora wasn't feeling the whole 'let's make a mess of our food' this morning so neither of them end up wearing any food.
THEN they decided to go out for a lovely little walk, where Remus ended up carrying Kiora the whole time cause she refused to be taken out any other way. It started raining though so they went back home and Remus read for a little bit by the awesome fireplace while Kiora played with Neville the duck and tied her daddy's shoelaces together. Which was all good fun until Remus tried to stand up. He fell over and Kiora giggled lots, crawling onto his back to lay down and drool in his hair. They ended up like that for a bit cause Kiora decided then was a good time to take a nap. Remus thought it was too cute to get up and move her so he just snoozed too, until Kiora woke up and announced that she was hungry. They had a nummy lunch - with chocolate for dessert of course - then Remus read a few stories to Kiora until the rain stopped. Then they went outside to feed the duck family at the pond. After that they went back inside to wait for Hermione to get home and Remus ended up falling asleep on the couch, Kiora laying on his stomach and nomming on his shirt slightly.
And that's how Hermione will find them when she gets home.

Hermione would like to respond, but she died of cute.

Well, Hermione has just had a long day at work, and is very glad to be walking in the front door. She puts her bag down in its proper spot and shrugs her robes off, walking into the living room to see Remus snoozing on the couch and Kiora nomming on his shirt, creating a pretty big drool patch.
"Hey, baby girl, how does Daddy's shirt taste?" she murmurs, smiling because she can't help but smile when she's with her family.
"Mummmmmmmmmmmmmm!" Kiora squeals, flailing.
Hermione picks Kiora up for a cuddle and swings her leg over Remus' lap, straddling him and watching his face as he slowly wakes up. "Wake up, honey," she says softly.
"WAKE UP DADDY!" Kiora bellows.

*huggles Mya cause NO ONE can do cute like us* <3

Remus startles awake slightly when he hears Hermione's voice and then hears Kiora's more high pitched voice shouting. "Well, I think someone was nomming on my shirt." he laughs, feeling the wet spot on his shirt. "Hey, love. How was your day?" he reaches up, caressing Hermione's face softly. And right now he couldn't think of a better way to be woken up. Seeing his wife and daughter first thing just made him super happy.

I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT FABTOR COMES IN FOR A CLOSE SECOND.
AND THE FABTOR BABY WANTS TO HAVE PLAY DATES WITH KIORA <3

Hermione giggles slightly. "Way to be nice and quiet, baby girl."
Kiora just looks at her as if to say 'what?' which makes Hermione giggle all the more. She tilts her head into Remus' touch a little more because it's the best feeling in the world. "Yeah, she got you. And how was your day, my two favourite people?" she asks, resettling herself so that she's laying half on Remus, Kiora occupying the other half of Remus' chest while Hermione's face snuggles into Remus' neck.
Kiora gurgles happily, drooling on Remus' shirt some more. "Duck-ducks and snoozes and woclate!" she announces.

Remus chuckles and rearranges himself slightly so they can all be comfortable on the couch together. "We had a lot of fun, didn't we, baby girl? Even went for a short walk until it started raining. Daddy had to do all the walking cause someone refused to leave the house unless I was carrying her." Kiora giggles and blinks innocently.

Hermione giggles too and reaches up to kiss Remus' cheek. Her hand comes up to brush lightly over Kiora's dark gold hair. "Daddy spoils you, baby girl. Did you get wet in the rain? Did Daddy bring you home and dry you off?"
Kiora giggles and nods. "Daddy walk," she chatters, clearly finding it hilarious that she got to be carried around like a little princess all day. Oh, wait, to Remus, she IS.
"And what did Daddy make you for lunch?" she asks, because she hates that feeling of having missed out on Kiroa and Remus' day when she has to go to work.
"Woclate!" Kiora squeals, flailing her arms about.
Hermione just looks at Remus.

Yeah, Remus had no problem carrying Kiora around all day. No problem whatsoever. He snorts and lightly toys with a bit of Hermione's hair as he ignores her stare. "We had more than that for lunch. Someone had nummy apple stuff again - without the mess, thankfully. Chocolate was just for dessert." Kiora continues squealing and flailing and babbling on about woclate.

