Draco smiled and gave her a soft kiss, "Sleep does mean cuddling, but if you don't eat then there's nothing for me to cuddle." He grinned and kissed her on the nose, glad to see her taking some of the other food, and neatly cleared off his plate, grabbing some more food to re-fill it. There is no such thing as too much food. Ever.

There is definitely such thing as too much food. "Don't be silly. Look, I ate a whole roll and I'm eating sweet potatoes now. So now there is Pansy and a roll and sweet potatoes in her belly for you to cuddle." She laughed, sliding over closer to him and nudging her shoulder into him. "Look, two potato pieces." And she stabbed another with her fork and ate it, yep.

Draco laughed and put an arm around her, eating with one hand now. "Indeed, two whole potato pieces. And a roll too!" He leaned in to her for a second before sitting up again, keeping his arm around her. "I guess I will have something to cuddle tonight. Not," he gave her a look, "That I'm saying you should stop eating. The more the merrier."

Pansy laughed when he pretty much told her to eat more. She picked up another sweet potato chunk with her fork and ate it, winking at Draco. "Pansy, a roll, and three potatoes. Good enough for you?" She laughed, knowing it probably wouldn't be, but it was worth asking she supposed.

Draco laughed, "Not quite. Try a bit more food." He nodded at the plate of chicken, "Try some meat kitten, you need to get more than just potatoes." He finished up his own second plate and relaxed against her to wait for her to finish, and for dessert to arrive.

Pansy picked up a piece of the chicken, nibbling off the end of it. Eventually she ate the whole thing, leaning into Draco's side and wiping her fingers on a napkin. "Better yet? Now you've got Pansy, a roll, three potatoes and some chicken." She grinned up at him, snuggling into his side.

Draco laughed and pressed a kiss to the top of her head, "Almost, let's just get some dessert into you. Okay?" As he spoke the plates changed over and he laughed, "Perfect." He let go of her for a second and picked up a slice of pumpkin pie and some ice cream. He put his arm back around her and took a bite of pie, letting out a happy groan at the perfect deliciousness.

"Well, if you insist." Pansy likes sweet things, yes she does. Her eyes widened a little as the dessert appeared, glancing around and deciding what looked best. She helped herself to some kind of chocolate torte with nice big layers of whipped creme in between. She laughed at his happy groan, taking a big bite of her own dessert. Perfect.

Draco smiled and savoured his pie, taking slow bites. "I don't think I have to insist for you to take dessert." He glanced at her plate and had to nick a bite, it looked so good and chocolaty. He grinned at her and licked his lips to get the extra chocolate and ice cream off.

"Nope. That's the one thing you won't have to tell me twice I guess." She grinned at him, seeing a little bit of chocolate on his lips that he'd left behind even after his pink tongue had darted out and swept it away. Leaning forward, she pressed her lips to his briefly to get it for herself. Pulling away, she smiled up at him almost shyly and turned back to her torte.

Draco smiled when she pulled away, always pleasantly surprised when she did something like that. He brushed a finger over her cheek, his plate now empty. "Whenever you're done now." He was more than happy to sit and wait with her as she ate whatever she wanted.

Pansy blinked a few times at the touch of his finger, smiling softly as she finished her dessert. Scraping up the last bit of it, she licked her spoon clean and sat it down on the table. "All ready." She turned and swung one leg over the bench, took his hand, and then swung her other leg over, tugging him behind her. "Back to the lounge?"

Draco stood up and nodded, "Yep, we have to make sure that your cuddle monster hasn't eaten the sofa pillows." He entwined their fingers and lead her out of the great hall so you can go post back with the troublesome dog.

Draco was sitting at the table with Pansy eating his dinner. He knew that she knew that after dinner he would have to leave to head to the meeting and she would be left behind again. They had been quiet and distant through the meal so far and he couldn't stand it any longer. He put down his knife and reached between them to take her hand, squeezing it gently.

