Dock by the lake

[TAM'S!!!!!!]


*Tam wandered down and sat on the end of the dock, wondering where Peter had gotten too.*


[IS STILL WRAPPED IN BANDAGES]

Peter walks in, looking for Tam. He found her, as expected, on her dock, wrapped in bandages. He runs towards her.

"Tam! Are you--okay?"

[*grabs a seat and watches*]

*Tam looked up as Peter ran over*

Hey love... I'm feeling better now... didn't you hear what happened?

[RON!!!!!! *hugs* we need to hang out later!]

[OOH DRAMA LLAMA? *munches on popcorn*]

[Yes we do!!]

Yeah, I did, and I'm fucking pissed at Sirius about it. Second time this week--it's a record for us...
*He smiles and sits down next to her, slipping off his shoes and dangling his feet in the water.*

*Tam smiled at him and rested her head against his shoulder* Well if it makes you feel any better a bunch of people have already yelled at him... so where were you?

And--I picked up some stuff for him, or her. *He reveals that the bag contains magical pacifiers, a pack of diapers that clean themselves, two different onesies in unisex colors, and other assorted magical baby items.* I wanted to show you that I really meant it when I said that I was going to be our baby's father. *He looks straight into her eyes*

*tears welled in Tam's eyes* Peter.... you have no idea what this means to me... *she leaned forward and pulled him into a hug* thank you so much....

*He pulled her close to him, trying to convey everything he felt into that hug--and that was quite a task.*
Do--do you know--whether it's a boy or a girl? *He asks, very quietly*

*she smiled and whispered the answer in his ear*

[Keeping you lot in suspense for as long as possible!]

He smiles, overjoyed at the news. He leans forward, kissing Tam briefly on the lips. There was hope for them, he realized, for him and Tam, and their baby, who was suddenly much more real, now that he had all the toys and clothes for him, and now that he knew that it was a him.

[*hugs Peter* I LOVE YOU!!!!! This is way more fun than it should be]

*Tam couldn't contain the huge grin on her face. Not that she really wanted to... maybe it really would all turn out okay*
