The Three Broomsticks

She laughed "I wouldn't exactly say 'Okay' but I'm done with him. He's an ass. I've moved on" she smiled at him and chewed on her bottom lip a little.

"Good, you don't need trash like him around to bring you down. I heard he sucks in bed anyway." He took another drink from his butterbeer to hide the slight blush from where she was biting at her lip.

["I heard he sucks in bed anyway." That's not what I've been told.]

She wasn't going to mention the reason she had never been here was because she was too fat to make it down from the castle. She probably would have died..quite literally died, from overworking herself. She just smiled and blushed some more now. "So, what is there to do here?"

"Well, there's lots of things." He said and smiled at her. "There's honeyduke's and zonko's. Which are pretty much the big hot spots on Hogsmeade weekends. But that's not all I mean, there's the shrieking shack, the Hogs head." He said and smiled at her. "Too many things to name." He said and took another swig of his drink.

She laughed "Thanks Paul. You're right. He's just a piece of scum worth no one's time. Except maybe the bitch he's with" she said softly, stifling a giggle. She looked up at him again and gave him a genuine smile "You're really sweet. I'm glad we bumped into each other that day. You've been a wonderful friend to me and I really feel like I can open up to you." she hesitated before letting out what was on her mind, fearful she might turn him away, but she plowed on "I really like you Paul. I hope that's okay. I understand if you don't feel the same way, but I'm the kind of girl who tells it like it is." she bit her lip anxiously, waiting for a response

"Sounds amazing. I've heard about the Shrieking Shack. Sounds awesome. I wanna go there sometime. I love things that are suppose to be haunted." She smiled and took another drink.

He grinned at her. "Yeah? Well then we should go there sometime." He said still grinning at her.

She smiled like a loon. "You'd really go with me!" She was still shocked that he wanted to be in the same room as her, let alone hang out.

"Of course I would." He said and smiled at her. "Why wouldn't I?" He asked, curious to why she thought he wouldn't.

She blushed again. "Well, I'm just not used to people wanting to spend time with me. Usually people would just look at me, disgusted, then make some rude remark and walk off. Gits."

He shook his head and grinned at her. "Well...I love spending time with you Millicent." He said and finished off his drink. "Who cares what all those ass holes think of you."

Paul was not paying attention to what Marcus and his bitch were doing. He was too busy staring at Penny's eyes. The ones that Marcus had turned down for some hunk of dumb meat like the one he'd dragged here tonight for the sole purpose of attempting to make Penny and Paul feel awkward. Unfortunately for him, he'd failed at that plan. When Penny said she liked him, he stayed silent a moment, trying to think of what to do or say. He didn't usually get told things like that. "Wow, really?" He looked around randomly for a moment before looking back at Penny. "I um... well. I like you too, actually. I think. Yeah. I do. You're fun to be around, at least, when you're feeling cheerful that is." He laughed a bit, glad she was cheered up. He didn't deal with sad girls very well.

She smiled. "I'd kinda love to see how they'd react to me now." She shrugged. "Maybe I'll find out. I haven't seen anyone really. Just you and Dee."

Penny smiled widely "Really? I mean...I know I can come on too strong sometimes, but you're not the kind of person I'd play games with. You're too sweet. And I think I need someone like that in my life right now." she scooted her chair around the table, to get a bit closer to Paul. She looked up at him and said softly "I really want to do something" before she leaned forward and pressed her lips to his softly

Paul gasped softly as suddenly her lips were on his but found that it wasn't really unpleasant or anything. Actually it was sort of nice. She was quite forward, but for a guy like Paul, that was almost necessary. He finally gave in a closed his eyes, his hand finding the side of her face.

Penny smiled against his lips when she felt Paul give into the kiss. She could be really happy with him. He was sweet and kind, completely different from any boy she'd dated before. She raised her hand to the back of his head and pressed lightly before pulling away and smiling at him. "That was nice. Really nice" she stared right into his eyes

That's right, Marcus. They don't want to mess with Pansy. XD

Paul thought about saying something but knew he would just embarrass himself if he did. So instead he just said "Yeah" and leaned back again, playing with his half drank mug of butterbeer.

Penny watched him carefully, trying to decide how to continue. She bit her bottom lip and asked "Do you want to come somewhere with me?"

Marcus and Millicent left to go to the slytherin party. Yup.

"Well, that depends where and if I can get home in time by my curfew." He asked her, drinking the rest of his butterbeer.

She grinned, "well..." she took in a big breath and continued "There's this party going on tonight in the Slytherin common room. It's kind of tradition for us. I was hoping you might want to come with me?" she smiled sheepishly at him.

"Um, well." He had a massive internal battle for a few seconds which felt like a few hours before he finally decided. "Sure. It couldn't hurt anything." He shrugged and stood up, leaving a few coins on the table to pay for their drinks.

She smiled widely and took his hand "Great! I'll try to take it easy on you" she winked and lead him out of the restaurant