Pansy hadn't eaten much, but that was to be expected. He was leaving after dinner, and she had no appetite. She stared morosely at her plate for much of the time, hardly blinking, hardly breathing except when her lungs reminded her it was required of her. When he took her hand she turned to look at him, leaning over to kiss him gently on the cheek before returning her gaze to her plate, a forgotten half a sandwich shoved to one side.

Draco scooted over and leaned against her slightly, his arm wrapped around hers. He leaned his head against hers for a second before taking the last bite of his dinner and standing up. "I have to go now." He looked at her with a sad expression, "I'm sorry."

Pansy took a small comfort in the closeness, but it was all ripped away when he stood up and announced it was time for him to leave for another of those damn meetings. She blinked up at him sadly, nodding as he looked down at her with much the same expression. She watched him turn to leave, herself rendered immobile for a few horrible seconds before she managed to jump up off the bench and run the few steps after him, grabbing his hand and wrapping her arms around his neck once he'd turned around. Pansy didn't care who might be looking, didn't care what they might think. She just hugged him and buried her face in his shoulder. "I wish you didn't have to. Come back safe."

Draco turned around when she pulled on him and wrapped his arms around her instantly, holding her tight. He pressed his cheek into her hair and stayed silent for a moment before whispering, "I'll do my best and I'll be back as soon as I can be." He pulled back and gave her a long kiss before pulling away, brushing a hand over her cheek and hurrying from the hall, not wanting to be late to such an important meeting.

Pansy watched him go, her arms feeling pointless and empty hanging by her sides. A moment later she left the great hall as well, though Draco was long gone by now. She sighed and wandered back toward the common room to sit by the fire for a while and warm herself back up, inevitably thinking about Draco and how many hours until he'd be back. Too many.

Anna, came in the great hall.She gave a sigh and sat down on the table, she took a peice of blackforest cake and a cheeseburger, and pumpkin juice, she sat sipping her pumpkin juice and wondered if she's see her father at home when she would go fr the holiday's

Draco liked carrying her things and treating her to dinners. It was different from what they had done before but he was willing to bet a whole lot that it was what would make a difference this time. This time they were starting a proper relationship the way they should have in the first place and until they were forced apart by their parents or some other force beyond their control. Sitting down at the table he slipped the bags under the table and gave Max a quick pet before he reached over the table and started to serve himself.

Well Pansy likes how it's going this time. Quite proper and romantic at times and just... as it should be. It will definitely make a difference in the long run, because this time they're working on an actual relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend, rather than just skipping from best friends to snogging in the hidden hallways. This time, they were working on it for the long haul, even if they both knew they wouldn't get to actually go long-term, no matter how much they wanted to. He just wasn't on her parents list of suitors, and she definitely wasn't on his fathers list for potential Malfoy wives. She petted Max as he snuck under the table, having done that a few times before. Pansy laughed a little as Max rested his chin on her knee, waiting expectantly for some snacks.

It really is much better this way, and they're still learning about how this works so Draco's just glad he's doing it all with Pansy, someone who if he makes a mistake will, generally, forgive him and laugh about it later. He pulled over the potatoes and handed them to her, not asking if she wanted any because he knew the answer was either yes or he was going to give her some because they had skipped lunch and she needed food. He grabbed some steak from the other side of the table and cut off a chunk, sliding it under for Max to enjoy while they ate their food.

Pansy gladly took the potatoes from him, because she always likes potatoes. Besides, she knew very well that he would be giving her some whether she got them herself or not. After scooping out a satisfactory amount, she passed them to him, because she also knew that he would be wanting some as well. And she would rather him have his own than have him stealing hers. She also got herself a little bit of the steak he was eating, cutting it up and handing nearly half of it to Max, who gladly licked her fingers clean afterwards. She laughed a little, turning her attention to eating the awesome looking potatoes which were her absolute favorite.

Draco smiled at her when she put the potatoes on his plate and grabbed some peas and carrots, offering her some for a second before putting a small helping on her plate. She now had a nice meal there, not too much of anything really but enough for Draco to be happy. As long as she ate it not Max. "So Pans, stupid question maybe but when exactly is the charms exam?" He knew what he had to do in the classes he didn't have with her but if they shared the class then what was the point of him remembering things?
