An Unused Potions Room

Neville shrugged and nodded slightly. "Yeah, A little bit." He said with a small smile. "You?"

Audrey nodded, "Yeah, do you want to get some dinner?" She kept holding his hand and walked with him direction dining hall where Nev can now post and pick a table.

Draco is in here working on a potion for Slughorn when he realized what day and time it was. He pulled out a scrap of parchment and quickly sent a note flying off.

Pansy had wandered the castle a while now, checking his room, the common room, the library, great hall, kitchen, room of requirement, a couple empty classrooms, before coming across the unused potions room where she finally saw Draco. She had her jacket on still, as she'd planned to head outside to look around the grounds for him soon if she hadn't been able to find him inside the castle. She walked up behind him quietly, peeking over his shoulder. "Going well?"
I guess she'll be wearing this because it's sort of comfy and warm enough for a quick run to Hogsmeade, yep.

Draco heard the door open and assumed it was Slughorn or a younger student bringing a message from him. When he heard Pansy's voice from next to his ear he turned to glance at her before re-focusing on the potion, "Hey, yeah it is." He picked up the ingredients from the table next to him and started slowly adding them, stirring in between additions.

Pansy sat down on a stool nearby, resting her elbows on the table as she watched him work. He'd always been good at potions, something she'd never quite perfected, and she liked to watch. "What is it?" She'd tried to guess, looking over the ingredients and things he had scattered around, but it was hopeless. She wasn't taking potions this year, she didn't have to, so she had no idea what it was he was working on.

Draco stayed silent for a moment as he focused on adding the next couple of ingredients and stirring the proper amount of times before setting the little clock next to him to the the brew simmer for a few minutes. "It's a new project I'm working on. A graduation project if you will. I'm designing a potion that will change people's nervous systems. It'll induce numbness or make them more sensitive." He turned back to the potion as the clock beeped, adding the last ingredient then stirring it.

Pansy watched him quietly, not really moving or touching anything for fear of messing him up. She listened as he explained what it was, nodding and glancing at it again. She looked at Draco, shaking her head slightly, her facial expression showing her amazement with his brilliance and intelligence when it came to thinks like potions. "Interesting. Way cool, actually. I guess that could really have a lot of uses, couldn't it?" She watched him stir in another ingredient, getting up to stand behind him and get another look at it. Slipping her arms carefully around him, making sure not to obstruct him from working on the potion, she rested her cheek on his shoulder blade for a moment before leaning up on her tiptoes to kiss the back of his neck as he leaned over the small cauldron.

Draco was finishing up stirring the potion when she slid her arms around him. He felt her soft kiss on the back of his neck and sighed slightly. He nodded to her question, "Yes it could. Slughorn has only taken on two or three of us for these projects and it was all dependent on us giving him a project topic last year." He wanted so badly to push her away, canceling today, asking Slughorn if he could work today, it had all been part of the plan. Now she was here, reminding him of exactly why he was with her in the first place. Just by being there Draco wanted to just toss his potion to the side and take her in his arms. He didn't want to be that awful boyfriend to her, the one who shoved her aside and hurt her but if that was what it took he would have to do it. Instead of turning around to face her he put the lid on the potion, gently unwrapped her arms from around him and started cleaning up the table.

"Oh, so you were even using your big sexy brain last year too." She laughed, but it faded away as he moved her arms from around him and stepped away to clean up. She chewed up on her lip for a second, watching him move away. She quickly scooped up a few things and helped him put it all away before she moved in between him and the table and took his face in her hands, looking up at him with -that- look. "So we're really not going to Hogsmeade today? I guess if you've got better things to do..." She shrugged, silently indicated the cauldron behind her. But in an instant she was leaning up into him, kissing him and pressing her body close to his. She tried to remember what she'd been doing that night in the alley when she'd made him groan, hoping to do that again now. Maybe she could convince him to come along anyway. She pressed her hips closer to his, pulling his head toward her as she kissed him. She felt a little silly for trying to get his attention back this way, but she missed him. He'd been absent a while now, and she didn't like it being so cold between them.

