Marcus looked over at the couch when he heard Penny and walked over and sat next to her. "Hey, sorry I left you this morning...I had to leave but I didn't want to wake you. You looked tired."

"I--I went to visit..Tam today. I haven't really talked to her in a while so I went to see her. You know...see how she's doing."

Penny's stomach knotted. Tam. her cousin who had gotten her fake pregnant. "oh...right. sure. understandable" she kept her eyes to the ground

Penny felt slightly uncomfortable and uneasy when Marcus didn't finish his sentence. she sighed and leaned into him "just...let me know next time...before you go?"
