Ron!! It's great to see you mate! Gosh were have you been?!

I had dragon pox and mum wouldn't let me come back, I finally convinced her I was well enough.

"Oh.." Harry said taking a step back. "You're sure you're all better?" He asked not wanting to get the dragon pox.

"Positive" Ron scratched his neck "...I think."

"Yeahh that's what I figured.." He said as he saw Ron was obviously still a little under the weather.

"Yeah.." Ron face quickly turned into a look of confusion "Wait! What do you mean 'that's what I figured'?"

Harry grinned at Ron. "Well..you just don't look as...urm..perky as usual. That's all."

[Ahh I see! ]

Ron's voice became very loud and defensive "I'm plenty perky!"

Have you boys finished your Potions homework?

Harry was about to open his mouth to tell Ron to take it easy but when Hermione came he closed his mouth and looked over at Ron with a worried look on his face that was basically saying to Ron I didn't...did you???

*rolls eyes* Of course you didn't, what am I saying?

Ron noticed Harry's look and shook his head. "Well, er Hermione, you know I was thinking since I've been sick and all, you would let me copy yours" He gave Hermione his cute boyish smile.

"Urm...yeah Hermione...and I've been busy with ya know...stuff...heh heh..could I maybe copy yours too?" Harry said giving her a cheesy grin...hoping it would work.

*Hermione raises her eyebrows*
Ron, if you were lazing about in bed all day, you ought to have had plenty of time to catch up on your homework. And Harry...

*shakes head disapprovingly*

I don't even know what you've been up to!

"But I was dying!" Ron was hoping that pulling the pity card would work.

I wasn't getting into trouble! I swear! I've just been...uh..with Drammy a lot and have lost track of time...I'm sure you know what it's like to lose track of time when you are with the person you love! *He said hoping he would hit a soft spot somewhere*

Ron looked at Harry in confusion "Drammy? Love?" what have I missed?

*to Ron* Then I'm sure you'll get an extension and can finish it yourself!

*to Harry* Yes, I do know what that's like.... but everyone else manages. Some of us manage without a full night's sleep, to boot.

"An extension in potions? I'll get on that" Ron's jaw mentally dropped at what Hermione had said to Harry. "You know what it's like?...Not like I care or anything."

Harry saw Ron had missed a LOT. "Ron! Uh...Ginny broke up with me...I don't know what I did! So...uhh I'm over her and a couple other people after some love potions here and there and I've finally found my true love! Dramione!" He blurted out...then grinned..hoping all that covered the fact that Ginny broke up with him.

Harry then turned to Hermione "Well...you're just amazing! ...soo could I copy? PLEASEE!!! I NEED a good grade on this assignment!"

*turns pink and snaps at Ron* Yeah, I know what it's like. In more ways than you realise. And NO, Harry, you need to learn this material for yourself, and that'll never happen if you keep copying me. Besides, the baby threw up all over my essay and I haven't had a chance to rewrite it....