Hermione smiles, placated by that. She closes her eyes and sighs happily as Remus toys with her hair. Coming home to this always made having to go to work worthwhile. "Good. Are you hungry now? Should I make some dinner?" she offers, snuggling up close anyway because she's so comfortable here right now.

"Hm, sort of. How about you, baby girl? Think we should eat dinner now or continue cuddling here on the couch?" Which is the preferable option of course.

"Cuggles!" Kiora demands, her little hands flailing out and latching onto her parents, trying to hold them all together.
Hermione chuckles and happily continues snuggling with her family, first kissing Kiora's forehead, then Remus' cheek. "I suppose we could order in," she suggests with a little grin, because that way they get to do both. Plus you can tell how serious Hermione is about this snuggling business because she's not even stressing about the nutritional demerits of takeout. "Pizza or Chinese?"

Remus lets out a dramatic gasp. "Order in? That must be...quite unhealthy. Let's do it." he laughs, kissing Hermione's forehead then Kiora's. He didn't really care what they ate for dinner as long as he got to still continue snuggling with his family. "I don't know which to get though...so how about you two decide."

Kiora decides she likes all this kissing that's going on and gurgles happily, crawling up Remus' chest a little further so she can give him a kiss on the cheek too. Hermione smiles, because her daughter is just the most gorgeous little girl, and summons the cordless phone to her waiting hand. "Hmm, what do we think, baby girl? Pizza or Chinese?"
Kiora tilts her head to the side and considers, even though she actually has no clue what either of those foods are. She looks between her parents for clues, but finding none, she goes it alone. "Ch-ese," she says, greaming because it sounds like cheese to her, and cheese is a good thing.
Hermione grins back, smooths Kiora's hair back off her perfect little face, and dials, ordering enough food for the three of them, plus leftovers because Mya thinks the whole point of Chinese is that you get to have it for lunch the next day. Uh huh. She hangs up and nuzzles Remus' neck affectionately. "Should be here soon. Of course, I just realised that when it gets here, I'm going to have to get up to answer the door, which is a shame. I'm so comfy right now."

Kiora decides that there should not be any moving whatsoever from this couch right now.

SO.

That means they'll just have to magically open the door when the delivery guy comes....or figure something out, cause she doesn't want there to be any getting up.

Hermione's cool with that. She thinks magic should be used for everything ever now, and they can just stay here and cuddle forever. Yep. And since she's going to need Summoning charms a lot now, she decides to practice by summoning Neville the duck from where he's resting on the floor, handing him over to Kiora and making little ducky kisses on her nose. Mya is dying because Amethyst found a picture of a kid with a rubber ducky. Best thing ever, NGL.

It was kind of hard to find that one too...VOTEVER. IT'S CUTE.

Kiora squeals happily and decides that mummy and daddy need ducky kisses too. "QUACK, QUACK!' She makes little kissing noises as she taps Neville the duck's beak on each of their noses.

Remus doesn't know what to do about their not moving situation...other than just opening the door magically...that could always work. He watches Kiora as she happily plays with Neville the duck - yet still making sure she keeps snugly close to her mummy and daddy. "Hm, I don't really want to get up either. This is too comfy...hope the delivery guy doesn't mind." he kisses Hermione softly and tries to figure out how they're going to eat then once the food gets here...cause that could be a problem as well.

Hermione thinks Remus should just be a table, since he's already kinda a bed for Hermione and Kiora. Uh huh. Hermione smiles and kisses Remus back, then giggles as they're showered with ducky kisses too. "Well, quack quack to you too, Neville," she laughs, then showers Kiora's little face with kisses, laughing as Kiora squeals and flails. And then, they are interrupted by the evil doorbell. DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN.

Kiora agrees with mummy.
Daddy makes a great bed so he should make a great table as well.

She looks up when the doorbell rings and then turns her face to mummy and daddy, wide eyed and slightly pouting. "Move now?" Her tiny hand clung to Hermione's shirt sleeve, the other dropping Neville the duck to the floor so she can hold on to Remus' shirt as well.

Remus chuckles when he sees Kiora's wide eyed look and smiles reassuringly at her. "No, sweetie. We're not going to move now...though eating could be kind of difficult with us lying here..." He wouldn't mind being a table though.
