You should read The Blue Sword. It was the first of her book that I read. I loved it!

An author you might like if you like McKinley is Mercedes Lackey~ some of her stuff can get a bit adult...but her books are amazing. Fire Rose is the retelling of Beauty and the Beast, and Phoenix and Ashes is the retelling of Cinderella. They're the first two books i read by her and i fell in loooove. She makes magic and epic quests and true love amazing

I love Mercedes Lackey... but I haven't read those books. *writes down for May* I will have free time once May gets here, and I will borrow those from the library then!

!!! yay a Lackey fan!! The Elemental Masters series by her is REALLY good and so is the Obisidan Trilogy and the Phoenix trilogy (i think that's it's name, it's the sequel series to Obsidian) i also like her Alexandrian (?? i forget lol..) series...The Shadow of the Lion was the first book i read that had smut. And and and her Valdemar series!! the entire thing! AMAZING!!

And then Bedlam's Bard is great...and Ill Met By Moonligh (forget the series name, it's about Queen Elizabeth). lol i've read a LOT of her books but not near all of them :3

I have read some of her Elemental AMsters Series, and The Black Swan and Fortune's Fool. I have also read a series she cowrote with Andre Norton... The Elvenbane Series. It was amazing! I need to read more of her. So, I need to get to the library, or get more Barnes and Noble gift certificate.

yep!! i haven't read all of those, i read her Acorna series, and then the sequel to that, and then she also had another series about selkies...i forget the name. th efirst book was Maelstrom i think
