I'm bored right now so I'm going to go start it....

LONDON 09 - my mom and I went for 8 days... we saw:
[this is plays and musicals.... and opera]
Sister Act
Mouse Trap
Calender Girls
King & I
Hamlet
Oliver
As You Like It
Madame Butterfly
........ I think that's all we saw that trip........ but I feel like I'm forgetting one....... oh well........

ALSO what I'm going to work on now will be a list of broadway only shows......... I have yet to organize my off broadway playbills

Sister Act is (in my opinion) one of the best new musicals in a long time. It was really cleverly written and staged with amazing music by Alan Menken.

I saw Hamlet with JUDE LAW..... who was incredible!!

OLIVER WAS AMAZING!!!!!!! Rowan Atkinson was Fagin! Oliver's always been on of my favourite musicals so seeing in at the Palladium was SO GREAT!!!!!!!!!

I love the Cast Recording for Sister Act!!! Katie Rowley-Jones is my fave.

Mmmmm... Jude Law.

Also, I really didn't like the girl who played Nancy (Jodie)... she won a reality show to get the role, but I didn't think she deserved to win.

Angelina, GOSH GIRL! You have seen 'Wicked' a lot of times! That's crazy! I've seen it twice and I absolutely LOVE it! Elphaba is my dream role.

Someday I'll go see Phantom of the Opera...some day haha. It's my mom's favorite musical of all time, I really want to get tickets for it and surprise her as a birthday or mother's day gift some year.
I've seen plenty of musicals but they were done by my high school haha. I have gone to see 'Hair' on Broadway though. I LOVE 'HAIR'. Fantastic and very fun. I saw Nine when it came out in theaters. That was really cool.

The only musical not done by a company in my town I've actually seen is Wicked. My high school does pretty good musicals though. I've been in the pit orchestra for the last one and this one: Cinderella (the most annoying music EVER!) and Aida. The year before we did Les Mis, but I just watched. I totally cried too.

Cinderella isn't that annoying, Fred. I LOVE the music for that show....
LES MIS! Ugh, jealousy! It came to our town about 5 years back and I TOTALLY MISSED IT! I was bummed.
Has anyone heard of 'Whistle Down The Wind'? SUCH an amazing show! I got to meet the cast of that (programed signed to prove it!) after the show. The main guy was REEEEEALLY CUTE!

This year my high school is performing Cats (I LOVE THAT MUSICAL) and I'm so sad that I couldn't come home from college to see it. Last year they did Les Mis and I cried it was beautiful.

Well, when you're playing the music 3+ days a week for a few months, "The Prince is Giving a Ball" (which we renamed THE KING IS HAVING A DANCE then proceeded to sing it loudly and obnoxiously 'cause we're cool like that) starts to get a little annoying and a lot repetitive.
