The Three Broomsticks

Hermione giggles. "Last time I was in Hogsmeade, it was with Viktor - we were on a wild chase involving a drunk Regulus and Djinn. Nothing much happening, I guess - it's all studying and taking care of the baby these days. It's quiet, but I love it. How about you? How's George?" she asks politely, because at the end of the day it's Ange's choice to be with George, and a better friend would learn to respect that.

Ange laughed. "A drunk Reg? Oh man, sounds like a handful," she grinned. "Things with George are really great actually... He's been wonderful." She bit her lip, knowing Mya didn't really approve of George anymore. "How are you and Remus doing, with Kiora and all?"

"I'm glad to hear it," Hermione says, smiling. She takes another drink. "Things with Remus are going great. Except for Amethyst being away and Lenore missing her like crazy. It's hard, sometimes," she says, surprising herself with her own honesty. "I mean, we don't get a lot of time together anymore. We're always busy, and always, always, always tired. But we do our best, and we're happy. That's the main thing, right?"

She nodded. "Definitely. If you're not happy, then what's the point? You guys will have a great family, I can just tell. Once you guys get out of here, you guys will have a lot more time to yourselves, not having to worry about studying for classes and exams. You amaze me though, all this and you've still managed to stay top of your class." She grinned playfully and took another sip of butterbeer.

Hermione laughs. "My pride wouldn't accept anything less. That was more careful planning than anything though - I studied like a demon while I was pregnant and got all my assignments turned in early, so now I only have to focus on keeping up with my study schedule for NEWTs. Leaves me more time for Kiora, and less affected by the lack of sleep, you know?"
She takes another long drink. "You have any plans for the summer?"

"Smart idea." She laughed and shook her head. "Nope, not yet. I'm hoping to see my family of course, but I would love to spend some of the summer with George... I had to spend some time at home recently and I missed him and everyone like crazy. It's so weird not being able to see everyone all the time."

"It's going to be strange next year - not coming back here with everyone," Hermione says. "I didn't know you'd gone," she comments, feeling like the most self-involved person ever. Then she chuckles. "You'll like the Burrow, I think, if you get to visit George with his family. There's never a dull moment there."

Ange nods. "I'm really going to miss you. And Viktor, even Dean..." She sighed and then laughed. "Oh, really? I can imagine it gets pretty damn crazy there with so many kids, but I'd really love to spend time there this summer. It seems like it would be so fun."

"Well maybe one Hogsmeade weekend I'll come into the village, and we can catch up or something," Hermione offers shyly. "'Pretty damn crazy' is a bit of an understatement for the Burrow, actually. That's more like a lazy Sunday for them. But it's great, it really is," she promises, and finishes her drink.

She smiles. "That'd be great! I'd love to see you!! That would make me so happy!" She downs the rest of her butterbeer. "I can't even imagine, especially with Fred and George being pranksters. It's got to be nuts!" she laughed.

"Explosions from their room are the norm at the Burrow," Hermione says, completely serious, while they wait for Krack to stop whining about how long it's been since they've fucked and get on with actually fucking.

Eowyn would like to remind Hermione that the shower scene has to go on first, because that happens first, and it wouldn't make sense to do that. So Eowyn isn't paying attention to the bathroom right now.

Ange threw her head back and laughed. "Oh merlin, that would be interesting," she grinned. "Gotta be fun to deal with."

Hermione orders another round of butterbeer. "Yeah. It's great. No wonder Mrs Weasley yells so much, though!"

[FOR REAL. I WAS PROMISED I COULD DO THIS TONIGHT. NOT. COOL.]

She groaned and took a sip of her second butterbeer. "Mrs. Weasley... Not sure she likes me all that much." She bit her lip. "But I can see her yelling at those two a lot, they are definitely trouble makers."

"She's protective," Hermione says, and Lenore cringes, remembering how much fun she had on that account, being a total bitch before she changed it to young, cute, stoner Molly. "She's been cold to me in the past, when she thought that I led Harry on during the Triwizard Tournament. It was pretty awful. But then, when it all got cleared up, she was perfectly lovely again. I'm sure she'll come around - you're great, she should be over the moon that George is so lucky!"

[I said it MIGHT be tonight! I told you we have other scenes. Patience woman!]

She nodded and smiled uncomfortably. "I hope so. It would be SO awkward if she won't give me a chance." Angela shakes her head remembering Lenore's antics as the Weasley matriarch and sighs sadly.

"She will," Hermione says, trying to be supportive. "And if she doesn't, well, I'll go over there and give her what for, ok? You're bound to look like an angel in comparison to me after that!"

[Um. It can't wait! It has to happen first! SO WAIT!!!]

[NO. I AM IMPATIENT. YOU KNOW THIS. YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE THESE SCENES WHILE I WAS GONE. I DEMAND THIS NOW.]

She laughed. "Well thanks for that! I may need it," she shook her head. "George swears she'll get over it when she realizes he's not letting me go, I just... don't want her to hate me."

[UM. EOWYN AND I HAD SOCIAL LIVES TODAY AND WE'RE NOT ONLINE UNTIL LATE. SHUDDUP.]

Hermione nods sympathetically and thinks briefly about Remus' bitch of a mother while she takes another drink. "Well, you should listen to George I think - she's his mother and he knows her best. Mothers and sons, huh?" she sighs. "What is it with them never being able to let go?"

She laughed and drank some more. "No kidding? They just... can't let go of their little boys I guess... Can't face them getting all grown up."
