The Potions Classroom

Scorpius let out a sound of annoyance then turned to glare at Al. "I am not thinking about your mouth. The only thing that comes to mind when your mouth is involved is how utterly effing annoying it is and how Hogwarts would be a much better place if you just never opened it," he said, crossing his arms as he watched Al finish up the potion. He felt more than childish, knowing that their argument was stupid, but he couldn't help himself. Al Potter was just so unbelievably irritating.

Al hid his shock the best he could at Scorpius' comment. He had spent the last five years insulting Scorpius, but...he'd never actually been insulted himself. He didn't want to admit it, but Scorpius' words had actually hit a nerve and now Al had no idea what he was supposed to say. The potion was finished so all Scorpius would have to do is clean up and bring Slughorn their sample. Setting the stirrer down, Al glared over at Scorpius as he shoved him square in the chest. "Fuck you," he muttered before grabbing his book and heading out the door without looking back.

Scorpius really had expected Al to just sneer or make some sort of insulting comment. Being shoved though was something that he hadn't seen coming and quickly had to catch himself so he didn't fall off his stool. His brows furrowed when Al just left, their potion not even handed in. He realized that he had said something and for a moment he felt guilty for upsetting the Slytherin. Not that Al had never really upset him before, though he would never come out and admit that to anyone. Placing the potion in a phial, he handed it in to Slughorn and then quickly cleaned their work area and left the room.