Draco nodded gratefully at her when she helped him clean up but then all of a sudden she had inserted herself between him and his potion and was talking about going out again. Before he had to find another way to deter her she was all over him. Again. All of a sudden she was the one initiating the physical contact between them and it was odd yet greatly satisfying. He was rather amazed that this was what him pulling away did, not leaving her trying to talk to him overmuch, more her constantly touching him. As she slid in closer to him and pressed her body up against his he slid his arms around her waist, inside her coat, and under her very attractive backside to turn them and pick her up, sitting her on the table in front of him so their faces were level. His lips still pressed against hers in the kiss he kept one arm around her waist and his other hand slowly slid up her back, fingers slipping under the back of her shirt.

Pansy didn't quite understand, but the more he slipped away from her, the more she wanted to find him, to be around him, to try and get the affection from him that she was missing while he was absent. She gasped softly as his hands moved around her inside her coat and he lifted her up onto the table, not stopping the kiss the whole time. She kept her hands on his jaw, his still resting on her waist. She tilted her head a little, leaning forward slightly as she pressed more into the kiss. It seemed that the longer she went without kissing him, the more she missed it and wanted it, and the bolder she was about getting it. Her breath caught for only a fraction of a second as she felt his fingers moving on the skin of her back, but she continued kissing him nonetheless.

Draco decided pretty much on the spot when she didn't pull away from him that he should never ever speak to her again if this was the result. As she deepened the kiss even more he moved in closer to the table and pulled her in closer to him so their bodies were flush against each other. Slowly his fingers traced over the skin of her back and slid slightly higher. He wasn't sure what had caused this change in her, if it really was his standoffishness, but it was almost as though she was a different person.

Pansy gasped yet again when he pulled her toward him, their bodies closer and him standing between her legs that dangled off the side of the table. As his hand began to move higher, something her brain clicked back into place. Sure, she missed him, sure she missed his physical presence and the way he made her feel good inside, but this wasn't the way to go about making sure he was still there and paying attention to her. And though she knew that, she had also found this to be a pretty effective way to regain his attention, and she was torn between letting it continue and using this method regularly - though she hoped that wouldn't be necessary - or if she should pull away from him and just talk about it and se things straight. But while she pondered her two options, she allowed it all to continue, her hands sliding down his neck onto his chest where they rested as she continued to kiss him.

Draco votes to continue with this method. Mmhmm. Yep, he really likes this. His hand on her back stopped moving, well maybe it slid up a little more but effectively it just stayed there, under her shirt resting on her warm skin. His other hand slid around her waist and down her leg, his fingers played out on her outer thigh, tracing over the denim of her jeans. He continued to kiss her, trying to remind himself that this wasn't a reward for ditching their date.

Well, sorry for Draco, but this method is probably not going to continue if he continues to ignore her. She noted his hand moving up just a little further on her back, otherwise becoming stationary. It was his other hand's turn apparently to move, his fingers tracing along her jeans. He hadn't made her uncomfortable with it yet, didn't seem to go too far or anything. For now, she was just happy at the center of his attention, somewhere she hadn't been in a few days. Even while with him, it was like she was at the back of his mind, secondary to so many other things. But right now, she knew she was what he was thinking about, the only thing on his mind, and at least for how it was this second, she was going to enjoy it.

It won't? Well shit. He didn't feel her tense up or even pull away a little at his hand on her thigh but he kept it in place for a few minutes as he kissed her before he started to move his fingers again. Slowly they moved down towards her knee and slid inwards at the same time until his thumb was tracing the inside seam. The palm of his hand hit her knee and he stopped moving, the hand under her shirt still resting around the middle of her back, holding her pressed against him. There was no way he was going to be the one to pull away and end this, no way he was breaking this moment.

Pansy continued to kiss him, the fingers of one hand closing lightly over his tie which I will assume he is wearing since he's probably had a meeting with Professor Slughorn this morning and was probably expected to be in school uniform for it. She used it to pull him closer to her, subconsciously hooking her ankles together behind him. She felt his hand moving down toward her knee, his thumb tracing the inside of her leg slightly. It sent chills up her spine as he did so, causing her to press into the kiss with an ounce more enthusiasm. There hadn't been that crucial point yet, the little step that sets off the alarm in Pansy's mind where the line gets crossed and he gets pushed away, so all was going quite nice and she sighed happily into his mouth as they continued to kiss, his hand resting on her back and her knee, her boots hooked at the ankle behind his back, a much wanted trip to Hogsmeade still on her mind, despite the fact he was probably now thinking about a trip to other places instead.

