Hello and welcome to AWF.
This is just a brief introduction and welcome to all who are new to the forum, or are considering joining. I am Mya, resident Ringmaster and Admin.

First of all, an introduction to the Moderator team:

A few things to note:
The Rules are there for everyone’s benefit to create a safe and happy forum. Please take the time to read through the rules very carefully, and PM any of the Mods or Admin if you have any questions, or are unclear on any of the rules. Failure to comply with rules may result in warnings, account suspension, or immediate banning from the site.

The Help/Suggestions section is the place to go if you have a question to ask, or a suggestion to make to help AWF grow and improve.

The Muggle World, and the All About You forum is a great place to get acquainted. Head down there and chat with your fellow AWFers about anything and everything. Alternatively, branch out into other areas of the forum to discuss your favourite moments in the Harry Potter series, both books and film, in the relevant threads, ask questions, debate theories, and chat about HP with people who love it just as much as you do.

All characters in the role play (RP), regardless of generation, are Hogwarts students. Yes, it’s a bit awkward that we often have three generations of Potters or Malfoys running around the same house, but such is life. Anyone from the same family but a different generation generally calls themselves cousins to avoid confusion. If you would like to join the role play, please read and follow the RP Rules.

To nominate your House, click on the Usergroups tab at the top of the page. Then, under Join A Group, select the House of your choice and click View Information. Click ‘Join Group’. Your House Mod will approve the selection as soon as possible and you will be admitted to the Common Room.

To have your year displayed on your user profile, please PM Molly Prewett with your preference and your profile will be updated as soon as possible.

The Daily Reel is a good place to read to catch up on the background of the RP, if you’re interested in seeing particular characters’ development. To jump on into RP, you can post in the The I'm Bored So Let's Hang Thread to scare yourself up a playmate. Alternatively, some threads in the RP Forum are marked [FREE ROLE PLAY AREA]. These threads are available for anyone at any time – pop on into one of those threads and anyone is allowed to show up at any point for a bit of unplanned fun.
