The Three Broomsticks

Ange laughed. "Daddy-daughter time? That sounds so adorable, I bet Remus just has a ball with Kiora," she smiled. "I will talk to the girls as soon as I can, figure out when this will work."

"Sounds good," Hermione says enthusiastically, and finishes her second drink. "And yes, he does. It's such a gorgeous sight, seeing the two of them together... She's going to grow up such a spoiled little princess, though, with the way he treats her!"

She smiled. "I can imagine. She's going to have a lot of people looking out for her and taking care of her."

Hermione snorts. "She's going to hate us all for being so overprotective! But I still don't care what Viktor says - I don't want her on a broomstick!"

[i totally did not even REALIZE this was posted. wow. anyway. can we just pause here for now since the stupid Krack kids won't get their act together tonight?]

Ange grinned. "Aw come on, Quidditch is fun! And flying is just amazing," she laughed.

"Yes, I very much enjoyed it when Viktor took me flying. But I don't want to think of my newborn daughter a hundred feet in the air on a stick with little twigs on the end anytime soon, thanks!" Hermione laughs. She frowns. Hmm, two butterbeers down.... she's going to need to visit the bathroom soon.

Ange gave in. "Okay okay, so not RIGHT away," she laughed and realized she was probably going to need a bathroom visit soon. That Butterbeer goes through a girl fast.

Hermione smiles and stands up. "I think I need to go to the ladies'. All that butterbeer you know....."

Angela nodded. "Yea, that's probably a good idea. I'll go with." She smiled and stood up as well.

[grah. i'm tired. and i want to go to bed. but i cant. because this is taking for fucking ever.]

Hermione smiles. "Sure," she says, leading Ange off towards the bathroom and its unsuspecting inhabitants.

Padma walks calmly into the Three Broomsticks and sits at the counter. "Two Butterbeers, please," she says to Madam Rosmerta. While their Butterbeer is being fetched, Padma said to Abby, "It's such a lovely day out! And I can't wait for nighttime... I get too obsessed about Quidditch, I swear," she added, laughing.

Abby walked through the door of the Three Broomsticks and into the low rumble and bustle of the place. She breathed in deeply, smiling as she smelled butterbeer, toasted crumpets, sandwiches ... She was hungry. She sat at the counter by Padma and when Madam Rosmerta brought them their butterbeers, she asked for a bacon sandwich as well. "No way. My dad is obsessed with quidditch. And then my mum is the complete opposite ... funny how that works." She sipped her drink and blushed when she got froth on her nose.

Padma also took a sip of Butterbeer, then giggled and said, "Neither of my parents get it, but my sister is on the cheerleading squad for Gryffindor, so I suppose we've all got some kind of Quidditch sentiment - whether good or bad - inside of us." After smelling food, Padma decided she'd better order something too. "I'll take a watercress sandwich as well," she told the waitress.

Abby thanked a waitress for her sandwich and hungrily took a bite. It was heaven. She hadn't been hungry at breakfast and had only eaten an orange. "So, what's your favourite class?"

The sandwich was delivered to Padma, and she began to eat. Yum, yum. "Probably Potions," Padma said, reflecting on it. "But Ancient Runes is really awesome, too, and so is Arithmancy. What about you?"

"I enjoy Potions, too," replied Abby, munching on her sandwich. "I'm not taking Ancient Runes ... it looked really complicated, haha. I really enjoy Charms, but Defence is a lot of fun as well." She continued to eat, staring absentmindedly at the wall behind the counter. "Hey, that guy was sort of creepy, eh?"

"Yeah, I like DADA too, but I liked the D.A. more," Padma replied, giggling a little bit. "What guy?" she asked absentmindedly, but a couple seconds after she said this, the Hufflepuff zoomed into her mind. "Eh, well, a little bit," she agreed. "I guess you just get some kids who are players at every school, so he's the player of Hogwarts." She grinned.

Abigail lit up. "Yeah! I loved the DA, that was so much fun. And really educational, as well. And that guy ...," she grimaced and then shook her head. "I'd never expect it of a Hufflepuff, but that just goes to show, doesn't it? There I go, judging books by their covers. I mean, not all Slytherins are mean, right?" She finished her sandwich and licked her fingers.

She finishes her food, and only her Butterbeer remains. "Harry had such a great idea, starting that," Padma said, nodding. "Well. He... It's true, Slytherins aren't all bad. I met some nice ones, as well as some not-so-nice ones. And the same goes for Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs. I guess it's all around. But hey, I don't mind judging books by their covers, it's pretty descriptive." She laughed, grinning at Abby.

"Yeah, you're right." Abby sipped the final bit of her butterbeer, and, smacking her lips, pulled out 'Flying with the Harpies' by Gwenog Jones. "I'm glad I bought this ... it says in here that her favourite move is the Dopplebeat Defence, that's interesting ..."

"The Dopplebeat Defense?" Padma asked, also looking at the book. "Huh, that's interesting. It'd be tricky to pull off... and considering that we don't have a full team, that might not work," she added, giggling. "Eh. There aren't many Ravenclaws that exist, unfortunately. So I guess it's only natural that we have a small, incomplete - but awesome - team."