A trip to somewhere else sounds great, preferably the RoR which would take the form of a bedroom. Draco felt her sigh and took that as a sign that she was enjoying this just as much as he was. He moved in as he felt her feet lock and pulled her in as close as he could, not that there had been much space before but now there was none, her hands trapped between them, one clutching at his tie. The hand on her knee stayed there, his fingers still tracing that seam but his hand on her back started to slide upwards again, the tips almost all the way up to her bra-strap.

Pansy was still too concentrated on the fact that she was currently the center of his world to notice as his fingertips were going ever closer to somewhere they probably shouldn't be unless they were going to make a new step in what they had going on between them. Her hands trapped between their chests, her legs around his hips, she kept kissing him, biting on his lower lip and varying between kissing him almost roughly and gentler, slower pursuing with her lips. However, despite all this, poor Draco can't sweep her away to the Room of Requirement just yet. She might have learned how to make out with him, but taking it elsewhere was a whole other story, one she hardly knew existed.

Draco wouldn't mind taking that new step or twenty more tonight but he knew that she would not agree to at least nineteen of those. Alas this is what happens when you date a unicorn. Draco let her control the pace of the kisses, deciding between rough and gentle, figuring it would keep her as distracted and relaxed as possible. Slowly his fingers moved up just a little further and slowly his thumb traced the bottom of her bra strap before sliding under it.

At least Draco knows. And he picked dating the unicorn anyway, he can deal with it like a big boy. Just like Draco figured, Pansy is distracted rather well by concentrating on the kiss and keeping close to him, the motion of his hands seeming secondary, just a warm extra reminder of how he was holding her so near, something that she hadn't had in too long, though it'd only been a few days. Strange how desperately she missed just being touched by him when she went without it for some time. So when his fingers slipped under her bra strap beneath her shirt, though she paused for a fraction of a fraction of a second and her mind was alerting her that this was new and from here there wasn't a step backward, she ignored it, let it happen for now, attempting to return her attention to the kiss.

Draco was amazed when Pansy seemed to have no reaction to his fingers sliding under her bra so he figured he could move a little bit further. He slid the rest of his fingers under her bra so his whole hand settled there, fingertips under the bra strap and his palm resting below her shoulders. Her skin was so soft and she felt so small and delicate in his arms. His other hand slowly slid up her thigh, his fingers running along the inside seam. He thought that this might just be the point where he got pushed away but if he didn't try then he would never know.

As she felt small to him, his hands on her felt safe, strong, even when they strayed to places they didn't normally go. She was about to make sure he wouldn't try and go any further with her bra, fully intending to keep it on and secure, when his other hand slipped back up her thigh. It wouldn't have been a problem if he had moved his hand along the outside of her leg like he had when moving toward her thigh. But this time his fingers were along the inside. She ignored the tingling that it made shoot up her leg and into her body, knowing that with this he was passing the invisible line she had drawn for herself to be sure nothing like this would get too out of hand. As nice as it might feel, she knew she had to stop it here or there would be another step that you couldn't go backwards from, and two in one day was too many. As his fingers traveled up closer along the inside of her leg, one of her hands escaped from between their chests and landed on his hand, stilling its motion along her leg. She carefully removed her lips from his, blinking slowly and catching her breath as she looked up at him. She was quiet for a moment, just looking at him, her dazed look soon turning into something like puppy dog eyes. "Really though, Draco. I thought we were going to Hogsmeade today."

Draco felt her hand move against his chest and slide down but it never reached where he wanted it to. Instead it took an awful detour and stopped his hand from moving any further. His face stayed neutral as she pulled back and picked up where the conversation had been going before her lips had attacked his. His breathing evening out so that when he spoke his voice was steady, "If you still want to we can go now. The potion needs to sit anyway." He slid his hand down her back and out of her shirt, his other hand moving so that their fingers were entwined in her lap.
